Great shop with some fantastic products and a nice cafe with a brillant breakfast.

As a local I’m a regular at this great cafe but just wanted to complement the new menu. Really great to see some different and interesting veggie options, the coronation chickpea toastie is spot on!

Clean and bright coffee was lovely staff helpful, would use again.

A great range of products to suit all needs! Staff were friendly and helpful. A good place to stop off if you're passing though to use the facilities and top up your flasks too!

Three members of staff standing chatting behind the food counter in the cafe refused to take our food and drink order as it was 4 minutes to noon and food didn't start until noon. Obviously we left and ate elsewhere. Perhaps they didn't realise that by the time they had served our pot of tea and taken the order it would have been past noon. Who knows....

Nice coffee and gift shop- cosy interior as well. Would recommend but on the occasion we were there the staff in the coffee shop were not friendly and basically rude which made us not want to stay very long. From observing, this seemed to be the attitude given to most people. Quite a shame really. I don’t usually review places but felt I had to in this case.

Just had a lunch here for a wee treat and I am very impressed! Absolutely delicious food and the service was excellent. Hats off to the young male waiter! Will definitely be back 😁

Beautifully decorated large store with a wide range of products from The Highland Soap Company and nice accessories for the home. There is also a nice café in the same building. Worth a visit if you are in Fort William (or passing through).

We did the soap making workshop with Teeny. It was great fun and she was lovely. We came away with some gorgeous soaps!

A must try in Scotland: it's a souvenir store specializing in the production of artisanal soap and with a coffee shop. The store is great with lots of souvenirs to take away and staff who are attentive to all your questions. Little more, we can try the soaps before purchasing in the store and even in the toilets with the associated hand lotion. The coffee shop is big and everything is good too; chai latte, moca and shortbread.

Beautiful gift shop and the bacon bacon butties truly wonderful. The soaps are truly amazing with gorgeous aromas!

Lovely dog friendly place coffee is fantastic and I'm not a big coffee lover. Great products love the shampoo bars and the bog murtel products really keep the midgies away a god send

Went for lunch. I had soup and earl grey. Was delicious & very reasonably prices. The atmosphere was lovely and it smells great. You can sample the hand creams too. Would recommend.

Lovely place to stop for food and shopping.

Nice breakfast and good coffee! We used it as a pit stop from Glasgow to Inverness. Nice views (weather permitting) of Ben Nevis.

Beautiful shop they make there own soap here, and it feels and smells amazing. It would be nice to mix and match on the offers available, if you purchase a multi buy, then it has to be the same range, I would have spent more if I could have purchased across the range at a discount. They also have a coffee shop here.

Took the soap making class. Teeny was very nice and we had a great time. The complimentary hot chocolate I had during the break was really good. Overall a very fun experience.

Great place, always busy at lunch and there is sometimes a queue to be seated. Worth the wait though... We had burgers and a toastie which were well cooked and all from local producers so you know it's fresh too. All the staff were cheery and couldn't do enough. Table management was extremely efficient and made for a fast throughput, but never felt rushed. Good shop next door... massive compared to their former premises in Spean Bridge! They have a great, environmentally friendly and economical, refill service for shower gel/shampoo, etc. Overall, a great place for a good lunch.

It is a pretty shop. It’s fun to see the castle and then pick out a souvenir soap. Everyone working the counters was very nice.

Super charming spot for breakfast. We didn’t know what we were walking into, but the food is utterly delicious and fresh tasting. On good weather days there are picnic tables on a patio to enjoy your meal outdoors. Everyone was super kind and welcoming. Best meal we had in the area

The Larder Cafe: Airy and spacious setting with a laid-back vibe. Staff super friendly, polite and helpful. Food yummy too, with their unobtrusive shortbread biscuits a surprising delight. A must-go if you visit the Highlands areas near Fort William.

A pleasant cafe and shop. Bright and airy interior. Nice to sit outside when the weather permits. It can get busy in the summer during lunchtime. So best to arrive early. Otherwise you may have to wait on a table.

We did not have a meal here, but the restaurant was full and menu looked delicious. Gift shop full of fun Scottish items, reasonably priced. Clean rest rooms. Staff very helpful

Waited 20 minutes and nobody could be bothered to come and take even a drinks order let alone breakfast. Seemed more like a women's institute meeting behind the counter than somewhere that wants to provide people with food. Go elsewhere.

