A hidden gem. What a nice fairytale bakery that also has a takeaway pizza. It is close to the campsite where we stayed. It was a gloomy rainy day but this cheered us up. The lady behind the bar speaks Dutch, And oh yes... The cookies are delicious. I can't judge the pizzas because we didn't eat them. Definitely worth a visit.

Especially convenient for travelers: Just 100 meters away is a quiet campsite, perfect for a relaxing stay. A thoroughly recommended place for connoisseurs and those seeking relaxation.

How magical this bakery is!!!! It was beautiful to find this place in our way. The food is good and the coffee too! You can sit or walk around their little gardens which are totally fairy!!!

Take a moment when you go to visit the castle to go and eat something in this magnificent place! Manuela is very kind and her dad too! She also showed us the distillery! It's a magnificent place and the food is divine!

The bakery and pizzeria belong together. It's definitely worth a visit, everything is beautifully done, there's a lot to see. The baked goods all look very tasty, the bread was excellent.

Food was mediocre - they didn’t even warm the ham and cheese or the peach cobbler! The coffee was room temp. Really not worth a visit!

Two years ago we started planning our road trip through Scotland. When we saw what a great bakery was right next to one of the campsites we had chosen, we were full of anticipation. And we weren't disappointed. Quite the opposite. Our expectations were exceeded. What a magical place that was created here with a lot of passion and love. We received an extremely warm welcome from Manuela and her daughter. The products are excellent. Especially the sourdough bread. We'll definitely be back!

Loved it. We had this on our itinerary long before we left the U.S. and it did not disappoint. We tried several of the pastries and then bought more for breakfast the next morning. Had a lovely chat with the staff and would definitely recommend.

While traveling from Glencoe to the Isle of Skye we were looking for a cup of coffee and maybe some sweet treats to go with. So we stopped by Manuela‘s wee Bakery. Manuela was super friendly and the sweet treats tasted amazing. Especially the blueberry cookie was delicious

Maybe it is "whimsical" and "atmospheric" ....but this is THIRD time I pass the place hoping to buy some of the products ans pastries shelf is completely EMPTY....there is still two hours of traiding left, but nothing to sell ... coffee i can buy anywhere else

A beautiful location I've been wanting to take my passengers from around the world for over a year but the opportunity had never previously presented itself. Manuela & Jolene are wonderful, the food is made with love and is super fresh. It's worth noting that dogs are not allowed due to the lovely site being home to an elderly but well natured cat who adds a certain 'cuteness' to the already stunning surroundings. Ornate little witchy houses will make your Jaws drop! Highly recommended. It's the biggest-smallest stop you'll make!

Atmosphere was magical. Like walking into a fairy tale. We were kindly helped in Dutch. That's a bit of a switch, what wouldn't you expect in the middle of the highlands of Scotland! She asked if the tea bag should remain in so that the tea could become nice and English or if the bag could be removed. The Dutch all drink their tea much less strong! Glad that this choice was given. Cookies were very tasty. The cinnamon apple cake tasted like an apple crumble and is definitely recommended!

I was told to go here,or else I would have gone right passed it. Great food!!!! Get a bigger sign on the road.!!!! Really wanted to buy the whole shop.

Manuelas Wee Bakery is a lovely little stop if you are driving this way through the Highlands. The bakery grounds ooze a unique and quirky charm that encourage you to pull up a seat and stay awhile. The bread and other baked goods are excellent and were just what I needed. Highly recommend that you drop by if you are ever passing this way.

Very unique bakery with a lot of fairy-themed scenery to see around the garden. Would love to come back on a day with nicer weather. Either way, it's a very interesting stop on the drive to Skye.

Amazing quiet place in the mornings, perfect for a cup of tea along with a variety of bakeries to choose from. Service is so good, the lady who served us was so friendly. A must for a visit to taste their fresh egg buns and cookies. Highly recommended

Everything is really tasty! And there is a fairytale atmosphere, where you can see that the owner has set up this bakery with passion and love. We just couldn't park our camper here properly.

