Visited here for lunch with friends and today for coffee ourselves. Food was great and service friendly & efficient. The setting is idyllic with lots of "Heilan Coos" willing to pose for photos. Six of us (3 adults and 3 children) stopped for lunch on 13th May and we were not disappointed. Service was great and the food was delicious. Great selection and I loved that the kids sandwiches came with fruit and Lentil crisps. We were lucky enough to get the table with the views of the horses outside which my kids loved. Highly recommend. Was an expensive lunch for us, however I felt each item was reasonably priced and it was just a higher amount due to the amount of food and drinks we ordered between us. We were on holiday and would definitely go back next time we are visiting loch ness.

Four of us and our dogs had a wonderful visit to The Cameron’s Tea Room on 17/95/21. Wonderful welcome, special COVID procedures carried out discreetly so that we felt completely safe. Food was delicious with a wonderful GF pear cake. It’s still rare to get home baked GF cakes on menus so this was a bonus. Such a treat to be able to visit and enjoy such a place again. Thank you.

We stopped by Cameron's Tea Room as recommended by the owner at Loch Ness riding centre. We managed to get a table outside in the sun. Having run out of lentil soup I was asked if I wanted vegetable or mushroom, I should not have hesitated.. the vegetable soup was the tastiest vegetable soup I have eaten (I would love to know your recipe). Beautiful setting and quick and friendly service with good covid protocols in place. If I am in the area again I will definitely return.

Lovely little spot for a coffee and cake. We were taking the low road round the East of Loch Ness and came across this place so it was only a flying visit. However, the vibe seemed lovely, the premises was really well set up, and the surroundings were lovely. Everyone was then very jealous of our coffee when we were at the nearby waterfall. Recommended.

Visited the tea rooms this afternoon with my husband and children, whilst my husband was queuing to buy food and drinks the children were sharing some sandwiches and drinks , they were hungry and there was quite a queue so they wanted something while they were waiting. A member of staff approached us telling me that we were not allowed to picnic on their grounds, I explained that my husband was waiting in the queue to buy food and drinks and the children were hungry and wanted something while they were waiting, I even pointed to my husband waiting in the queue. She then went back into the shop and began mocking me in front of the other customers, staff and my husband. My husband attempted to place an order however she repeatedly told him that the children couldn’t eat sandwiches and wouldn’t allow him to place an order. We left feeling completely humiliated, the customer experience is clearly not a priority here. And for the record there is no sign saying only food purchased in the tea room can be eaten on the premises

We found Cameron's a few years ago now when staying at a local lodge. We have now returned several times in the past 3 years and each time been to Cameron's.We were passing by last week on a quick visit to inverness and couldn't miss the opportunity to stop in for lunch, we hadn't booked in advance but thought we would chance it anyway. We were greeted by Morag as friendly as ever and i don't know how she does it but she remembered us right away (and we had masks on). We were lucky to get a seat and ordered some lunch, service was quick and the baked potatoes were delicious and a generous portion size. For us the cost was great value for money, when you take into account the surroundings, the fresh produce and service.I personally have not been anywhere since lockdown began but i felt so relaxed here with the set up they have. This time is difficult for everyone and Morag and the team are doing an amazing job.We will be returning in 9 weeks and I cant wait.S&J

We are regular visitors to this fantastic tea room. The reason's are obvious - great service, friendly, personable staff and great faye served in a clean, comfortable welcoming atmosphere. No matter whether its, lunch, mid morning coffee or afternoon tea the drinks are always fresh, piping hot and served with a smile from Morag and her great team. The cakes are homemade and delicious (very berry loaf slice today)! The hot choc delievers because it does what it say's on the tin - full of taste, and contains chocolate - not some wishy washy rubbish that flew by the cup before being served to the customer! My coffee is always excellent too, tasting as it should with depth and flavour. Camerons Tea Room deserved its continued success because they have kept to the same ethos as described above - great service, great staff and great produce. Full disclosure: I am local to the area and frequently visit Cameron's. It's my favourite local place for lunch or coffee and cakes. It was a hot day today so I tried something different: the goat's cheese salad. It was amazing! I think I have a new favourite meal. I was served a whole small circular cheese that had been warmed to the point where it was melted inside, sitting on top of a green salad with cherry tomatoes and strawberries, with some crusty bread and a balsamic vinegar dressing. Once I started eating I couldn't stop, it was just so good. I am definitely having that again, and soon!

