Tried to book for two days with no reply on phone or messenger . Turned up with my 5 sisters sat at the table to be told if anyone else comes in you'll have to give up your chairs!! Spent around £60 and was going to spend more on another coffee to be them told buly the same member of staff we had to give up our chairs as other people were coming in. We'd been there around an hour if that and spent a lot of money . Quite embarrassing. So there's six customers not going back !

First time here and was lovely, great coffee and a nice cake. We also had a Steak and Ale pie which was heated in the microwave but still very tasty. Overall was very nice and we will be back.

Upon walking in, I was really impressed by the decor and comfort. Sadly, that's where it ended. Ordered a coffee and steak pie. Wrong coffee order came, but to be fair to the waitress she apologised and rectified it immediately. The steak pie then arrived - not cheap either. Oh boy, to say it was inedible is an understatement. The pastry was cooked/microwaved and was absolutely rock hard. Way too hard to bite without breaking your teeth. Even the dog turned his nose up which never happens. On to the filling - no gravy whatsoever, it had all but dried up. So in all my lunch was 2 teaspoons of dry meat. I'll not be returning nor recommending Walters

Coffee and cakes nice, but over priced. The take away coffee cup is tiny! Decor is interesting, but the seating is uncomfortable and weirdly arranged. They could fit more people in more comfortably without the sofas in the centre. Service was slower than you’d expect

This was 3rd visit here .. the first 2 visits were great . This time however very disappointing.. iced coffee .. weak & watery, Lemon meringue dry & chewy.., steak pie doughy.. very overpriced ..we won’t be coming again ! Such a shame as this is a lovely dog friendly cafe we have been pleased to bring visitors to previously !

It's a lovey village location, the décor is okay, but not to my taste. I found it all a bit heavy and creepy, particularly the baby zebra suspended from the ceiling. Why? The coffee was lovely, and reasonably priced, I enjoyed it. However, the service was slow, and I waited several minutes at the counter with staff passing me numerous times, without acknowledging me. I was about to leave when I got served. Just a "sorry, I won't be a moment" is all that it would've taken to show you're busy, but you appreciate that I'm there and will be with me soon. I purchased cakes to take away, the order was wrong (which I didn't notice until I got home) and the cakes were okay, but I wouldn't buy them again. Maybe the café just isn't my particular preference, but I won't be visiting again and I can't recommend Walters I'm afraid.

Awesome place with nice staff, good quality everything and extremely zany decor. My four year old loved naming the robots! Only wish it was open later

As ever, an awesome visit to Walter. They are so friendly and attentive. Dogs are firmly welcome and the coffee and sausage rolls are to die for. I tried the bacon and maple butty today. Absolutely unreal!

My friend took us for a walk today round Kinnerton and afterwards took us to your beautiful coffee shop for refreshments. Not only did my feet welcome the rest after nearly 20000 steps but I was in my element with the stunning decor and food on offer. The staff were very friendly and they took a photo of our Charlie the Cockerpoo and put him on their wall of fame! What a lovely added touch! This went a long way and now we will be going back and looking for him on future visits. We had lovely sausage rolls and drinks which just hit the spot. On our way out we bought plants which were on sale and the proceeds were going to a local hospice. What a fabulous place. Whoever thought we’d go into a cafe and find safari animals! 11/10!!

What a find…. 1st visit today with friends & dog . Welcoming from start to finish. Simple but extremely tasty menu, we all had the sausage rolls with a modern twist definitely recommend. Quaint, well kept outdoor seating but the real gem is inside with what I can only describe as mix between stately home crossed with a museum and a zoo - tastefully decorated! Our 4 legged friend was treated like a king… doggy biscuits, fresh water and his very own Polaroid photo taken and put on the ‘Walters Wall’! Absolutely gem of a place and service to match! Nice touch outside selling potted plants with money going to local hospice. We will definitely be back .

I often stop for coffee and cakes at Walters. It has a cosy and quirky interior and wooden tables with umbrellas if you prefer outdoors. Aside from the wide array of cakes, savoury options are limited to pastries but all food and drink options delicious. In summer you can order beer and Prosecco, delightful to sit outside and enjoy. Not sure if this is available at moment. Pleasant friendly staff and a dog friendly venue.

Love this quirky little find. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, great coffee and cakes! As a fan of taxidermy it was unexpectedly wonderful to see Simon Wilson's balloon zebra and giraffe here. Our dog Dash also gives Walter's a 5 star rating!

This used to be a lovely place and the Sunday lunch used to be really nice. They’ve decided to put the prices up and cut the portion sizes now, I questioned about the children’s meal size and apparently it’s tiny now it’s a different chef and wouldn’t even suit a 10 year old. So had to buy an adult portion. Even the 10 year old finished the adults meal! Will never return

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!
