Costa Coffee in Denbighshire

For me, coffee ☕️ to expensive. To be honest, everything is too expensive, basically jumping on the ban wagon. Let's deliberately over charge everyone else is doing it, so why not costa coffee

Costa coffee is always good . Their coffee is not too strong. Their cakes are fresh and tasty but I won't give them 5 stars because I think their prices are too high.

Poor coffee the flat white wasn't strong enough bacon bap not cooked well enough

Visited this store on Saturday 20th January and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The store was really busy but the staff were all smiles and kept the tables clear so new customers could sit down. This Costa is well worth a visit

Quite noisy, but lovely staff, very helpful, super coffee. Not everything available, but then again, it was later in the day.

Not very good as we were sitting in with a group of mates with bought drinks and got kicked out and threatened to get called on by the police for just having a nice drink of hot choclate with my mates not the best experience but food and drink is good but not service x

I always order a cappuccino with syrup. Alot of the time syrup is forgotten and the cup is over flowing which means no froth.

Amazing festive roasted Hazel hot chocolate and great coffee too. Nice place to take a break from the hectic Christmas shopping.

This place awesome minus the lady who has Jo clue what she's doing puts me drink in the wrong cup and doesn't add chocolate sprinkles the lad that works here is amazing even remembers my order

Well what can I say, I absolutely love Costa any opportunity to go there. I feel comfortable when I sit with friends or by my self. The staff are lovely chatty and throughly a pleasure. The cakes are to die for especially lemon tart which goes down quite well. Keep it up Costa 😍.

This used to be our local Costa, however we moved a bit further on but we still drive the extra few miles to visit this one as the staff are extremely friendly, polite and are very good at their jobs. We go so often they even know what drinks we want and how we like them. Which you don’t get usually from other coffee shops. The staff always make time to chat whilst preparing your drinks, speed of service is great. Coffee shop is always clean with plenty of customers and a good atmosphere. Drinks are always made correctly and taste great. I highly recommend this Costa, I would avoid the Costa in Rhyl high st and Marina Quay at all costs having visited them numerous times and had bad experiences everytime.

Ed the Miserable man who works there was Rude to all 7 of us who attended for a meet up outside. We are on Holiday so it kind of spoiled it. He really is miserable I work for premier inn so I understand the way you are supposed to treat customers, he really isn’t a good representative for your company..

Only popped in for a coffee whilst waiting for a shop to open after doing the school run. Service with a smile and made to feel very welcome 😊 Very clean coffee house and a good vibe about the place. Various different people there, some meeting friends, some business, some alone just chilling and some working on a laptop. Also had a voucher to use up on the app 😃

It always annoys me that I have to put my milk in my tea before it's had a chance to brew. A pot and milk jug would be better and make me feel better about paying £2.15 fof a teabag, some boiling water and a spot of milk

I love coming here to Costa they all know me here l don't have to say what l want they say it for me ..the staff are friendly polite snd coutious to me ..and they make beautiful Americano coffee me.. the food is excellent to.

Arranged to meet here with work colleagues for a quick meeting this morning at 8.45am. We checked the website yesterday and it said it was open and showed the opening times. Myself and a colleague turned up first only to be told by workmen that the place was closed. We then had to try and contact our other colleagues to tell them not to turn up there as they were closed. Mayhem ensued with people all over the place. We ended up going to The lovely clean Marks and Spencers Cafe instead and spent our money there and will do in future as Costa can't even be bothered to put the correct information on their website!

Had a lovely decafe cappuccino here and really enjoyed it.

I usually love going to Costa. But the last few visits, the food and drink offering is not as good as it used to be. The prices have gone up, but the quality just isn't there. The premises are grubby and look like the place could do with a deep clean. Today in Prestatyn, a few sad looking cakes and some over priced toasties and balms where on offer. We purchased some raspberry slices, which on eating, where dry and stale. Got our money refunded. Hot chocolate was disappointing too. No cream, they had run out. Hear this a lot at Costa. Will I go back? I don't know. Do they care? Probably not.

