Posto bellissimo, tipico, proprietario gentile, cibo squisito: zuppa pesce favolosa, mussels da sogno , fish and chips da ricordare. Veramente un posto che merita. Bravi, bravi, bravi.

Visited 3 times in 5 days and probably spent more on coffee than we did on merchandise (and Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). Excellent coffee, lovely cake selection and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. View to the Cairngorms outstanding and our doggy companions most welcome.

Sólo entré por una cerveza y me fui. Estaba pintado de negro. El personal de un bar muy pequeño parecía que se habían levantado sin hacer nada. Todo el mundo parecía deprimido.

Esperé 25 minutos para revueltos y tostadas y cuando llegó hacía frío. Obviamente se olvidaron de servirlo como la gente a nuestro lado que se sentó 5 minutos antes de nosotros había horneado patatas inmediatamente. Lo llevé de vuelta al mostrador, lo recuperé en 5 minutos y obviamente se sometió a microondas, ya que era como goma, y la tostada ahora estaba fría y también como goma! Señora que nos sirvió la segunda vez era muy blasé, y acaba de cepillarse, así que no vamos a volver en el corto plazo

Be careful, the bar only serves drinks, but NO food, but the bar itself is very nice

What on earth has happened to the Plockton Inn? Where have the locals gone, along with the atmosphere? Where has the affordable food and drink, and real ale gone? We’ve been coming to and staying in Plockton for decades, although our last stay was after a few years gap, and whilst a visit to the Inn was usually a highlight of our trip, once over the door it turned out to be an avoidance this time! Everything that made the place in the past has gone, even the person behind the bar felt embarrassed when he took the huge chunk of money for our drinks, and suggested the food has gone in the same direction! Hardly anyone in the place, all the atmosphere of a railway waiting room, and eye watering prices. It appears that even the locals have decanted to the excellent Plockton Hotel. Nice clean refurbishment but a huge disappointment and anticlimax! Owners, sort it out please, you’ve ruined a wonderful place!

We ordered Paninis and Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, which were very delicious. The portion and price were acceptable for a tourist area. The business was very good, and we had to wait for 10-15 minutes. There was a toilet inside, but it was only for guests.

Unfortunately a big downgrade from 2022 to 2024. Stayed here in March 2022 and back then this would have been an easy 5 out of 5 for the food (had multiple breakfasts and dinners here) and the rooms were good as well. I returned twice after this and compared to my first stay the food quality and portion size has gone down considerably and from what I could see room prices went up as well. Made some good memories here but won't return. #sadface

The nicest place in Garloch to sit outside and dine on a sunny day, beside a river, amongst beauriful grounds. Food was delicious and well prepared. Service was excellent considering there wasnt many serving staff working, would come again.

Gran lugar para aquellos que buscan algo un poco alternativo o un descanso bienvenido en el GGW. Muy cálida bienvenida a los visitantes y una gran oferta de sopa, ensalada, café y pastel, todo lo cual era delicioso.

Beware of Bandits. Very expensive drinks and very poor food. Portion sizes and quality very low with prices very high. This was once a decent stopping point whilst touring the highlands . The traditional bar has made way for a soulless boutique style hotel. Utter crap, wont be coming back . Mustn't forgot to mention the service charge added to the already inflated bill..

Pasé aquí toda la noche en nuestro viaje de la Costa Norte 500. El alojamiento era excelente y también la cena y el desayuno. El personal era muy servicial y nada era demasiado problema. Catered muy bien para mi esposa que no tiene gluten. Muy agradable para nuestros dos perros pequeños.

Basic pub at the back with pool table, juke box, dart board and 1 screen for sky sports. Beer was ok but limited seating available

Great food and very dog friendly. Made welcome from the minute we walked through the doors. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are not salubrious but comfy and clean. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for having us 🤗🐾
