The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Central Scotland

Visited here with my wife for a couple of pre dinner drinks. Barmaid was really friendly and so were the local drinkers . The toilets were immaculate . I’d visit again!

We really loved this city centre cafe and visited it twice during our 3 day visit to Dundee! It had such a welcoming atmosphere. I love tea and this cafe has the best selection in Dundee. I especially loved the raspberry and lavender. The cakes were all home made and delicious! We didn’t have lunch or breakfast but we definitely will on our return to the city. The menu is 100% vegan. The soup is pay what you like. One of the aims of the cafe is to help people with additional needs to learn new skills for the work place. I wish there were more places like this! I cannot recommend it more! Excellent cakes and a fantastic ethos! I guarantee you’ll want to go back!

First visit here. Dropped in for a coffee. Nice place with more than enough tables and a decent menu at reasonable prices, but the service was very slow and seemed disorganised. Waited for about ten minutes to be initially served. My wife had time to look around the adjoining gift shop, before our order was taken. Coffee and cakes were good, but the service needs a little improvement.

Delivery driver was ignorant and unprofessional and abrupt, not what you want at your door at all

My mussels cooked well however the sauce was watery and bland. The lentil soup was too sweet, too many carrots in fact should have been carrot soup not lentil. The haddock was overcooked and my steak was blue not rare which made the steak tough. As anyone knows the cut of steak depends on how you want it cooked. Maybe on the menu as in steak frittes it should stipulate the cut. The service was excellent and nice ambiance however the food took ages to arrive and the restaurant was not busy. So a little disappointing we will give it one more go but not for a while!

Cracking wee place for a cake and coffee.

I had lunch here with my friends and we absolutely loved it! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was bustling yet cosy. The food was delicious, with vegan options available. I tried both the bagel and the toasties, and they were both fantastic. The meal was also quite affordable. I’d definitely love to come back again sometime!

Booked for lunch. On arrival the car park entrance isn't clearly marked and I ended up going in the exit as the paint was all faded. No one at the door to greet us so was a bit confused as to where to go. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Staff were pleasant and professional. We had a 3 course business lunch. Starters came very quickly. We both had vegetable pakora which was lovely. The sauce was a bit bland though. We had chicken tikka chasni and vegetable korma. The chicken was gorgeous however the chasni sauce wasn't like any chasni I have had. It tasted very much like korma. The garlic nan was absolutely delicious. We both had gulab jaman and ice cream which was lovely and not too filling.

Lovely venue , decent selection of beers . We didn't eat here just had a drink and used the toilets that were spotless . There were TVs showing sports however I can't recall if the volume was in or music was playing in the background, either way it didn't disturb or conversation. It's a very high quality pub with some outdoor seating across the road that's next to the pier. I'd go back if I visit Anstuther again and maybe have something to eat . However this place is next food to The Anstruther Fish Bar

Real Ale in very good condition. Tequila cocktails useful

Don't do meals but are always friendly and glad to see you. Recent report of going into liquidation is false, so they are still open for business.

Genuinely tasty coffee (had an americano) and friendly service