We found the spot by searching for breakfast then filtering by highest review. The cafe did not disappoint. . We both ordered the avocado toast; me with salmon, she with a poached egg. I got a bonus scone with clotted cream. We picked a table and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. . Everything was fresh and delicious. The scone was sturdy enough yet still tender. The salmon was lightly smoked and wonderfully fatty. The poached egg was reported to be perfect, with a done white but runny yoke. My slight complaint would be that the toast didn't seem toasted at all. I will admit that my preference is for a bit of a crunch on my toast. . Our coffees were both excellent. . Overall, a quality experience.

A large selection of soap and decorative items. The soaps, body lotions and creams are available in many scents. The prices do not differ from those of other points of sale. The diversity makes a visit recommended. There are enough parking spaces available. A café on site invites you to linger.

Best breakfast I've had in years!

Large selection of different and delicately scented soaps. The many smells can be a bit too much after a while. There is also a small restaurant where it is worth making a reservation. Otherwise you have to be prepared for longer waiting times. The sandwiches and pies are very good.

The soap workshop is highly recommended for a unique experience in the Highlands. You get one on one teaching how to make your own one of a kind soap bars. We had the wonderful Teeny as an instructor and had a great time creating our own soaps, mixing scents and choosing colours. You get 3 -5 bars of soap out of the workshop. The shop and the restaurant were beautifully furnished with lots of love for details.

Truly gorgeous location. Food and drinks lovely. Perfect place to catch up with pals and have the kids race about the open space.

Stopped there unplanned. They make great soaps which we have found in hotels, distilleries and restaurants across Scotland.

We were in town for just 2 days and ate lunch here on both days. As vegetarians, we ate salads, macaroni & cheese and soup. All were good and we especially enjoyed the coffee-walnut cake which is made in house. Friendly service & a great shop are a bonus! Be sure to get a table before you order at the counter… give them your table number and they bring the food to you. Definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting Fort William!

Myself and my family absolutely loved the soap workshop. Our host, 'Teeny' was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, supportive, informative, patient, knowledgeable, an incredibly bubbly kind lady who made the experience even more enjoyable. During our break, we went to the cafe for our complimentary hot drink, which were lovely and beautifully presented. We decided to have some lunch and cakes, all of which tasted amazing. After our break we went back to the workshop to package our soaps, again, Teeny was incredibly helpful and she took the time to help my daughter with wrapping her soaps. I would 100% recommend this workshop and if you are fortunate to have Teeny as your host (although I'm sure all the staff who do the workshops are lovely) then you are in for a lovely experience. A great morning had by all. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Great food, however coke they offered was not great

Very nice shop, there are all their lines and a small open laboratory. The cost of the products, unfortunately, is the same as what is found everywhere in the various shops. There is also some objects and a very good coffee in my opinion. Furthermore, next to it there is a half-ruined castle and the railway bridge where the Jacobite train passes.

The Highland Soap Company is a charming Scottish gem! Their handmade soaps, lotions, and creams are a delight for the senses, with unique and captivating fragrances. The store itself is beautifully decorated, and the friendly staff are incredibly helpful. I had a delicious veggie burger in their lovely cafe which has a beautiful garden behind it - it was the perfect complement to my shopping experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent venue for food on a wet day. The beef burger was exceptional. Service and atmosphere are very friendly. 2 small warnings. They don't serve coke or pepsi. Instead, they serve something that taste like cough medicine. The sandwiches also come with an optional small chips as opposed to a large side of chips (just so no one ends up disappointed).

I found the cafes in Fort William disappointing, the exception being the Larder Cafe, it was excellent. We arrived for brunch and it was nice to have the option of not having a burger or a toastie! My smashed avo with bacon, juicy sun dried tomatoes and nicely poached egg was delicious. To finish I had a very fresh scone, great jam and freshly whipped cream. Apart from their soap, their shop is filled with a large variety of local produce. They are truly trying to support local industries.

Love the products from here and love the ethos. Always have to visit when we're in Scotland. Favourite is the glycerin soap Seaweed, and the Lemongrass and Ginger. Haven't tried the food so can't comment. Lovely gifts available, plenty of parking available

A lovely place for all those lovers of the brand. If you are in the area, it is well worth the visit. The car part is large and free. The location looks up at Ben Nevis and there is also a castle next door to add context to your visit! I have coffee and a scone while visiting which was fantastic. The place is clean, well laid out and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Amazing place, such a wide array of products

I really hoped the Larder Cafe was going to be a lovely experience, but sadly it fell short of that. We waited 40 mins for the food to arrive which in the end was quite bland and non descript (goats cheese salad and soup). It could have been so good…

Absolutely amazing, staff very helpful and friendly, cafe is brilliant, bought plenty of my favourite fragrant items Scottish Wild Raspberry such a shame you don't make the shampoo and conditioner.

