Fantastic breakfast, lovely local atmosphere and brilliant service. Would thoroughly recommend for a good old fashioned fry up and cuppa. Will definitely be coming back when we’re back in Swansea. Great value for money also!

Superb breakfast - hot, quickly server and plenty of it. Aptly called the "hippo" ( go large or go home eh), which for £9 inc a hot drink represents great value. Pleasant and friendly staff too. We'll be back! Thanks again guys.

First and foremost, the food here is terrific. Kath Craven sources good quality produce and it's cooked superbly. Best breakfast you could ask for, best bacon roll you'll ever eat. Secondly, this is a friendly place where people are made to feel welcome and part of the community. Thirdly, hygiene standards are impeccable, tables are suitably spaced out and Kath and her team are doing everything they can to safeguard customers at this difficult time. This cafe is easy walking distance from anywhere in Manselton and it's well worth the trip. Very highly recommended.

This is my second time visiting this gold mine of a cafe. Only had Breakfast Baguettes and they are absolutely amazing. So fresh and tasty. Staff are nice too

If you're expecting food fit for kings then you don't know what the purpose of a cafe is. It's a place to sit down, relax and fill yourself up ready for the day. It does that with flying colours. Opens very early which is great also. Lovely little cafe.

We visit here quite often and order the breakfast, we are never disappointed with quality or quantity of the food served. It tastes as good as it looks and the price is very reasonable. The tea and coffee tastes good too.

Typical greasy spoon with lovely food, well presented, clean, friendly and reasonable, keep up the good work.

went here with friends while visiting on holiday what a embarrassing mistake staff where spoken to like they were beneath you food was appalling did not eat it and the coffee and tea was clearly cheapest you can find the whole outlook of the place was terrible we would of been better off at burger king thought environmental health was suppose to look out for these type of places obviously this one slipped through the net a call to them was made

Cheap and cheerful Brekfast wont win any awards but I quite like this place its like stepping back in time .True its not a 5 star hygeine rating sort of place but it wont kill you .Staff are lovely

Well i don't know where to start really .For starters i don't know if the woman who owns or runs/owns this place is menopausal or just a fulltime monster. Me and my wife went for food and the guy behind the counter was obviously new . The way she spoke to him was absolutely disgraceful. Also my wife found a long dirty blonde hair in her food which was definitely not ours. From her attitude, we decided not to complain as neither of us like confrontation. My wife was reluctant to leave a review but i just had to as ive never felt such a cold atmosphere and we really felt sorry for this guy . That's all we could hear was her goading him. Really not good for buisness. If i could leave a no star review than I would, but there is no option to.

We visited just off cuff whilst out and about......will definitely go again. The choice is what you expect but the food was great, no grease floating on plate , hot and tasty and real mushrooms - not out of a tin !! Coffee awful - but we will still return .

Love this cafe, me and my friends used to pop in regularly for a English breakfast. Then I moved away :( hoping to pop back in soon when I visit.
