Not very welcoming and found the staff very rude and to busy sitting on a stool behind the bar than rather serving customers! New painted decor is very cold and takes away it old rustic pub vibes

New Curry Night. £8 for a Curry and a pint. Excellent Value and very tasty. Choice of 12 Curries (including Vegetarian) and sides. Total bargain!

Nice atmosphere, nice menu with no Brioche Buns anywhere. Beer is competitively priced, which means compared to the rest of the Country, it’s very cheap. Worth a Visit.

I went here for a quiet drink with a couple of friends, my attention was first drawn to the cleanliness of the tables… they were sticky and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while… I overlooked this and got a drink…. The drink tasted vile like the lines had never been cleaned. And the glasses were still dirty. I made a trip to the toilet and wasn’t shocked to find the state of the toilets matched the rest of the Venue. They had also not been cleaned and there was urine all over the floor…. On top of all of this the clientele of the venue are very loud and not very appealing…. I would not recommend this pub to anyone… ever… I have only left this place a 1* review as zero is not an option!!!!

Awsome pub. Great friendly people and good times. Regular music in Saturday and always a tune or two from the resident MC Ian. Proper local pub. Best place for Shots in Shotton

Great staff and good atmosphere and there's decent drink offers to. I'd stopped going there until it was taken over last year but it's become one of my regular local pubs now.

Ignore reviews before December 2018 as the new management and staff have revitalised the pub completely. Service now delivered by friendly, helpful staff which makes for a welcoming atmosphere among the customers. The beer is well kept, well priced and complimented by a great selection of cocktails and spirits.

Rank beer, Sad Barman, glad I only stopped for the pint. Would have helped if the barman had given me only one pint of the hobgoblin not two rank ones.

Appalled to have been subjected to such blatant animosity. The ponytailed bartender was very terse when dealing with my order. The service can only be described as 'unsatisfactory.' He would benefit from some customer service training, no doubt about it. And also clean up that dead wasp in the bog.

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!

This used to be a lovely place and the Sunday lunch used to be really nice. They’ve decided to put the prices up and cut the portion sizes now, I questioned about the children’s meal size and apparently it’s tiny now it’s a different chef and wouldn’t even suit a 10 year old. So had to buy an adult portion. Even the 10 year old finished the adults meal! Will never return
