Travelled from south wales on our only child free weekend to recieve a terrible service! Arrived at 3:30 and the hot tub was freezing cold from the moment we got there! Tried to blame us for taking the lid off that it wasnt warm! Bed was unmade with no bottom sheet. Did not recieve an email with terms and conditions about bbq’s on the grass which id say having signs for people to see no bbq’s on the grass would be more obvious! Tried to fine us 100£ for the grass and 200£ for leaves being in the hot tub when i dont understand how you can avoid that if your in the hot tub most of the day/night with trees surrounding your pod! Just another excuse! We didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub! Filled us with excuses from the moment we got there promised the hot tub would be warm by 9 and then it went to theyll empty and refill with warm water instead, but that didnt happen! Also ignored any repsonsibility to answer our questions on when the hot tub would be useable! Could have saved ourselves £120 and stayed at home in our garden! Our third stay there and thats our thanks! Would not recommend or return!

Surfing the net to find an establishment to purchase a plant or two and discovered Honey Brook. Delightful spot with a friendly, accommodating host. Honest, delicious home cooking, presented in a relaxed atmosphere. Good range of items in the gift shop and a fair range of plants, mainly bedding and shrubs with , a dash of perennials on view. A refreshing visit and one that we will repeat soon. Many thanks.

Very good breakfast at a reasonable price, owner very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit just to meet Maisie the Manchester Terrier! Next time I'm in Wales I will consider making a detour to include this cafe.

Called in for lunch on way home from Aberystwyth. Have visited here many times under previous owners. The food on this visit was the best. Ordered Jacket potatoes, one with creamy bacon and mushroom, the other with creamy cheese and leek. Both were absolutely delicious and served with a beautiful tasty salad. All made fresh but not too long a wait. By the time we had drunk our coffees it was ready. Prices were very good. Mercedes and her staff were very helpful, and approachable. Nothing was too much bother. We were able to take the dog in, as she was unhappy being left in the car. Lovely little plant centre and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be calling in again next time we are passing. Thank you Mercedes and staff. June, Trudie and Sophie the Jack Russell.

We have used Honey Brook when the previous owners ran it for 3 or 4 years, as it has been taken over by the new managers about 3 months ago, we visited it again to see if the same level of service and quality of catering had been maintained and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the welcome and the relaxed but efficient service that we are given, we had tried two other locations and being half term in our area, they were packed out (great for the owners), so we decided it was an opportunity to check out the new set up Honey Brook. We will be back again in the near future.

This is a regular stop for breakfast on the way to Cardiff. Service is always quick and food is good value for money. Bonus if you manage to park outside as well.

Disappointed. Couldn't go inside because we had a dog. Only non-dairy milk available was oat and cold - so no hot chocolate or lattes or cappuccinos. I asked if it could be heated up but apparently it couldn't. It was a very cold day and we had to sit outside because we had the dog with us. After having read the reviews for this cafe I had great hopes but I was sadly let down.

It was a lovely pub and the food was excellent, cooked by Sue. We stayed for three nights in the biggest room so plenty of space to spread out. I can highly recommend. Will we go back? Definitely YES!

The food came out really fast, but was absolutely gorgeous. Full of taste, and just enough, not overwhelming, and I hate leaving food on a plate
