Starbucks in Ceredigion

This is a large Starbucks with a reasonable amount of seating and it felt Covid secure. The staff were great and very helpful. A good place for a break in the centre of town.

Located at the top of the high street with plenty of COVID 19 spacing. Easy access for wheel chairs and buggy’s. Usual SB food selection and service with a smile from the students. All cups for now are take aways. Toilets available. If this helped please like.

When questioned why there was a 20p difference in the advertised price and the price asked for be told well thats the price on the till and i have to charge you that. When I told them well your advertising it as that price shouldent you charge that price. To be told again no i have to charge whats on the till. On pressing the complaint as she seemed to think the price differing from the board was natural she eventually said she could let a manager know.

Thanks so much to the team for being so great when we knocked a coffee over and replacing it. Great atmosphere and service with a smile even when the shop was busy.

Nice and quiet compared to most Aberystwyth cafes at lunchtime. Dogs allowed I think, seen them in here before. Overpriced but that's to be expected with a Starbucks. Would recommend for a drink and snack but getting a filling lunch here isn't easy/

Walking through Aberystwyth early morning with the wife, Starbucks on Great Darkgate Street was one of the few places open.Good morning coffee (cafe latte) for myself and tea for the wife to wash down breakfast, set us up for the day.Friendly local Welsh service, where we could practice the few words of Welsh we know.Diolch.

Some starbucks are hit and miss with there baristas moods but on this particular occasion, it was a very pleasant experience with brillant coffee and cake and smiling baristas.

Great atmosphere. Good place for couples, friends, friendly place for parents with children. Beautiful interior design.

How many attempts at making toast without dropping or burning it. The place is run by kids who couldn't care less

Starbucks as we know it: very good to have a nice cup of tea. we always love to come to a Starbuck-Restaurant, and so was this one.

This Starbucks is in a handy spot on the the top of town near Dark Gate. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I really like their porridge. Also Starbucks now has a mushroom risotto which is tasty and could be a treat in cold weather. Nice vibe.

Visited at 19.30 to be yd on entering we close in half an hour, orders ciabatta drinks couple of cakes again hold we close inbcslf an hour, after we wiped down thd table we consumed our food outside as we travel with our dog, whilst eating our purchase staff decided to empty the bins very noisily I assume so we had no doubt they closed in half an hour. The out side area was kitted with Starbucks rubbish, lids,napkins,cutlery all sorts. Very disappointed a chain of such magnitude does have better staff training in place and managers who make sure standards are maintained.

Stopped off here whilst walking down to the castle. Yum yum yum to their caramel latte. It was really tidy in the Starbucks and a relaxed atmosphere. Also the staff were friendly!

Clean, cool, friendly staff, nice coffee & teas. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Try the peach and citrus green tea, very refreshing.

This is a very nice Starbucks and it is very clean The staff are friendly and helpful and it is a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy your favourite drink

Not usually a fan of Starbucks, but on this occasion did have a good coffee in a nice coffee shop. Would visit again.

This is a lovely Starbucks because it is actually really spacious. I think the nature of where it is, means that it usually isn't too full unlike some other Starbucks which makes it a much nicer experience.

Visited here a couple of times with friends during our stay in the town. The atmosphere is always really good and the layout of the tables and chairs doesn't make it feel like your sat to on top of each other like in other coffee places. Drinks were delivered quickly and efficiently. Definitely a place we will revisit.

Visited for a quick coffee and to check things on internet as no signal where we were staying. Service was friendly, coffee was good and lemon muffin was tasty. Seating was clean. Only thing missing was a tray to carry drinks to the table.

Spent a few days in Aber and worked as my partner was working as well.

Loud and uncomfortable place, unfriendly staff and too much plastic. The guy serving at the till heated up a salmon and cream cheese bagel, which made it all horrible, the cheese like curdled and who wants hot smoked salmon? The mozzarella baguette was soggy. He then banged the two plates as well as two plastic tubs of water in front of me, expecting me to carry it away without a tray or anything. He also did not listen and heard Americano when I said Latte. Same experience with the coffees - banged in front of me. And what excuse is there for only offering plastic cutlery and plastic water tubs rather than glasses.

First visit to Aberystwyth, very surprised to find a Starbucks that allows dogs !! Thank you. We were struggling to find somewhere that not only serves good coffee but made us and our little terrier welcome. The lovely member of staff also provided water for her.

I know it seems wrong to go to a Starbucks when on holiday... I do try to stick with local businesses. However, I needed somewhere quiet and undemanding to sit and deal with emails. This place provided an appropriate sanctuary. Also, the coffee was hot, strong but not bitter.... Just what I needed.

It really is terrible that in this day and age people can't walk into a coffee shop speaking their own language and order a cup of coffee!

Just popped in for a takeaway mango frap on a sunny day. good friendly sevice. good clean spacious modern decor. Starbucks as youd expect it.

