We came for lunch and had the tempura lemon sole and chips and it’s probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Really nice pub with nice decor and big pub garden.

Amazing location and perfect if you need a general get away from the hustle and busle of every day life. Great bar and restaurant staff, very welcoming and accommodating. Food is fantastic and there is a great vibe in the bar and beer garden areas. The room was great, lovely bedding and a smart TV which is always very useful. Only thing that let the room down slightly was the low shower pressure. Overall great stay, would come again!

Lovely Sunday lunch, lamb was beautiful and a real treat. Slight snag that veg came out after the main meals by 5 minutes and dessert selection was quite limited. If these service issues are sorted it would be a perfect score of 5

Overall average experience. We’d booked a table, but it wasn’t ready at the time we booked for, and had to stand around for 15 minutes before it was sorted. It wasn’t exactly busy. Food was average, and felt like it had been left out for a bit as meat was dry, we also had some foil in one of the dinners. Apart from that the vibe was nice and dog friendly. I’d go again, but wouldn’t go out of my way.

Disappointed with the quality of food, overcooked, tasteless, service was below standard, had to clear main courses dishes myself before dessert, in the annex and no table service so getting up & down for drinks, coffee and to order dessert. Waiting too long to be served, goodness knows how they going to cope in the peak season. You have to improve or you will have more reviews like mine

Village pub torn between serving the upper crust of visitors and the locals/people with a lot less money. Great selection of ales and lagers, food is always very good but gets way too busy in peak season. Most tables are booked up early, so we have often gone in, and there's lots of empty tables with booked signs, but no one on them! Feels a bit like they are trying to please certain clientèle at the expense of us lowly working class families and locals.

First night in Llanbedr, and we went into The Victoria Inn for food and drinks shortly after our arrival. We were made to feel welcome, and when we asked about a table for food, we were advised where we could sit. I had the Harissa Beef Stew off the specials board, and it was lovely, so full of flavour. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely Robinson's pub that we were recommended to visit for dinner by the team over at Wilderness Cafe in Harlech. Great vegan options (make sure you ask if you can't see the menu or the vegan board). I had the most delicious vegan falafel curry - which I'll be honest sounded a bit random to me at first, but was absolutely beautiful. Homemade falafel as well! I liked it that much that I could wait for the rest of it to cool and burnt my mouth, haha! Team behind the bar were great, too. Very cosy pub with beaut decor. Thank you for having us :) (P.S. love that I've come all the way from Stockport and still managed to find myself in a Robinson's, lol)

A small Welsh Country pub has absolutely no right to serve food this tasty. The Almond and chicken curry, and the beef and chorizo chilli were unbelievable. Annoyed I've found this on holiday so I can't come more often.

We had lunch at this nice pub with a cosy atmosphere, good food and abundant portions! The Welsh rarebit is meant to be a starter but it's like a main plate. The battered sole is so tasty! My wife was so pleased with her chicken and almond curry. I would have preferred a wider variety of ciders, especially local ciders, but still 5 stars for me! Also, big dedicated car park.

Awful room,pathetic after complaint service.200 pounds for two nights in a tiny and jaded room.loud music and the owner did not want to know about complaints.He was rude and arrogant. We will never stay again. Not even worth 1 star. AWFUL.Truly dire.

The food was just like my mother cooked, excellent mouth watering a similar phrase was heard all over the restaurant. Will I return if it wasn’t over one hundred miles away I would be there every Sunday. We will be back in Barmouth in the spring so Sunday lunch is sorted in advance.

Beautiful inn in Llanbedr. We are staying in a very remote cottage about 20 minutes drive from the village of Llanbedr. The pub is lovely both inside and out. Very cosy and clean with the added benefit that it's dog friendly. Service is excellent and the food is amazing! We had: Kids cheeseburger Charcuterie board (to share with some sides) this is not on the main menu. It's on the specials board Homemade chilli con carne Mushroom linguine (from the specials board) Burger Great portion sizes and excellent quality ingredients. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We travelled about one and a half hours to eat there at lunch after researching the net, to only find a chalkboard outside saying "food served here" kitchen is closed today until 5pm! Some days kitchen does not open at all !!. It is a long way out with little or no other choices to not be clear on the Internet. Very Very disappointed.

We were in Llanbedr for a large sporting event and despite being part of a large group the service was brilliant from the moment we walked in and ordered a drink, to the staff serving the tables, and the food was on the table quickly and was delicious. I would highly recommend you consider eating or drinking here when you’re in Llanbedr.

Went in for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Food was just stunning. Beautiful interior and exterior grounds next to the river were idyllic. Will definitely return.

We aren’t staying in the rooms, although the food is insanely good and the service is perfect. Would definetely eat here again

After a fairly long journey to our holiday destination, we decided to have dinner in the evening at The Victoria which was a short journey from where we were staying. Despite being a Sunday evening, it was very busy and is obviously very popular. The atmosphere was very good and welcoming. We were taken to our table straightaway and our order taken quickly. The food was very good and reasonably priced. If we were staying in the area longer, we would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful pub with delicious food, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Love that our furry friends were also welcome. Bar service a little slow but other than that it was absolutely perfect!

Stunning location and beautifully decorated, we had a veggie roast, there was only two sausages and a tiny portion of vegetables to share for £15 a head! Had to ask for the Yorkshire puddings that were included too! What there was of it was delicious but needed more, I’m still hungry!

Very welcoming place - a proper “inn” that has rooms also. Lovely staff, great food and ale. The veggie breakfast is great (and I am not vegetarian). Definitely put on your short list if you come this way and need a place to stay!

