Tesco Cafe in Ceredigion

Enjoyed the food coffee was hot staff are always great management runs a smooth ship ...lovely relaxing visit yet again

This cafe is now one of the best in Aberystwyth. The food is lovely and good value. Most of all the staff are so helpful and friendly! The girls on the till are always smiling and upbeat no matter how big the queues are. The food comes out fast enough and is always piping hot too. The staff deserve lots of praise and perhaps a Xmas bonus?

Nice coffee, lovely food, friendly service. Really good menu. Took a while to get a dessert, but we werent in a hurry.

Great food and variety. Staff is always polite and very quick to serve. Everything is tidy and never dirt on anywhere.

Six hungry walkers + baby + dog were welcomed by very pleasant and efficient staff. We all enjoyed our breakfasts (sausage, bacon, eggs etc / crushed avocado on toast / porridge). Comfortable and clean restaurant. Excellent value.

We had 1 full and one vegan breakfast. Both were delicious. The gentleman and young lady who served us were very warm, welcoming and professional. A very good standard of cleanliness and hygiene. An excellent and surprisingly good experience for a supermarket cafe.

Helpful and friendly staff, they gave us information where to find places as we are not locals. Very clean tables and chairs. Gorgeous hot chocolates. Talented staff member made my milk look like a leaf.

Very friendly atmosphere. Grat food Debbie the chef made a fantastic effort to make our visit a pleasant one

Have been here 3 times now food is really good, lovely friendly staff and nice and clean .A great choice on the menu can't fault it

I popped in for a light bite and was served by a lovely lady who smiled all the time and had a great sense of humour whilst serving the coffee. Gave me a great start to the day. Will def be back for the smiles.

Had a lovely meal here with my wife. Pleasant staff and good quality cooked food. Ok so it's not a gourmet restaurant but it's decent food at a reasonable price with a cheerful atmosphere

This is ok to grab a quick drink but not much else. The breakfast we had was pretty awful - the omlette was runny and tasteless - cheap ingredients used throughout. You can get so much better at the nearby Wetherspoons for example. It is almost as they are not really trying. The cafe also has no windows so not that good a place even for just a coffee. The M&S cafe (in the same building) is so much better.

Popped into tesco while on our day out from the west !! Decided to have a coffee. The first lot we had were disgusting like dish water . Took them back to the counter where the lady behind the counter was very off hand. No sorry offered fresh coffee wish we’d not bothered the most disgusting coffee I’ve ever had out. Never again. Along with no customer service. Which needs improving ! Badly !!

Easily the worse food I have ever tased! I’m baffled how anyone on earth could possibly make a cooked breakfast tase so bad! It’s almost a skill in itself. If I make it through the day without getting food poisoning or vomiting over the thought of the three mouthfuls of that utter filth that I ate it’ll be a miracle!

While shopping popped in for a quick light lunch, never again. The egg on toast consisted of two uncooked eggs and when turned over the toast was burnt black, the fish finger wrap was cold and on pouring the milk into the tea floating spots of it were evident, what a disgusting effort on their behalf, although the young lady at the till was very pleasant, It is unfortunate but I do not hate anyone enough to recommend this cafe to them.

I went to tesco with my family we ordered food, my food came and it was freezing cold so I sent it back and came back 2 mins later still the same. When the other food came it was freezing cold to so we asked for our money back because we had stuff to do, the chef came out and started saying it wasn't cold and because we asked for a refund the chef started shouting and walked off and slamming stuff around. While we were there, other people was complaining about food to. So won't be going there again.

My first visit was a little bit of a let down but on this occasion we called in for Breakfast. We had 'The Breakfast' and am so glad we didn't order the larger one as this was great. There must have been about 4 bacon rashers plus hash brown, beans, egg, sausage and either fried bread or toast. It was piping hot and not a sign of any grease at all. In fact it was probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in ages. I'm really pleased I didn't write them off after the first visit. Lovely friendly staff too. Will be back!

Popped in for breakfast/lunch as it was our anniversary i had the breakfast and everything was perfectly cooked and hot and my husband had a toasted sandwich the coffees were lovely and everywhere was lovely and clean we didn't have to wait long either

We popped in for a coffee before shopping at M & S. There was one girl taking orders on the till, I asked for our coffees she said “medium”? I presumed that was not large but on paying I realised it was not the size I wanted. Staff are trained to lead you to choose the more expensive option! I asked for cold milk when ordering but had to ask again when it didn’t come with it. Won’t come here again.

We have called in to the Tesco cafe several times since we have moved to Aberystwyh earlier this month ,we always find it clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and they give great customer service the staff always seem to be enjoying their job ,the food is very nice we have never had to wait too long for our food , my favourite is the beef and mushroom pie but it doesn't have much filling in it which is a shame as it is such a tasty pie

Popped in today for the first time. Just wanted a light meal so we both opted for the soup. I had chicken and vegetable and my OH had the tomato and Basil. Tasted his and it was quite nice but my own lacked any real flavour. By biggest bug bear was that it was tepid which to be honest doesn't help the taste. I won't write this cafe off yet as I will go again and sample their other offerings as the folks on the tables next had fish and chips and they looked quite tasty. I have to add the two guys serving were really nice. Just wish that as they bring food out to the customers they would stop and collect empty dishes etc off tables and there's nothing worse than having to sit at a table, moving used crocks etc around to make space.

Popped in after shopping for two bacon rolls and two coffee,25 mins. later after drinking our coffee the bacon rolls still were not forthcoming and on asking at the counter they had been missed,I must point out that this is the second time this has happened to us,although afull refund was given with courtesy, the obvious point is the lack of service and attention given to customers however small the order,pretty poor really.

Often nobody to serve at the counter and have to wait till somebody turns up ~ but food arrives quickly after ordering. Coffee was fine but sausage in a bloomer was cold and greasy. One wonders how long the sausage had been kept at risky temperatures.

Went there today for some shopping and popped into the cafe for something to eat.

I sometimes use the Cafe in the new Tesco near the station. I usually visit at breakfast time and have a bacon roll and a coffee.

Great start to the day. Nice home style food. Clean, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Plenty of variety.

Tucked away in the Tesco Store its a bit claustrophobic (no natural window light) and the server was on his own just about managing to cope with counter orders. But he did well.
