WHAT A WARM WELCOME ! This is a little gem of a place . Great food & hospitality. we only stayed in Holyhead for one night after a late ferry from Dublin. we popped out for a quick drink to the Victoria Inn. Well we could not have been made more welcome . Great staff great locals & a wonderful atmosphere. will certainly stay there again

Terrible! The food was overcooked ( obviously been left under a heater far too long ) dried out vegetables with peas like shrivelled bullets. We would have complained but knew it would fall on deaf ears! The table we were given was dirty from the previous customers, and never once were we asked if everything was ok when food had been served. Also had to ask twice for cutlery twice after the food arrived. Needless to say, we couldn't finish our food ( really was that bad ). The only thing worse than the food was the disgraceful manners and aggressive attitude of the barman ( youngish lad with beard ) Absolutely no customer service skills and only became animated when showing off to other staff when turning customers away who he deemed to look underage ( it's a given that it needs to be done but you don't have to laugh about it and take the p!ss with other staff when you think other customers can't hear you! ) The pub itself looked lovely just let down by poor food and even poorer service!

Amazing people/dog friendly ( dog given meat from chef before we had even ordered 😁) Fab local pub just a short walk away from the marina / Newry beach. Great atmosphere, great Sunday traditional lunch, lots of quality meat choices and so many vegetables + Yorkshire’s and stuffing ! Visited in December ! Been here in summer and lovely drinks outside in sunshine . Very nice local with friendly family run staff and even lovely locals to share a pint with .

Went for all day breakfast at lunch time, food was brilliiant and we all cleared our plates. The coffee, tea and orange, which are advertised as as many refills as you want was lovely, at £8.50 excellent value. Would certainly recommend.

Wonderful warm welcome, no food as having the kitchens refurbed, still order a pizza for delivery in the pub which was groovy. Andy, the owner couldn’t do enough for us! So glad we parked our motorhome on Holyhead sea front!!

Absolutely charming place with really nice choice of brew, lovely atmosphere and friendly prices. Can't wait for them to start serving food, so we can come and check this out as well. :) We will definitely be visiting the pub more regularly now.

Simply the best. Best days were when Dawn and Tom ran it. Many fond memories. Opening times could be better, still a great pub, my local even though i live 300 miles away.

This clean and cosy little pub is just off the Newry Beach area of Holyhead. The drinks are good and not over priced as is the food. Just right for a light lunch between checking out what this wonderful area of Anglesey has to offer. Bonus of being dog friendly.

The Vic is an old fashioned but very welcoming pub filled with locals. Lagers and spirit are served with a smile. The pool table is a plus, 40p per game.

This was an added cruise port on a Sunday and pretty much everything was closed. We stumbled upon The Gleesons Public House and had a few pints and sang some karaoke. The staff was friendly and the beer was cold. They made the day!

I spent one night at the hotel for a business trip. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, the person who helped me was very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice with a good view.
