Don’t be put off by the rather clumsy name of this light and airy café in Llandeilo, nor by negative comments made by others on this site. Lovely coffee and cakes and friendly, helpful service yn y Gymraeg. Diolch yn fawr.

Went in at 3:30pm asked what time they close and was given an abrupt 4pm, so asked about food and they stopped serving at 3:30pm it wasn’t busy yet still took them 15min to make 2 coffees, and was reminded again the shut at 4 when served the coffee, the staff appeared to need a rocket up their backsides looked miserable and not very customer friendly, won’t rush back

Popped in here for a light lunch.Ordered soup and coffees The coffee arrived and we had finnished our coffee and i had to ask members of staff twice to see where our soup had got to. A couple who arrived after us got their food before us. Staff not really interested and after being told our soup was being plated we had to wait another 5 mins before it actuallt arrived.

Had an Almond Croissant which was more like a buscuit, very hard and dry. I mentioned to the staff how hard it was and she said it was double baked. She offered to change it for a different Croissant but I had been looking forward to it. I've since learnt double baked means reusing yesterday's Croissant and filling it with some Almond filling. I left the top half as it was just to hard and dry to eat. £3.50 for a recycled left over Croissant is disappointing and not what I expected. I've had others in a variety of establishments and never experienced this before. It has put me off as a returning customer. There was no indication when deciding to purchase it.

This is a review of the Friday Pizza night. Booking: says online to book via social media, by phone or calling in. Tried social media but noone picked up the message so had to phone to ensure the booking went through. Arrived, seated near the deli. Staff friendly. All Welsh speaking except one man who insisted on speaking English even though I know he can speak Welsh which was just odd, especially when he started speaking Welsh, clearly by accident then mid sentence turned to English lol. Menu: 2 courses £20 or 3 courses £25. Starters: there is only one starter - the deli selection; ours contained focaccia baked in store (very good), half a dozen olives, a couple of cornichons, a small bowl of oil and balsamic, one delicious pickled onion which I enquired about but they didn’t have any in the deli and three very small slices of charcuterie. Also half a bag of crisps. It was ok. Would have preferred another slice of meat instead of crisps. The meat selection seemed a little mean for the price. Pizza: we orderded the shredded ham and comfit pineapple and the diavolo. Both were very good. We didn’t have pudding but there was tiramisu and chocolate brownie available. Nice selection of drinks. This meal was nice, however, we wouldn’t rush back. We would have preferred to be able to buy the dishes separately and then we could have ordered another pizza instead of the starters. There were no options for sides.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. However, I ordered poached eggs on toast which took an hour and a half to arrive. No, that's not a typing error. We weren't warned of the wait beforehand. When my husband enquired after an hour, they did offer free drinks and later offered free pastries, but we won't be going back. Food is good, but not worth that wait. The previous time, my husband had a lovely Pitchfork breakfast but I had a disappointing soup which was tasteless and watery. I do hope things improve as the first few times we went there it was spot on.

Good and surroundings are very good and the staff are very pleasant but don’t come here if you want something quick. Waiting times are generally too long.

We made an impromptu stop at this amazing cafe and deli. We had the home made mushroom soup followed by their bread & butter pudding. Both dishes were filled with flavour that you would only find with people who are passionate about what they do. This is simply a truly superb and very special place!

So disappointed. We were visiting the town and went for lunch. We ordered the gammon mash and tea, the tea arrived quickly- lovely large cups but tiny teapot - just enough for one cup. After more than 15 minutes I went to ask how long the food would be 'just plating up'. We were so disappointed, the portion was tiny; it looked bland and there was very little shredded gammon or potato, the red cabbage was unpleasant - the best thing was the egg on top. Inside the base of the bowls was clear liquid? Not like a mash at all. At £12.50 for the gammon mash and £3 for the tea it was an expensive, unenjoyable experience We needed to catch a bus so had no time to complain but will not be back.

What a great find! Lovely deli/bakery/café in Llandeilo. Had a delicious brunch of shredded gammon, egg and potato hash - to die for! My partner had the bread basket which was a mixture of toast, croissant and pain au chocolat. Lovely place, delicious food. Would recommend.

