Nice pub but I think it is one of the most expensive pubs in denbigh

Always friendly service, welcoming atmosphere and well kept drinks at the Masons.

Called in Saturday, rude bar staff , shame had some nice people working there previously

A lively, friendly, local pub . Some good beers in pleasant surroundings. Shows most big sports events on big screens . Regular entertainment. Well worth a visit.

Lovely welcoming pub. Drinks were excellent and staff very friendly.

We went on the monthly open mic night- nice mix of folk guitar and big singers....good pool table and great welcoming staff- plenty of welsh whiskies and gins on offer !!

A little gem in Denbigh. The staff are excellent and a great atmosphere. Brilliant spot to enjoy a drink have a catch up and watch live sport when it's on.

Great pub but someone really needs to sort out the terrible choice of background music.

A good lively local, plenty of hand pulls to choose from, great for a spot of darts. Not sure if they serve food but you definitely get a good pint!

I visited the masons on Saturday (26/09/2020) the atmosphere was great and football was on. Overall great night but the middle age woman who served us was unpleasant and rude to myself. When ordering another round of drinks and changing my drink from what I had the previous round, she was abrupt and impolite when cutting across from what I was saying. She vocalised her frustration by saying “shut up you’re confusing me”. I understand that working in a pub at this moment in time can be stressful to say the least. I would like to add, she would have been rather upset if the roles were reversed and I had spoken to her in that manner.

Many times have stopped off here and was always welcomed, good food and drinks can be enjoyed here. always a good place to enjoy watching international games on tvs there and a good stop off point for local rugby and football games.

Called in here last Friday (06/06/18) . To watch the second half of the world cup quarter final, excellent pint, very good service, big screen for the football and very clean facilities .

Very friendly place, some week ends if not every week there’s live music , a great place for a night out . Great staff

Great for a night out, usually a band on at the week end. If your a visitor at the week end , it’s a nice place for a drink . Gets busy .

My wife is an ex resident of this town and we decided to head into the Masons for a pint on the way back to her family home. Being someone who likes a pint of different ale I tried the Beachcomber- I immediately noticed the smell of yeast and the beer was off - the bar staff looked to the landlord who asked him and he said it was fine - apparently in there the landlords desicion was final and when I asked the staff what the landlord drank to check his ale knowledge, I was told- a pint of Chinese- (half lager/half beer) that then became clear- he wouldn’t know an off pint of ale if the expiry date was written in capitals across the front of the label. Not a pleasant experience.

Good choice of local beers and micro brewery beers ,also spirits,a little more expensive than other pubs in this town,never been in a pub with so many tv,s,has darts ,domino teams etc

The Masons has gone from strength to strength, they show most major sporting events and host live music, the team also offer the added touch where possible, such as much needed half time refreshments.This pub really steps up the level in Denbigh. The only down side would be the time it can take to get severed, (which is most likely a problem for all good pubs), and more seating would be beneficial for busier events. The Masons is constantly improving and the effort that is put in really shows. I'd recommend putting a TV in the beer garden in time for the Euros!