We were staying in Aberyswyth for New Year and had taken a walk along the promenade. Heading up into the town away from the wind we noticed the familiar green sign. The first thing that I noticed on stepping inside was the feeling of space, very unusual for these kinds of places where tables are normally squeezed in making it impossible to be able to sit, relax and enjoy a drink. There were a number of different seating options, high tables and stools, comfy chairs with small tables and formal tables with chairs, a good mix! The till staff were slow however the drinks were made pretty quick and were hot. We left with a Christmas Starbucks tree ornament which were on sale and of which will remind us of possibly my favourite Starbucks.

Usual Starbucks coffee but a good sized and relaxed venue where you can chill out and recharge! Located neat the clock tower towards the end of the main street (about level with the pier, but inland) and not far from the castle ruins.

Everything you would expect from a coffee house,with very friendly stafff.Tables seated outside so that the smokers among us can actually enjoy a coffee and a ciggy.

We hadn't been to Aber for a while and we were horrified when we rocked up at our favourite fish and chip restaurant in the entire world to find it had been turned into a bloody Starbucks!

Lovely spacious coffee shop with plenty of room, although the tables are minute and you cannot really fit much on them. The drinks are consistently of high standard and there are plenty of cake and bread options. This establishment is however severely lacking any healthy options and it would be nice to see more. The staff were friendly and there always seemed to be a queue through the duration of our visit.

Very lovely and chatty staff, got my order in no time in nice and clean way. So much better than experience I had with Starbucks at Wrexham services two days ago. Just shows how individual the cafes are despite being part of a chain

On account of one of the perks of becoming a bit of a regular is that the crew at this Starbucks go out of their way to be appropriately friendly and to make sure that everything is 'just right'...

Perfect strawberry frappe from this Starbucks! For soy milk not great as was thick and not blended properly but they did offer to exchange it so can't fault really happy customer!

Called here because it was convenient and Okay It is what it is.! The Coffee was fine and it was Clean and tidy but a bit noisy for me Im afraid.Staff were polite and well thats it really

I mean, the FREE food promotion for Card Holders (this week if you had the email) is a reason to come back. Along with it being the favourite place for one of my grandchildren due to its 'awesome chocolate cake'. But there are other sound reasons for popping in: it's warm and cosy, spacious and airy, the staff are lovely, it is probably one of the cleanest Starbucks in the U.K., they genuinely care about language and culture, and the new improved comfortable seating is a hit. All of this and FREE WiFi to boot.

Not really much to say. If you a so desperate for a coffee that you cannot walk 5 more steps to one of aberystwyths 58 other coffee shops then this will do. It is like every other starbucks, but what did you expect. If you are an addict, then this will relieve your fix. But for anyone who wants something not starbucks, there is plenty more choice

Visited twice now and enjoyed both times. On this occasion we had Christmas lattes and they were lovely. Squashy comfy seats and nice atmosphere. Would recommend (especially for the Christmassy drinks!)

Second time we've been. Thought the first time was poor but everyone deserves a second chance. What a nightmare. Full of college, school kids who weren't even eating or drinking and weren't challenged by staff even though the cafe was full! The acoustics are terrible. So noisy. Plastic knives to cut a hot panini - not easy. Unless you like going to a cafe where you can't hear yourself think, avoid this one.

Family day out and visited for lunch. Staff excellent, very friendly and patient, we felt very welcome. We enjoyed the pleasant, clean setting. Food ready quickly and served with a smile.

About time we see this great, sociable cafe enter the town!! It offers a relaxing comfortable setting, you feel like you could sit there and enjoy your coffee for most of the day! No complaints.. Great to offer wifi, student friendly and bring a lease of life to the top of town!

My husband and I went in to Starbucks on two different occassions shortly after opening to see what it's like. The first day we went, we found the place in total chaos, staff running around like headless chickens, no manager in sight to organise it better. Our orders got confused and we had to keep walking back to the till to ask for the drinks we ordered but once it got sorted out we enjoyed our coffees and the food. It's not the cheapest way to get a coffee but it's nice and makes a change to have it every now and again. The second time we went we found there was less customers inside and the staff was coping much better with running of the place. I ordered the Pumpkin Spiced Latte on both occasions, first time I thought it was very sweet but enjoyed it nonetheless, and the second time I thought it was less sweet and tasted like a plain coffee until I got halfway through and noticed the Pumpkin syrup at the bottom of a cup - unstirred - thus making it impossible to drink further and defeating the point of having a flavoured coffee. Hopefully these were just the early days and they will get it right eventually.

This was my second visit to the newly opened store and I must say that I have been greeted by friendly and well trained staff on both occasions. I have even been offered advice regarding the two main coffee bean types, and thoroughly enjoyed my Flat White today with the 'B' Option Blend. Seating is well laid out, the premises are clean, and there are plenty of comfy seats. This is a great addition to the Aberystwyth coffee culture and somewhere that I will occasionally visit.