I’ve visited Pitchfork and Provision 4 times over the last year, but only once have we been able to dine. The first time we happened on it by accident, most of the menu wasn’t available but what we had was absolutely delicious. Needless to say we wanted to go back. The second time, I took my partner, but there was no sandwiches left, so we just had a coffee. It was nice, but disappointed we couldn’t eat. The third time I visited with a friend for their pizza Fridays we had heard about and seen on Instagram - they looked great. But there was an issue with the booking and so my friend and I went elsewhere for food. Disappointing again. The fourth time we went, and last, I had booked a table, again for a pizza night. This was booked 3 weeks in advance to celebrate with my partner. We were turned away due to another booking issue. We were eventually offered a table but on the caveat we could have side dishes - but that’s not what you want after booking for a pizza night. Not sure why more action wasn’t taken here. We had a 55 minute round trip to get there and back all for nothing. After contacting them to express my disappointment, they offered a free meal, but unfortunately it shouldn’t have taken a message following these experiences, as well as having stood there with staff not knowing what to do or say to get this issue highlighted. Pitchfork and Provision have a great ethos and food looks great, if you can ever get any! However there is a long long way to go from a customer service and experience perspective. I shan’t be returning in the near future due to all the disappoint so far, but hope things are really turned around.

We happened upon Pitchfork & Provision purely by chance on an afternoon's shopping trip around Llandeilo. What a hidden gem! The coffee is incredible, really very good indeed. And the food! Well, I had a brunch which was all locally sourced and although not cheap was worth every penny. My wife had a cheese and ham toastie on their seemingly signature sourdough, which was hearty, generous and delicious. Very friendly staff too! We loved this place and the clean, Scandi feel they've created inside. More than that, the food and coffee is 10/10. I hope this place continues to thrive because it deserves to. Hopefully we'll be back soon. Thanks.

Fabulous food, friendly service, portions generous. Cakes and bread really nice, everything is homemade. Can hugely recommend the full day breakfast - homemade baked beans, locally sourced bacon and sausage, which were delicious, served on their lovely sourdough bread. Yum!

We visited as a group of 12 as we were staying nearby for the weekend. We could not have asked for more attentive service or a better doughnut. We sat in the sunny courtyard and just had the loveliest afternoon in this chilled little cafe.

I decided to take away a couple of things so my mother and i could enjoy some local food at home together. We decided on their homemade sausage rolls, their cake and a cinnamon roll. I was absolutely blown away by the taste! OMG how delicious! The cake was Very slightly on the dry side but not too dry, and could've done with a little bit more raspberry filling, however the sausage roll an cinnamon roll were absolutely bang on. no complains whatsoever!

Excellent food, (their Soup and Welsh Rarebit are something special) great Sourdough bread and pastries, as well as being an excellent place to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the day. Brilliant friendly staff and a great contemporary café experience. Great coffee.....What is not to like? Ychwanegiad newydd gwych i'r dref ac fel bonws mae rhan fwyaf o'r staff yn siarad Cymraeg hefyd. Y cyfan sydd ei angen arnom nawr yw bwydlen ddwyieithog.

Stopped here for a bite of lunch whilst in the town. Delicious food, menu was relatively small but all of the options sounded tasty and not bad value. Would definitely go back if happened to be in the area again.

The staff was very smiley, we received warm welcome. Their specialty is the dinner which consists of countless different vegetables and 2 types of meat. The temperature of the food was piping hot, the plate was full of delicious, good quality food and it was considerably cheap as well. The place has got many different types of homemade cakes, and it serves coffees as well. We will be definitely coming back.

I come to Pontarddulais once a year while hubby visits a client and was excited to learn of the new espresso bar here. However, I was shocked at the prices!!! £4 for a latte and £3.90 for a flat white/cappuccino. Yikes! We were recently in Melbourne and Sydney and the most I paid for a latte there was £3, overlooking Sydney harbour. Mostly £2 generally and never had a bad one. Sadly, Coaltown’s flat white was way too strong and I didn’t enjoy 😝. I’ll bring my own next time. Shame, as I like the smell and ambience of a coffee shop.

Bues i i'r caffi yma ychydig o wythnosau yn ol, ar ol ymweld a'r parc gyda fy'n nheulu. Roedd y bwyd wedi cymryd amser hir i fod yn barod ond roedd y bryd yn blasus dros ben. Bydden wedi hoffi i'r staff fod ychydig yn fwy 'welcoming' a roedd y caffi ychydig yn fach ond os yn anwybyddu hyn, fe ges i amser da iawn a bwyd neis hefyd. I went to the cafe a couple of weeks ago after visited the park with my family. the food took longer than expected to arrive but the meal was very delicious. I would have loved for the staff to be a bit more welcoming as the cafe was a little small but if I was to ignore this I had had a lovely time and a lovely meal to go with it.

If you are looking for the perfect Wedding or party venue, look no further. From our first meeting, Jonathan put us at ease and was the perfect Wedding planner. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for guests to walk around. The staff were really kind, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and perfectly timed. Thank you Jonathan for making our Wedding day so perfect! We wouldn't change a thing. We had so much fun, dancing and laughing the night away.
