We ordered the halloumi open sandwich. Really looking forward to it, but really disappointed when it arrived on a small plate with 3 pieces of halloumi on a piece of TOAST with a few salad leaves and cabbage. Ā£11.50! Absolute rip off. We wonāt be returning.

The chocolate eclairs sell out so quickly so you need to go early to get the best there. Lovely staff especially Karen who cannot do enough to help you.

Lovely lady behind the bar had a good chat woth and very knowledgeable. She made a good afternoon until some person who came from downstairs started to shout the odds at the lady behind the bar absolutely disgusting behaviour. It made us feel uncomfortable so we soon left Shame.as we was having a good afternoon. U felt sorry for the lady behind the bar was uncalled for so rude and nasty. We will not be returning our visit back which is a shame as it was a good afternoon !!

We didnāt stay but we called in for breakfast. They were shut or at full capacity. An amazing lady named Sarah on front of house provided us sandwiches and coffee and was an absolute star! Extremely welcoming and lovely. Thank you Sarah! We will 100% be looking to come and stay here in the future!

We came to sweet daisy for ice cream after a meal at the pub. There were eight of us so a big order. The man who served us was lovely, smiley and patient. There was a long queue forming behind us but we didnāt feel rushed. The ice creams were delicious and my sister said āfelt like they went on foreverā š which is quite the compliment! I had a rocky road and it was the best most delicious ice cream Iāve had all summer. Thank you.

We were at Brecon for the day, so we decided to call in to morrisons cafe for a cuppa and a bite to eat. Unfortunately there was no hot food available due to a problem, nevertheless you could have sandwiches and cakes etc, The wonderful Adam who was behind the counter was so helpful and very kind when I asked if I could purchase some porridge from the store and eat in the cafe, which he said would be fine. Adam was very polite and supplied me with oat milk ( amazing) as a lot of the cafes, Greggs being one of them had "run out" of oat and soya milk earlier. We had our food then realised our parking ticket was due to expire, and I still had my cup of tea to drink.. I asked if I could have a paper cup as I saw some by the coke machine, Adam asked me if I was taking it out, and supped me with a disposable cup for hot drinks , what a lovely, kind person ..A Credit to morrisons .. Thank you again, Adam, for such perfect customer service š š„°

So lovely warm greeting I ordered two strong hot chocolates and a round of Welsh cakes which was duly served and the hot chocolate was nice a strong full of flavour. The staff were friendly chatty and took genuine interest in who you were. I would highly recommend this cafe

Visited the cellar bar this evening for drinks- wow!! We were served and looked after by Quinn, who was amazing. His knowledge of the cocktails (which were delicious) was superb, 10/10 charming, friendly service. He went above and beyond to make our evening very special. Beautiful cocktails and atmosphere, we enjoyed every second. Thank you Quinn, we will be back! From Jack, Ellie, Lucy and Mark

Heard good things about the food since calling in for a pint after a hike during the Summer. Especially as we had my parents who are advancing in age with us, social distancing was particularly important. The staff managed to pull this off with partitions between tables which were neither obtrusive nor claustrophobic. The pub was really cosy and the staff were great. As for the food, I cannot recall when I had a Sunday Lunch so full of flavour. Lovely el dente green cabbage, tasty carrots and generous tender beef and pork. Two courses for Ā£12.45, (November 2020).A very traditional lunch which was value for money. Having the option to have leeks in cheese sauce and red cabbage for a couple of quid more would make it perfect.

A National Trust cafe tucked away in the corner of Bodnant Garden Centre with plenty of seating both inside and out. Lovely friendly staff, super speedy service and the tastiest cheese scone I've had in a long time.
