Llegamos alrededor de la 1 pm del lunes, pedimos 2 patatas de chaqueta con atún y nos dijeron que lo sentimos, nos hemos quedado sin patata de chaqueta! Me decidí por la sopa de lentejas, tocino y zanahoria y mi amigo fue por un sándwich de huevo y berro preempaquetado, 2 botellas de agua. No nos impresionó ninguno de los dos para ser honestos. La sopa se veía muy poco atractiva y tenía una patada muy picante al final. El bocadillo estaba seco y no muy generoso con el relleno! Definitivamente poco personal allí. La señora detrás del mostrador era muy agradable y disculparse por los retrasos. A la pobre señora la soltaron, le dieron órdenes, le prepararon bebidas y le pagaron. ¡Realmente podría haberlo hecho con ayuda! Nadie limpiando/limpiando mesas. La señora que servía la comida era cortada y tenía muy pocas habilidades de servicio al cliente. ¡Una sonrisa marcaría la diferencia! Me encanta Dunelm pero el café es una decepción. Lovely meal , great service,nice ,clean friendly place ,will eat here again , lovely walks near by to cycle track ,would recommend this place to family and friends

Absolutely shocking service. The attitude on the person who has just served us was appalling !!!!! I don’t think she’d appreciate being treated in the same way. Practically threw the food at us and that wasn’t before stalling everything on the counter. Clearly everything was an issue. Sadly she didn’t wear a name badge but looking at previous complaints the manager has the same bad attitude so I’m guessing it was her. I have written a complaint to their head office and I hope she is reprimanded. In such a pandemic she is lucky to still be in employment. I won’t be calling again.

Unfortunately the opening hours shown here are wrong so we arrived too late to be served on a Saturday lunchtime. For reference, they are closed Monday and Tuesday, open 10-4 Wed & Thurs, 10-5 Fri and 10-2 Sat-Sun

Best pub in Shotton. Bar staff are fab, music is brill on the weekends and a huge sports screen! Cheap as also Against current establishments and climate!

Rubbish app, rip off if ordering manually. We got there, noting that if you don't order in the app, there is a 7.5% surcharge for ordering with staff. After the app - which is rubbish - crashed twice, the one member of staff said that I could order manually, but had to pay the surcharge regardless. We left.

This coffee shop has closed. There is a notice on the door that the landlord has repossessed the premise. A sad day as it had a friendly atmosphere and nice comfortable chairs😥

Not very welcoming and found the staff very rude and to busy sitting on a stool behind the bar than rather serving customers! New painted decor is very cold and takes away it old rustic pub vibes

Travelled from south wales on our only child free weekend to recieve a terrible service! Arrived at 3:30 and the hot tub was freezing cold from the moment we got there! Tried to blame us for taking the lid off that it wasnt warm! Bed was unmade with no bottom sheet. Did not recieve an email with terms and conditions about bbq’s on the grass which id say having signs for people to see no bbq’s on the grass would be more obvious! Tried to fine us 100£ for the grass and 200£ for leaves being in the hot tub when i dont understand how you can avoid that if your in the hot tub most of the day/night with trees surrounding your pod! Just another excuse! We didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub! Filled us with excuses from the moment we got there promised the hot tub would be warm by 9 and then it went to theyll empty and refill with warm water instead, but that didnt happen! Also ignored any repsonsibility to answer our questions on when the hot tub would be useable! Could have saved ourselves £120 and stayed at home in our garden! Our third stay there and thats our thanks! Would not recommend or return!

Not sure who wrote the good reviews for this place, but it is not a good place for a nice breakfast. Poorly prepared and the stewed tomatoes were not good, more like tomato paste. The toast was smushed with an oily yellow margarine or some sort of orange coloured oil making it seem like it was wet. No nice bread options at all. The coffee was dreadful, like washing up water plus no cream for coffee. There is a much better cafe across the way from Annies, I recommend it.

Fantastic breakfast, lovely local atmosphere and brilliant service. Would thoroughly recommend for a good old fashioned fry up and cuppa. Will definitely be coming back when we’re back in Swansea. Great value for money also!

It was a lovely pub and the food was excellent, cooked by Sue. We stayed for three nights in the biggest room so plenty of space to spread out. I can highly recommend. Will we go back? Definitely YES!

Called in yesterday and found that it had changed hands but still had wonderful service. The young lady serving behind the counter was friendly and I was served quickly even though they were busy Had a coffee and cupcake which was delicious and while there booked a birthday party for my youngest daughter as I found they do a craft themed party which sounds a great idea and good value for money
