Greggs in Powys

Greg’s are having a problem with their sliding doors and someone is going to get hurt, all for a little oil on the runners. Just watched one person walk away. They will lose customers.

I took my grandchildren in here... left my purse with a lot of cash in... lots of cards..... it was closed when I realised I lost it... The staff kept it in the safe and contacted me via Social Media..... I could of cried with relieve..... Thank you

Service is so slow and the past couple of times I have been in I’ve been completely ignored at the till while staff do other things. I’d understand if there were minimal staff but there were three staff in on one of my visits, all of whom chose to do other things while a queue of us were waiting.

Seems to constantly have issues with the tills and app payments. Frequently closes early, for no obvious reasons, today was shut at 3.15pm on a Saturday afternoon! Coffee ok, donuts good, sausage rolls average.

Not had a Greggs for a LONG time so thought as on holiday would treat myself... TBH wish I hadn't, it wasn't up 2 par!

If you have ever been in Greggs, anywhere, thi is another branch. Exactly like the rest, do not epect anything else.

Have been here several times and had no issues with the staff. Today was different. After having selected a roll, sausage roll and crisps I asked for two doughnuts. He put the raspberry one in a paper bag and I then had to remind him about the other doughnut. Before he picked it I asked if Greggs had stopped using little boxes because previously I had been served with a doughnut in a paper bag and a lot of the icing stuck to the bag. He said ,"If you want a bag all you have to do is ask." I said,"I've never had to ask before. He then said,"There's a plastic window in the box so it's bad for the environment. ".Having examined the box I can see that it's recyclable.. I strongly resent being given a lesson on what's good for the environment when it is unjustified and all I want is to have a product remain in a consumable state when I get to eat it.

OK there but not 5 star far this one the service and choice at 115 in the afternoon not that good.

I visit Gregg's at llandrindod 3 days a week because the wife has dialysis at the hospital ,,, I go into this shop each time for a baguette and a coffee ,,, I can honestly say ,the staff are great very friendly and always happy ,,the shop is always very clean and tidy ,, keep the good work up ,and thanks for All you smiles,,

Really good gregs, however over the couple days I went in I had to wait for the vegan rolls and new vegan melt to be cooked. I just don't think they make enough in advance compared to everything else.

The park itself was OK, but the amenities and club houses were too small for the size of the park. Staff were great, but a few of the onside security guys must have been watching to much NCIS. All in all a ok stay away, but the village and beach is a total disaster.

After 2 hours of traveling we got to Llandrindod Wells and we found a Gregg's so it was time to top-up with a steak bake yes it's full of gravy and chunks of meat a coffee and a cake of your own choosing I had some fresh cream creation yummy. I must add that they have a good Vegan selection doughnuts to so let's not see you shy away and get those snacks in you. So always remember when traveling to call in at Gregg's. The member of staff was helpful and friendly and that just makes you're day so much better. After my refuelling it was time to continue the journey to Elan Valley forgot to mention the extra snacks to keep you going for the rest of the day.

I had a fully stamped free coffee card and a gift card, they charged me £3.10 for a pizza and latte on the gift card (well, they said put the gift card on the scanner before noticing the fully stamped coffee card). The pizza was cold as well, like you can buy it in a supermarket. It was good while I was waiting for my bus (10 minutes), but I wouldn't go again here

Sadly another disappointing visit. Waited for nearly 10 minutes to be served this morning. No apology but told sausage bap would take another 7 mins as they were in the oven. Heaving with customers at peak breakfast time should not be waiting for food to be cooked. All the labels were wrong so no way of knowing what you could order from the bakes section either. Just to add the floor was gross looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Took some time to get the food but that's just because it was busy, apart from that was good.

First time I've ever been to a Greggs, didn't know what to think because I've had mixed reviews from other people but it was surprisingly good, the food was tasty and the cappuccino packed a punch

losing loads of money never no stock lunch time and place is empty unless u want a soggy bean pasty. Nothing on the shelves. One member offered to make me up my order while another said I wasn't allowed. Joke of place and staff are muppets

Don't be put off by the long queues. They keep them moving and whip through them pretty quickly. Baked food, all very cheap, and tasty. Nothing like a steak slice on a cold day! Their sweet treats like doughnuts are less good. So sickly sweet, they taste of nothing but sugar. But if doughnuts don't interest you, Greggs is a great place for a cheap, quick meal.

Staff didn't want to talk whilst serving even though I tried my best to engage with them. Maybe because I am English and staying at the metropole. Young lad then started a conversation with a young lady and gave her free items. Won't be attending the shop today, disgusting .

This was our second visit. On the first visit, the service was flawless - warm and welcoming. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the second. No smiles, no welcome from the staff member who served us. However, we did have some interaction with a young lady with a darker complection: friendly, attentive, and helpful...this is how it should be done.

Called in here for a snack surprised to find they did breakfast baps they were excellent coffee was also very good staff were very welcoming. Margaret

Cheap, staff always cheerful, clean and very welcoming. The only downside is there's never enough tables. Greggs head office take note, you need to move to bigger premises.

It's greggs but chicken slices and steak ones used to have more meat. sausage rolls expensive for what you get but it fills a gap at lunch time.

Absolutely useless, no baguettes, no egg, no bacon, no vanilla in my vanilla latte, the lady seemed sorry though so that's aight I guess

My brother in-law and I were travelling south from Llanidloes to Crosshands along the A470 and decided to have a break at the Greggs cafe, about halfway into our journey. What a mistake. The cafe was grotty, dirty and unpleasant. The tables were loose and wobbled all over the place. At the counter we where " greeted" by an unpleasant woman in a dirty overall. As we were so tired and had been travelling for a number of hours, we decided to stay and make the most of a bad job. Looking at the food on offer was a huge disappointment, two corned beef pasties, a dried up sausage roll and several curled up pieces of pizza. We bought the pasties along with a cup of tea and a coffee. The tea was undrinkable and the coffee, which we had to wait for several minutes for, was foul. Biting into the pasties, we found them to be cold, and upon asking if we could get them heated, we were told that they were not allowed to do such a thing (?). We left feeling cheated and not very nourished, as our drinks went into the bin where they belonged. Never again.

A recent addition to food outlets in Llandrindod Wells which has rightly proved to be very popular. As part of the Greggs chain it provides their expected quality and service and is effectively the only outlet in the town available 7 days a week.

Good coffee and lovely cakes etc.

This is a neat and tidy chain cafe and as well as having the usual pizza slices, sandwiches and cakes, it has a small seating area where you can sit and window watch. Helpful staff and nice local vibe.

We were visiting the town and called here for some refreshments. We had 2 flat whites & I had a bavarian slice, which was tasty. Flat whites good too.