Ate out here with the family for an evening meal. Wasn't too busy (5.30pm).. staff were very attentive and food was good. I had the halloumi and mushroom burger, nice! Pubs decor was obviously themed Queen Victoria, which I loved. Thank you

Went to 'The Vic' for food with the wife which was first class. Did not see or stay in the rooms so cannot rate but what I did see of the restaurant, I can imagine they were high quality. Recommended l

I am absolutely gutted at the quality of service and food when visiting with my family at the end of the season. We were looking forward to visiting, spent a lot of money, to be treated with disregard, met with disinterest regarding allergies and excuses for poor food and service.

Beautiful location and beer garden is excellent and soon gets busy on a sunny day. Another bonus is it has a good play area outside for kids. The food was delicious and couldnt fault it but the service was nothing special.

Refurbishment has worked well. Better layout and good service. Good pub food and adequate beer.

We were staying at a local campsite and had a table booked here for 5pm on a Friday evening. The initial service was pretty poor in my opinion, it wasn't welcoming or friendly, we were vaguely shown to our table and had some menus chucked on it. The guy was already gone by the time we came to sit at it with our 3y.o in tow! Unfortunately 2 tables of 9 arrived just after us and were causing absolute carnage at the bar, but they were particularly ignorant which didn't help. To say they were 2 tables of 9, it felt like they ordered about 35 drinks and in the meantime the queue got longer and longer. After finally getting served I could start to hear other people chuntering about the wait times. The bar service did get better as the evening went on as a few less miserable, fresh faces arrived behind it. The menu doesn't have a huge selection - our food was good but not particularly amazing. My wife's steak was well cooked but very fatty and I had scampi, which let's face it you can't really get wrong, as I didn't fancy anything else on the menu. The (quite steep) bill didn't reflect the quality of the food in my opinion. They have a small play area out the back for kids which is nice, it allowed us to enjoy a final drink in (relative) peace and the evening sun for 20 minutes or so. It is in a nice setting and I'd definitely go again for a few drinks, but probably wouldn't eat there.

Lovely refurbishment. Great value food. Edit: this time round we had a bad experience. Our order was wrong and when it was brought to their attention, they didn't get back to us until we got their attention again, then were told we had asked for what we were given. Also, the system for ordering food and drink is highly susceptible to bottle necks, as there is only one bit of bar for every service requirement. In addition, our dirty plates weren't taken away, so when the desert came, there was little room to put them. When you're spending hundreds of pounds, you expect better. The food was OK, sometimes very good, sometimes not so good. The pate was rather spicy, but nothing too indicate this on the menu.

Stopped in here twice, once for drinks and the other for Sunday lunch. The venue and staff are nice but the food is sub par. I overheard one lady complain the chicken was tough. The vegetables we had with the two meals we ordered were microwaved or boiled to oblivion, too soft and tasteless. When leaving we walked past a table with four plates on it with over half the Sunday roast left. Seems like no one really enjoyed the food here. Limited vegetarian options too.

We turned up on a busy Sunday for lunch and were accommodated even though they were super busy. The surroundings are beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, the food was absolutely fantastic

absolutely beautiful food!! was staying near the pub and decided to eat there on the last night… we arrived 45 minutes early and they seated us and let us eat straight away. service was incredible and food arrived extremely quickly tasting amazing. my mum said it was the best burger she’s ever had:) we’re planning to go back and stay at the accommodation. superb food and definitely recommend!!!!

Lovely food, vegetarian options too. The Sunday lunch is delicious.Beautiful garden with a stream running by. A nice adventure playground for the children. Dogs are welcome. Calm staff, calm atmosphere. I recommend this place.

Used to go to the Victoria a lot, but hadn’t been for a few years. Popped in earlier this week at lunchtime for a quick drink and a sandwich only to find that they no longer do soup, sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. It all seemed to be modern ‘gastro’ stuff with a price to match. It was an expensive lunch compared to how it used to be. Still a nice place and very clean and tidy but way too expensive to call in too often. I think a lot of people must feel the same because it was pretty quiet compared to how it used to be especially as it was a nice August day. I won’t return in a hurry, not at lunchtime at least.

We just dine in and it was a lovely experience with a nice atmosphere.

We called in for late lunch on the off chance of getting a table with 5 adults and 3 dogs! We were very lucky and secured a seat in the bar area. I would deffo recommend booking! The food was delicious, I had lamb roast dinner and the meat was so tender its the best I've ever had and in plentiful supply. We all enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately as we were holidaying we won't be back for a while but will definitely return and wont forget! Congratulations to the staff 😊

Popped along for a cheeky evening pudding. It's a lovely venue. Each and every time we've been the place has been busy - always a good sign! The puddings were, well, lets just say they reflected the price and really were outstanding. We will most certainly be back! Finally, the addition of card and boardgames was a lovely touch for what is truly a great pub. Well done The Victoria Inn!

Lovely Pub right next to the river, dog friendly and a lovely little play area for smaller kids. Also a decent covered outside seating area. Nice choice of Ales. Food was excellent 👌 and served very promptly considering how busy it was. I had the Angelsey burger and it was beautiful. Staff were very polite and they were non stop clearing tables collecting glasses. Well run pub lots of parking over the road top marks from me .

Lovely food, nice garden and pretty stream running down the side. Kids and adults meals were all delicious, the chips were especially good.

Plenty of choice on menu, had to book a table for another night as fully booked as a walk in.
