Dog friendly with great food options. Service was fast. There is also a wide selection of other items for sale, will be back again when I'm next up for more soaps! (They smell amazing!)
Stopped for a piece of cake and a cup of tea. It was a lovely, easy quick stop on our journey and we enjoyed it very much. The almond and cherry cake was delicious.

As an Asian Stomach, we came in with an expectation, but the food is sadly disappointing.
- Sweet and Sour Pork -
Pork was not freshly prepared, no juiciness. Proportion of flour is so much higher than meat. The sauce is sour than normal, lack of wok hei too. Charging 18 pounds for this is off value than ordering from neighbouring takeaway shop. Rice is served but not warm enough.
- Wok Fried Noodles with Char Siu -
This is definitely not char siu, which is misleading to fellow Asian. Just simply Tesco Pork belly slides with some char siu sauce. Portion is small. Totally not worth 18 pounds. Coming from London this is a rip off.
Server and interiors did tried their best to maintain the high end Chinese food impression. But the food is certainly far from a satisfactory level.
If you want a cup of tea at a nice Asian restaurant, this is fine. But for its food, consider other options/cuisine.

I had the falafel wrap and a drink. The service was great the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately for me the falafel wrap was lacking a lot of flavour and dry, it could use a bit more in terms of spices and sauce, maybe both tahini and a hummus together, the fresh and pickled vegetables were good. Might be helpful in the future to ask for extra sauce.

Excellent place, a little far away but totally worth it, the food is excellent, the atmosphere and the service too, but if you wear a raincoat if you go on a motorcycle
Visited here with my son while doing a tour in Scotland , what a lovely place. Certainly worth a visit if you’re in the area and have some nice food and gift shop as well.

The Aurora hotel was the exact experience that my family needed. After bustling around Edinburgh for 3 days, it was nice to slow down in this relaxing and safe seaside village. The Aurora is owned and operated by a friendly English woman and Italian man. The combination makes you feel like you are visiting your own relatives. The bathroom and room were very clean. If you are an avid traveler that enjoys the simple pleasures of delicious food and great conversation, then don’t hesitate to book. We will never forget our warm stay and exquisite dinner at the Aurora.
What a disappointment after reading the positive reviews and then experiencing it yourself. First of all, the prices are not the problem, the atmosphere is okay, I would prefer to hear more appropriate background music. Service fine, but it's all about the food. Starters were tasty, fried snacks. Main courses lacked all taste due to lack of herbs and fresh vegetables. Chicken was quite tender. However, you want to taste that Thai Pad Thai and then a plate full of rather tasteless strings with some peanut crumbs and pieces of vegetables and chicken next to it is not what reminds me of Thailand.
