Silver's Cafe in Denbighshire

Visited for a breakfast after a long walk and the food was fantastic and great value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend the “Belly Buster” which was less than £8 with tea or coffee included !

After spending the morning shopping in Rhyl. We (the missus, my lad and myself) decided to stop for lunch. We spotted Silver's as we walked along and didn't expect much from the look of the outside. We were warmly greeted as we chose a table and sat down. The menu was good, with many different dishes to choose from. Payment was taken when ordering. Drinks arrived first and then after about 10 minutes the food appeared. It was freshly made and piping hot unlike some places I've visited. The food was to a high standard and very tasty. I cannot praise this establishment enough it is a jewel in what is a rather standard holiday destination. 10 out of 10.

Went into this cafe for a quick lunch and fed up of full English being the main thing to eat and noticed they did roast lunches. Said on the window freshly prepared so ordered roast beef chips and peas. All I will say is it was edible. Freshly microwaved saw them take little take away style boxes with food in and microwave them. It was cheap but you get what you pay for

Had a really nice mocha and couple of cakes. Fast service, nice staff and I bought a purple filet into the bargain !!

we come in for the first time while on holiday food wasnt that great customer service was pretty crap when we went to the toilet there was dirty chopping board and knife in customers area as well as 4 bags of open potatos hygine really isnt there thing at this cafe.

visited this lovely café yesterday. I went to get a hot chocolate to takeout and she opened the door for me she was so fabulous with me and the staff was lovely and so nice there a lady works there with a man and she was so lush to me she made me the most amazing hot chocolate ever it was amazing my partner had 2 of them . we decided to sit inside because we saw a dog sign on the window. when we went in she gave our dog some water in a bowl which was very nice of her we had 2 breakfast 2 tea. The breakfast was so amazing I wish I can give it more than 5 stars, the prices are reasonable and good offers I will definitely go there again when I go back to Rhyl

We love coming here when we are in wales I absolutely love the coffee and the freshness of the food and the service with a smile oh and also they welcome dogs which is a must for us 5 star and more

My favourite cafe, myself and family have been coming here for a couple of years now, plenty of choice on menu, try their omlettes, lovely, price is very good, staff go out of their way to help and are very kind to everyone, thank you.

Excellent service every time polite friendly & a warm welcome,food is the best in Rhyl by far & i wouldn't eat anywhere else but love eating at Silvers.Prices are very excellent & quality first class.

went to silvers cafe me and my partner for lunch had a very nice welcome by the owners they was very polite and nice to customers and are very nice people it is always clean and tidy cafe nothing is to much trouble for them they will help in way they can

We were on a coach trip to Rhyl and were looking for somewhere to eat and came across the Silver cafe. We decided to try the roast dinner we had to wait quite a long time for our meal but it was well worth the wait the food was fresh and cooked beautifully and good sized portions for a small price! There were 5 different freshly cooked vegetables plenty of meat a Yorkshire pudding and roast and mashed potatoes. Pudding was also delicious. I would definitely eat here again!

My family visited the cafe as a family day out in Rhyl and the overall experience was absolutely shambolic: the staff were horrible and were swearing when we asked for our money back: the food was cold and the fish was hard and it mostly batter the toilets were dirty and horrible: The worst meal my family has ever had SHOCKING

We had parked up in Prestatyn lido and walked to Rhyl. Our usual stop off unfortunately wasn’t open on a Sunday so we walked down high street and came across Silver’s cafe. I used to come here with my mum and young son 15 years ago! Staff very friendly. Food freshly prepared and great mug of tea. Excellent value. Nice to go back and will definitely return!

We were on holiday nearby And thought about have a prober sunday dinner What I call proper is real mash ,Not this powder rubbish you add water to and it looks like mash but no taste I had the chicken dinner with your 5aday veg with it My wife had the beef dinner And I had her mash as she dislikes it So a bonus for me But seriously everything was cooked to a very high standard I,m no Gordon Ramsay But everyone have their own idea how their meal should look and taste And the owner had 2 very satisfied customers with empty plates Silvers is a very good Café We have at least 1 visit there everytime we are in Rhyl If you want silver service book yourself a table at the Ritz or some other posh place But for a good bit of grub try this café Keep up the good food Silvers

very good staff and very nice food and always with a kind smile and very polite towards customers and always bring food on time unless busy but always there to help with inquires about food

My wife and I always go to silvers through the week we have various meals on a Sunday we have a roast dinner you get roast potatoes mash potatoes peas sliced carrots sprouts mashed swede cauliflower broccoli 3 _4 slices of beef or chicken or a pork chop gravy and a Yorkshire pudding mmmm just try and you will go back everything is cooked fresh

Dropped in for a quick meal and wasn't disappointed with the fare. We got excellent service and was treated like long lost friends. Would go back there again

Pretty typical "greasy spoon" type café: decent prices, friendly service and free wifi, and does the best ham & tomato omelette I've ever had. Love it in here. Would definitely recommend.