The location, enchanting and welcoming, is perfect for enjoying homemade desserts in a magical atmosphere. The desserts are exceptional: every bite is a delight for the palate, each creation is a masterpiece of flavors and freshness and everything is made with extreme care. But what makes this place truly special is the owner. With his wonderful courtesy and warm hospitality, he will make you feel at home. His passion for pastry making is evident and is reflected in the quality of each product.

This is a fantastic little bakery meets fairy fantasy! I loved all the fairy themed buildings, they are really well done, but I was here for the food! Ordering is rather unique, in that you stand at the large bakery window gesticulating and pointing to get what you want. Once you have completed your pointing and holding up of numbers of fingers, they bring your food out and you pay. I ordered a number of items including the cheese bun, Black Forest and streusal “cookie” and Nutella “croissant”, all of which are bread based. Despite all looking amazing I managed to space these out over the day, and all were delicious and unlike anything I had had before. Definitely worth a detour. Note the coffee is from a pod and is not very pleasant at all! Just avoid the coffee and you will have an amazing experience.

One of the most magical places you could ever visit, make sure it's on your list. The cakes are to die for, I would order weekly if they did a postal service 🙂 You can't capture the wonder of the bakery, the service and calm. It was amazing to watch the oldies, smiling and just laughing at various signs and sights.

We arrived close to closing time so the atmosphere was quiet and I loved that. Practically had the place to ourselves. There weren't a lot of bakes left, but that was on our side of things due to our arrival time. But what we did get was delicious! Got a sweet plum cookie, and it tasted amazing! Honestly, it's so delicious! Loved the set up of the place as well, with witches and wizards and the pond and wee houses. Felt like a tiny village. I'm really happy with our brief but wonderful visit. Would like to come back and spend more time sampling the bakes! Parking is on the smaller side, but we were lucky. During busy times, there might not be enough parking to go around.

This is a great stop off on the way to Skye. We had been recommended it. Found easily off the main road and lovely surrounding views. It’s very quaint decor and certainly an experience. However, we quickly found this to be a bit of a tourist trap. The bread and cakes are hugely overpriced aimed at Americans and pretty average. They name them cookies but it’s just bread with a topping. The coffee and tea were nicer but not professional made just out a home style machine. The biggest issue is you have to pay £1 per person to use the toilet - even if you’ve bought drinks and food. This is utterly ridiculous in the uk. I can understand maybe a small payment if you don’t buy anything but it’s pretty well known if you buy something you should be able to use the loo. It’s locked with a key. There is a nicer place down the road I wouldn’t bother with this.

This was our second time there to buy whiskey. Great atmosphere and Manuela is very accommodating. We also took some delicious bread with us.

Recently on holiday touring Scotland and decided to try the take away pizza from the bakery in village of Ardelve, we ordered 4 x 10 inch pizzas all different toppings, none of my family really enjoyed the pizzas which were made fresh to order, the pizzas lacked cheese and were very bland of taste, the sauce was watery which allowed the toppings to slide off all in all would not recommend nor will I use again each, the cost on average £12.00 per pizza overpriced. We had arrived at 16:50 they would not take our order until 17:00 we had to wait outside until 17:00.

If you are anywhere near this place, you must find time to visit. A magical little corner in a magical part of the world. Friendly service and tasty treats!

An absolute must visite when you are ever in Dornie, super cute location and decorations, but most of all the pastries are amazing! In the evening they also make take away pizza, which was delicious!

Just bought a savoury and a sweet cookie for our breakfast, they were both delicious. One ham and cheese and one plum crumble. What a great start to our day along with a cappuccino. All goodies are home made in the bakery. If your in the area give them a try, I wish I lived closer.

If you love bread, this quaint bakery will be right up your alley. Situated in a beautiful picturesque garden, the bakery has savoury and sweet treats on offer. Whilst I have a Nutella croissant, is was just in the shape of a croissant. The texture was bread like (see photo) with crumble on the top. The baker was generous with the Nutella too. Absolutely delicious but don’t expect to be eating a croissant. Its bread. But no complaints from me. My friend has a savoury cookie. Again, more like a bread than a cookie but she still loved it. We shared a pretzel baguette. The outside had a pretzel texture and the bread was lightly salted. Very pleasant. My cappuccino was lovely and fairly priced. This is an absolute must. They also have pizzas on sight and a distillery but they weren’t open as we went in the morning. I would absolutely go back.