Love costa my go to place for chai latte fix but our last couple of visits have felt the seating areas appear grubby and tables left uncleared.

Big and spacious. Seating inside and outside. Always busy. Usual Costa fare but the staff, one lady in particular with dark hair, was really friendly and helpful - just little things like splitting our payment and whatnot. Little things that she could have easily huffed about and watched us faff around with. Shame I didn't get her name but thank you, whoever you are! Edit: Her name is Sianna!

My favourite coffee shop, had my usual latte, delicious 😋 Update still the best coffee shop on earth, wouldn't go anywhere else, love to collect the beans too and enjoy a free coffee with my Hubbs. If your a coffee lover they will make it to your desired taste, plenty of choices with an excellent snack menu. What's not to like. Start collecting your beans and enjoy their flavoursome coffees ☕

Good service and average food, prices are creeping up. Tables could be cleared quicker.

A big thank you to Sharna ( hope that's the right spelling) for helping me track down the expensive apple airpods I left behind. Took a few days but they turned up and I could tell how much Sharna wanted the right result rather than pay lip service to my request. Many thanks for your efforts it was really appreciated

Visited Costa with family and friend today (Bank Holiday Monday). Coffee is always perfect! Ed and the staff are so efficient they are amazing.I seriously don't know how they do it! Keep up the good work and see you all soon 👍

Prestatyn's Costa is a brilliant place. The staff are all lovely and so helpful. There are always a great choice. The food and drinks are great.

I have just had the most pleasant and helpful service from assistant Zoe who came out to serve me outside where I was with Amelie, my French bulldog. Not only was she pleasant, helpful and happy but she had a beautifully Welsh musical laugh! Glad we came and promise to revisit. Keep up the great work!

I visit this Costa a lot, whether it’s coffee with a friend or taking something out with me while I’m shopping, I’ve never had a bad experience until the other day, as I was ordering my drink with the man at the till, he was in fact very nice, I picked up a packet of chewing gums at the same time as paying for my coffee, I put that packet back as I noticed I already had a pack in my bag, next minute the girl that worked there came up to me and accused me of taking that packet of chewing gum! She was rude and obnoxious and after I proved her wrong I didn’t even get an apology. I don’t normally write reviews like this because I worked in hospitality myself and I know how stressful and long some shifts can be but I have never been spoken to the way that girl spoke to me. Think she needs some lessons on how to speak to customers in the correct manner.

Really good team of staff in there. Someone dropped their drink and they sorted them out a new table and got them a new drink.

Could do with a good clean, I thought they were ready for Halloween but then realised that the cobwebs were real, would have left straight away but took me a while to free myself from the sticky table and seat.

One of the very best Costas we have been to (and we've been to hundreds). Visited in the morning on 7th Oct 21 and served by 3 of the friendliest young ladies ever. A fast , friendly service with smiling faces . Food and drinks brought to our table. Also noticed extremely fast cleaning of tables once vacated. If every Costa worked like this we would never bother with Competitor stores

Standard Costa offerings in a retail park setting. Staff were friendly and brought our order over once done. We ordered coffee and toast which they made pretty quickly. Nothing to fault with this establishment.

Visited today! Staff pleasant & friendly, but apart from that where do I start. The male barista didn’t use the handle when putting the knives on my tray, instead he picked it up by the blade (very unhygienic), hence we didn’t use them. The tray that our drinks and and plates were on hadn’t seen a cloth for weeks. The teaspoon was disgraceful and heavily stained. We sat outside, there was an ashtray on the table that was full, suggesting the tables obviously hadn’t been cleaned for a long time! Costa, these standards aren’t acceptable any time, but in the middle of the current health crisis, I would really have expected ultra clean!! Costa, you need to up your game!!!