Called in today for a breakfast with the wife and kid it's not the first time we have been there my son loves there milkshakes we always have breakfast well today I had a burger and yes they had breakfast again and once again it was worth the little wait piping hot really filling and the staff are very friendly and willing to help

We went their for our late lunch. The OAP for my dad was good bargain. The food were lovely especially homemade yummy chips. The staff were trying their best but they worked so hard being friendly

Love a good breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. Fast friendly and good value food. Visited with my partner and our little one, we felt very welcome and would happily go again. If you want just good food without the faff this is the place.

We went into the silver cafe. Looked like a nice place to have some lunch. The service was quick and our food was cooked fresh. There was a few pieces of cardboard on the chairs saying don't sit down but we thought nothing of it. A soon as we sat down and started eating a lady came in clearly on some kind of drugs covered in her own faeces the smell was unbearable. The women had served her and she then sat down behind us on the cardboard. We went to the counter to complain the women didn't look the slightest bit bothered. We just put down our food and left. Never going there again.

What a gorgeous breakfast. Sausage were most tasty we have had in ages. All cooked to order. Well worth waiting for.

We enjoyed one of the menus all day breakfast options. It took a while but everything was cooked from scratch. Their sausages were lovely and overall the whole meal was very nice and great value for money. It was also quite quiet which, on a busy day in town was a pleasant break from the bustling street.

My sister and her partner and me had a massive brekki each here all cooked fresh and good quality local produce as we found out from the staff, friendly caring staff will definitely be using again,

We arrived on Friday at 4.40pm with 3 hungry children & asked what time they closed. The reply was 'when the last person leaves' which was music to our ears. We ordered 3 different children's meals and scampi, chips & peas for my husband and I. All the food was tasty, chips were real, and everything was eaten. The children were given a free cake at the end of their meal. Staff were very friendly and were clearly committed to making their customers happy.

We called in here last year with a friend from Prestatyn and found it to be very welcoming and the food was lovely. Decided to try again this year, taking our friend again. Each time the service has been so friendly, great value and very efficient. OK, so we had a bit of a wait but that was because the food is freshly cooked. I had the fish and chips, as did our friend, and they were excellent. My wife really enjoyed the all day breakfast.The pretty young lady taking our order was so friendly and helpful. The lady behind the counter was so helpful too. Nothing was too much trouble. It's a long way from York so we will not be regulars but we will certainly call in again when we visit our friend. my wife used the toilets and said they were clean and very acceptable. I wonder if the negative reviewers are expecting too much for the price.

Ordered plaice, chips and mushy peas with a cup of tea. Service was excellent, very efficient and friendly. Sadly the food was awful. the chips sat in a clump on the plate, they were soft, looked like they had been thawed before cooking and cooked in low temperature oil. The breaded coating on the plaice was hard and not crisp. Mushy peas and tea were excellent.

Have popped in here for a coffee before and the service has been quick and coffee alright but went here for a late breakfast one morning with my boyfriend and will not be returning. The food was mediocre (although again served quickly) but the toilets were disgusting. Obviously nobody had been 'in' to clean that morning and it REALLY showed. This has put me off visiting there again entirely now as I worried the kitchen may also not have been thoroughly cleaned.

visitied this cafe for the first and last time went in first thing i noticed was the smell stale fat in the fryer i asked for a cappucino and a coffee both served in a tall glass fhe cappucino was disgusting the froth lasted about two seconds then we ended up with a normal coffee .Both drinks cost us £3.15 a lot of money for a terrible drink .my mum went to use the loo only to find there was no toilet paper in the bathroom i hope the staff dont use that one .plenty more cafes in rhyl avoid this one .

We found this cafe when we were looking for somewhere for our breakfast as it was not included in our hotel, It had a specials board out side bogoff breakfast. so we popped in and had a fantastic breakfast, for 2 for less than £6.00 so we went back on the Sunday morning again and had breakfast and a chat with the owner who was very nice and gave us a top up of tea would highly recommend.

Had lunch here with friends and have to say it was an experience! The place was freezing and could have done with some heating, the girl that took our order I'm not sure if she was new or not but I don't think that job was for her, she was lovely but seemed totally lost, the food was only ok, I have to say though the chips were proper home made chips and were yum but that's about it, unfortunately we were able to hear a conversation between a staff member and another girl talking about very personal issues and we did feel a bit awkward, I would suggest that private conversations he had in private, we do not need to hear about people's medical issues

Good to see this place up and ru nnning again in Rhyl high street. staff always pleasant, and food is always served well. clean and tidy place.