We were so impressed we waited a while and had to stay for a piece of cake, well it was just simply divine, if we had enough time we would of simply stayed for lunch too! So good we went back a second time during our week stay at Lochness. It's not often you find somewhere that has everything together, the setting is idyllic, a small plain in a valley with grass and trees, a stones throw from Lochness, the small cabin doesn't look out of place but blends in to the surrounding beauty almost complimenting it yet drawing people to it as a focal point...almost surreal. Then you get inside and sit with a bright, airy, clean, really clean, like upmarket clean...it's pleasant. Look out the window and see the highland cows in the field nearby, close so you can see them clear but not to intrude. We order breakfast it is sublime. Just what it should be. Its like the one you cooked at home and it turned out perfect, all your favourite stuff the way you like it but made by someone else. I couldn't fault it nor could my wife or son although he did drop a couple bits on the floor but it was passed off by the host, yes it made us feel like a friend was hosting us rather that a visit to a restaurant, without any disapproval or look of scorn towards our son as would be seen in some places "don't worry about it, we'll get that, happens all the time". My wife and son then picked out a couple of small items for sale that were sitting displayed as decoration and didn't look out of place as such. We then went outside and saw the deer and other animals before heading on our way. Cannot recommend this place enough, one of the top places we have eaten in Scotland.

The tea room also has wonderful locally made crafts and artwork for sale if you fancy treating yourselves. In my opinion it’s the best place to visit in the highlands, you’ll just not find better.

Was recommended this place by the staff at Wildside Lodges, it didn’t disappoint. The staff are very friendly, the cafe is very homely inside and the food is seriously tasty. Ate there three times during our stay. Best brekky I’ve ever had !.

We had a short lunch stop at Camerons on our way from Dores to Isle of Skye. It is a very cute place with Highland cattle grazing outside (sir outside on the teracce If possible) and a lovely little shop with vegetables, flowers and various handmade things. The cakes were lovely and the tea was served in cute teapots and teacups.

I visited Cameron's for lunch during my stay at Foyers, meeting my friend who lives at Invergarry. The lunch was very good, as on my previous visits. Sweet potato and coconut soup and a sandwich for me. Excellent service. Thoroughly recommend Cameron's.

Family owned, home cooked meals, and a great view of the surrounding farm. They had an extensive menu with plenty of choices for all of us, full tea, and lovely desserts! A nice little shop with crafts and snacks too. They gave us some grapes to feed the pet deer too. Loved it!!!!

The tea room has gorgeous views, and was really nicely furnished including a log burner. The staff were friendly and the food was good quality but what let them down was the amount and price of food.

We were passing and had been recommended this place, so we stopped. Good atmosphere, very relaxed, and the biggest piece of Victoria sponge. I think I'll need to cycle there next time to burn it off.

Great ambiance, friendly staff and scones to die for. You can even do selfies with tame deer (we hope these don’t feature in the excellent looking venison burgers later!). Well worth a visit.

Morag and her team excelled as always today. Great cakes, hot fresh coffee again and the warmest of welcomes and hospitality. Cameron's Tea Rooms is always consistant with freshness, quality home made fare and a lovely ambiance which is hard to find in many places. This place deserves all the excellent reviews.

Visited today as a group of 12. Delightful cafe set in beautiful surroundings. The stove is a treat on a cold day. Super friendly staff and excellent, attentive service for us being a large group. We had a range of items from the menu and everyone cleared their plates. Great value for money especially the soup and sandwich combo. Cafe includes a shop selling fresh local produce and handmade gifts. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, it's well worth the drive. Will return again soon.

Very basic fillings in toasties, paninis and sandwiches with the choice of paying £2 more for a 'Combo Soup and Half a Sandwich'. This would make HALF a tuna sandwich with soup £9.95 which if you take away the soup at £3.95 means your paying £6 for HALF a tuna sandwich! Uninspiring menu that seems overpriced.

We visit the Larder each summer on our west coast trips. We opted for two savoury and two sweet pies to takeaway. One smoked haddock and cheese sauce, one chicken and haggis with sauce, one peach and apricot and one apple and blackcurrant. The smoked haddock pie was amazing, the best ever. The pastry was lovely too. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for this tasty pie on future visits. The chicken and haggis pie was lovely too, both pies moist and packed with filling, great sauces in them. I’m not keen on sweet pies but we enjoyed them too. The peach and apricot pie was perfect for me. Price wise the savoury pies are about right for the weight. No shortage of fish and meat in them.

A star on the north coast and a must visit. Gorgeous views over the Kyle from the outside seating. Family run with great service and great chat, the food was fantastic. We had lunch and had to add the sundae to celebrate the sunny day.

We know the Tongue area very well, and like to eat locally, so it was obvious we would decide to eat at the Craggan, and i'm happy we did! The restaurant area is welcoming and clean, staff friendly, and the car park was easy even with a big van. The only problem was choosing from the menu! So many tasty things - i wish we had more time to visit again.. All three of us enjoyed our food, and we shared everything so i know it was all delicious. Thank you for making a rather wet evening so special..

Dirty tables. Dirty menus. My daughter was served a mouldy panini. Cheese in panini was plastic. Very dry tasteless cheese scone. Drinks not too bad.

It was such a pleasure to visit this cafe and a welcome contrast to the pre-paid accommodation ran by some racketeer at Ivy Cottage. We took one look at what was on offer and fled to next ferry to Mallaig. I went to school in Inverie in 1948- 49. when the priest had an affair with our teacher. He wnt on to become bishop of the Westrn Isles while she became an un-married mother