Super schön dekoriert, wie im Zwergen Land. Die Pizza abends war absolut die Beste die wir in Shottland gegessen haben. Die Backwaren am Morgen waren ebenfalls Mega! Deutsche Inhaber, total liebe Menschen! War mit meinem Sohn dort, die erste Bewertung wurde nicht veröffentlicht, daher nun gern nochmal. Macht genauso weiter, sollten wir wieder in die Gegend kommen, sind wir wieder eure Gäste.

Manuela and her Wee Bakery are lovely and I highly recommending visiting if you are nearby. She's got a lovely selection of baked German-style products, as well as a variety of other items such as whisky marmalade and Rocky Road bars (we purchased both) and a range of hot drinks. I had a delicious Apple Cinnamon Cookie (not actually cookies, but describing the shape of the delicious bread base many of the items have - see other reviews for images) and we also brought a lovely fresh loaf of bread which I am really enjoying. To avoid disappointment check in advance that it is open (search for Manuela's wee Bakery on Facebook) as it is closed some times of the year (looks like mainly the off-peak season). Note that, since it is popular, you may find that a lot of the items have sold out unless you are there in the morning.

What a find! Absolutely magical and delicious, we had blackberry / peach cinnamon cookies, both are excellent, and I enjoyed the fairytale setting very much.

Ideal place to make a coffee (or tea) and eat some of the delicacies they prepare there, both sweet and savory. In addition, the atmosphere is quite peculiar due to its decoration (we don't do spoilers but if you like witches... better!). And the staff is super friendly and willing to have a conversation (if that's what you want). Both take away and to drink there, highly recommended!

Super nice here, definitely worth a detour. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily during our visit, so we couldn't fully enjoy the extremely original and very cozy location.

This adorable place is a MUST STOP if you are on your way to Eileen Donan Castle or Isle of Skye. It's a family owned shop that has the most incredible pastries and sweets as well as a pizza shop in the afternoon! Everything is like a little fairy village and the owner is just as sweet as she can be :) It's a magical little spot that you should definitely try out!

Whimsical and a must see with children. Also sels baked goods. Bread was great. Sells awardwinning gin in one of the litte houses. Was a fun stop with some naughty gargoyles.

The coffee shop is decorated very cutely. fairy tale style Homemade bakery Fresh and delicious every morning. Eat with fresh coffee. Feel satisfied early in the morning. The cutest thing is probably the bathroom. Once you get in, you don't want to leave. There is also music to listen to in the bathroom.

You are always served with a smile and the bread is out off this world. Honestly I couldn't rate it high enough.

Just taking a look at this garden is worth it, wow, so well done. Lots of choice of tasty fresh pastries! The vanilla cake with plum was delicious! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the property, which is a shame, otherwise we could have enjoyed these treats on site.

What can I say the bakery does amazing food .

I had been so excited to visit Manuela's before our trip - and I was SO HAPPY to had finally gotten there! The reviews and pictures do do it justice - it's a MUST STOP if you're passing through to or from Skye. It is not very busy, so it's peaceful. The decoration and setup outdoors are so cool and fun to explore. Our 3 yr old was very excited to see all the different decorations and bird/bugs they invited. The service was very kind! Gave us time and feedback about flavours so we could make the right choice. So many different baked goods - you cannot go wrong. The cookies are amazing; breads delicious. Coffee from a nespresso-like system but I don't care. It was still good! As a parting gift, our son got a balloon in his favorite color from the lovely lady! Made his day. Thank you so much!

Beautiful wee place. Only thing missing was more seating (there was only one table outdoors under a shelter, other tables were outside in the rain unfortunately). Had a ham and cheese cookie which was very nice!