Nice place to have lunch… with a bunch of dishes on the menu. Unfortunately we arrived around 4PM and they only served sandwiches and soup. They were good but surprisingly expensive… but really good… nothing to say on the quality of the products. After we ordered 2 hot drinks and the bill was 50£ 🙈… let say this was the only thing on which we think they can make an effort.

Just enjoyed a super soap making workshop complete with coffee break. Great fun with oodles of scents and options to explore and create really personalised soaps, thanks to our creating guide Teeny. I now have a stash of gorgeous soaps and I’d really recommend this to spend a lovely couple of hours, especially on a rainy west coast day! Thanks Teeny you’re a star.

Good coffee, nice service. However, after a short time we were thrown out of the shop because the seats were needed for lunch guests.

Super nice cafe with a very tasty breakfast. The selection of soaps and body lotions in the shop is large. Perfect if you want to bring a gift back from vacation.

You can get really good coffee here and the cappuccino is also highly recommended. Our cake and cinnamon bun were above average and the service was courteous and friendly. We sat outside and were able to let our toddler run freely (with a little attention). Excellent: there are changing facilities in the men's and women's toilets! The shop is very versatile and offers, in addition to very well-smelling soap and the like, a lot of souvenirs, food, clothing, etc. from all over Scotland. Excellent: you can test all soaps and fill your own container. A must-stop for anyone who needs good (not high street junk!) souvenirs, a good coffee or just wants to refill their soap in the camper. Large and free parking lot, no overnight camping.

They don't let you get a big table, but then they take you out of line for not having a table. A nonsense. I wouldn't go back. Of course, you can go to the bathroom for free.

Beautiful cafe and soap shop next to the old Inverlochy castle Plenty of parking.. clean bathrooms.. and delicious food and coffee Plus is smells heavenly in here ! Recommend: chilli chicken over fries (very unique flavor) Cheese and red onion chutney toastie comes with a nice accompanying salad

A nice shop where you can have a bite to eat and attend workshops.

This is a hidden gem, the hot drinks and cakes are wonderful, but the bit food isn't that great and the soft drinks - well, not too my taste and a restricted choice. The soap factory is excellent, rather pungent with random mixture of odours, BUT they have a small corner that hides some rather good whisky and gin...... what a cracking find.

Great food served by friendly staff.

Coffee was good however the service less. We came 40 minutes before closing, they were not pleasant from the order of the Coffee till the moment they came to us and started "counting down" for closing time. We were about to finish and a quick look should have been enough to understand and let us finish. Never been in a place that even if needed to close made guests hurry and finish drinking. The soap shop was lovely and vibrant

The best coffee in town, delicious cheese scones, friendly staff.

We spotted this from the road a couple of times as we drove by and on our last day we dropped in for a visit. The soaps are high quality with great aromatic varieties. My favourite was the raspberry soap.

Sarah was an excellent guide, telling us the history of the business before telling us the process. It was great fun smelling all the botanicals before making our own soap. The complimentary drink was very welcome while we waited for soap to set. An excellent morning's entertainment and David aka Emna put up with Christel and myself blethering away..

Fantastic shop and café. The food (Benedicts) were delicious, Ivan provided great service and was a pleasure to speak with.

The people here are so nice and so enthusiastic about all their products (which are amazing). The cafe has incredible food!

Great selection of gifts including soap, face wash, whisky, gin and lots more. The smell is amazing with lots of testers for you to sample.

Wonderful place! Food like from the BEST restaurants, very delicious. Crispy chicken & Waffles with maple syrup is totally unexpected and mind-blowing combination. Anything you order looks beautiful and is the highest quality, starting from the simple coffee to smoked salmon. Everything is fresh and very tasty. Love this hidden spot. ❤️❤️❤️

Shame our experience was tarnished by a very rude member of staff (who I've now realised is the manager of the shop floor) who snatched a hanger out of her colleagues hand who was serving us. The way she spoke to her colleague was also unacceptable. That member of staff was lovely and helpful.

Recently came here for coffee. Good service, clean facility, plenty of free car parking. There is an old castle next door to see as well which is a nice walk with your coffee. They also have a nice menu with plenty of options.

Good smelling soaps, came out with three
