Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!

Always my go to cafe in mold and so glad it’s here. Clean and comfortable. Staff are always pleasant and they always have a vegan cake option available - would like a savoury vegan lunch option but happy with the cake - non dairy milk also available. Well priced and also clean toilets. Good place by the window as well to watch the world go by

I was in Mold August 2019 with my partner, his sister and her family we had got the coach from our caravan site to come to the markets. On arriving we deciding to go get some breakfast and found this smart little place we managed to get seats it was busyish with the markets being busy. We wanted avocado but unfortunately they hadn’t had a delivery so we ordered breakfast toasties. Food was nice as were the coffees but we realised mine and my partners seemed quite expensive when comparing what his sister and her partner paid for themselves and their 2 kids however once my partner queried this staff were very apologetic and gave us some money back. A nice little find!

Popped in to Lot 11 for a bacon buttie and a paned. On the wee blackboard by the counter it said, ' Breakfast baguette and hot drink'. When my order came to the table, it was bacon on bread. The bacon was mainly fat. I took it back to the counter and told the male server that I wasn't happy. He offered to replace with a sausage one, which I accepted. I don't believe it to be hygienic allowing dogs in to the café. My Mum was in last week and a dog shook itself. God knows what it shook off itself which may have landed on customer's food. Its owner was even dropping food on to the floor for it. This is a lovely café otherwise and the staff are pleasant.

We have been visiting Lot for a while, enjoy the location, the coffee and the free papers. Have picked up a few loyalty cards over time, submitted one today only to find you can no longer get a cake like before but only a bought in muffin, which was disappointing. Also, since the extension opened service has deteriorated, particularly in the new part, where 2 coffees and the muffin, require 3 visits to our table, dont they have trays?!

This is a perfectly decent cafe type establishment. Polite enough staff, decent enough tea, coffee and sandwiches. Allow dogs.. a bonus for us. Has less choices of cakes etc later on in the day but I guess that makes sense and keeps prices down. A good addition to mold.

Ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese to take away, she’s hesitated then said yes that’s fine. 5 minute wait I got my Potato and went back to work, opened it up to what looked like a spoon full of beans, never mind, then put my fork in, well tried! It was solid. I would say under cooked but don’t think it was cooked at al, so went back explained it was solid and couldn’t even get my fork in. She said sorry I’ll Get you another. Two minutes later came back they are all the same they aren’t cooked yet! So I had a refund and went elsewhere. Clearly the hesitation when I ordered was because she was unsure if they were cooked. Which they weren’t. Disappointed as I’ve never had a problem before, only ordered a potato because of the selection of 1 panini on offer.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews for this place, I’ve used it many times and have never had reason to complain. A great place for coffee cakes and light lunches. This place gives a warm and friendly service, the staff are always pleasant. This isn’t a Costa or Starbucks... it’s a locally owned coffee shop that gets to know their customers and works hard to offer the customer what they want. Personally I would always visit the independent locally owned shops over the big name stops and stores. This shop and many other independent shops within the town add to making a visit to Mold a pleasant one. There is always gluten free, dairy free and vegan options available here too and often stock the well know Delaney’s gluten free bakehouse free from products which are delicious . A loyalty card is here too so after a number of visits... a coffee and a cake is free . Can’t be any better

Nice and helpful staff and now double the size of cafe - may require extra staff!! Coffee is excellent and always a good atmosphere - bit of a wait which is understandable - good selection of panini- a much needed classic cafe in Mold

After a 25 minute wait, hummus and red pepper panini finally arrives - a tablespoon of hummus and a few strips of red pepper - no cheese included. Green leaf side salad came undressed - and no dressing was on offer on the tables. Toasted bread was tough. Avoid.

On my way into work I usually get a cappuccino and/or a sausage and bacon bloomer. I never have to wait long even when they have lots of customers to deal with on busy days. The cappuccinos there are so yum and I love the tomato chutney that comes with the breakfast bloomers.

I live in Mold and treat myself to lunch on occasion, the first couple of visits were fab, nicely presented tasty simple vegetarian food done well. I was impressed. Third visit they forgot about me and as I was in a rush I missed having lunch. Fourth visit was smashed avocados on toast - 2 slices of toast with a bit of mashed avocado and a few seeds, no salad, a bit disappointing. Today I asked for cappuccino and a halloumi salad, easy enough really, very nice cappuccino and the halloumi was toasted nicely the salad leaves were not just a bit tired, they were only fit for the bin and inedible. Come on guys you can do better than that. I won't be returning sadly.

Very clean and warm inside. Staff were extremely friendly with fussy Slimming Worlder helped, nothing was too much trouble. The mushroom bloomer is my new favourite breakfast. Spacious setting and not overcrowded so would be great for friends coffee catch up and home made cake too including some rather delicious looking donuts.

Lovely cafe right on the cross, great for people watching. I love coming here and have called in many times since it opened. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available. The cakes are delicious as is their latte. Have had a couple of snacks - toast, toasted teacakes, bacon bloomer, avocado / feta on toast - all lovely. Currently have some festive specials on the menu (food and drinks). Easily the best coffee in the area. Friendly staff. Free wifi. Loyalty card scheme. Wish their takeouts were a little cheaper though.

My son and girlfriend met us here for lunch one day. Unfortunately the restaurant was not having a good day and didn’t seem to have anything we asked for and made a mess up of my son and girlfriend’s vegan lunch. Our soup was nice but not very warm. The fire alarm went off and they had trouble turning it off. Just not a good visit but would be willing to try again. We all have an off day

I come to Lot 11 frequently. I work in mold so I like to go to Lot 11 for my breakfast before work and for lunch here and there. You can take the food out so that’s really helpful for me if I don’t have enough time to eat in. All the staff are very friendly and recognise you from when you’ve been in before. Lovely interior and always good music.

Saddened by some of the reviews. We had a lovely meal although I would say maybe took too long and could’ve done with a bit more but it is home cooked. Served by a young lady called Mandy we think or wendy only overheard from another it was very busy and she was not just serving behind the bar but also being our waitress. But I will mention her and her colleague Sammy we’ve been served by Sammy before were both great it’s always nice seeing staff have a laugh with each other makes the experience more homely. We stayed for drinks after and it was a very busy evening and the girl we mentioned before who served us food was so busy but always served with a smile. So all in all top food and top service! Will visit again. Pat on back to Mandy/wendy and Sammy
