Have ordered from here a few times but never a curry. Over £14 for a madras and rice, container was 3 quarters full and had about 6 bits of tony chicken. Never again

Dropped by earlier this week and was not impressed in the slightest about the behaviour from the staff. Staff behind the counter were very rude to me and even spoke about me to another customer very loudly, making sure I knew they were talking about me. This confused me as all I did was order my items then take a seat. The cafe at first looks warm and welcoming yet inside is most definitely not! Tables were not clean and were not getting cleaned anytime soon by the looks. A staff member phone was charging at my table and I was not allowed to move it. Would not recommend to anyone. I did not try the food only a drink and it was very underwhelming to say the least.

Fantastic little cafe, best breakfast I've had in a looong time, couldn't fault a thing! I love having the option to choose my items in a breakfast, the coffee was delicious, and everything was cooked perfectly. Wish I was staying in Inverness longer to come.

Really enjoyed my return visit.l haven't been here since it's been the Fat Pheasant. We really enjoyed the burger and the Sunday roast followed by the Apple pie washed down with a nice red, excellent relaxed but professional atmosphere and good value with great staff

Absolutely impossible service, the bartender doesn't care at all. Was already annoyed when we came in. It has to be said that this bar is suggested to be part of the Euro Hostel, its bar area, so to speak. Normally I wouldn't care otherwise. But then, on the evening in question, the kitchen remained cold and it was not possible to order anything to eat - but when one of the group got a snack, the bartender got upset and basically threw him out. No “hello” beforehand, absolutely in a bad mood, but suddenly he manages to open his mouth. Ridiculous! There are better bars and pubs everywhere. You don't have to do that.

Very nice place to eat and the food was of excellent quality but it is expensive for what it is offered. Only really for special occasions.

You guys deserve more than 5 stars after our experience there the charming lady on the till was polite cheerful and bubbly even though some of the menu was not available. The food we did receive was simply outstanding the food was hot, looked delicious and we would not hesitate to recommend going for a meal there while shopping or simply in the area as we were.

Great service, some items off the menu not available however there was plenty of choice. Staff very polite and helpful and friendly.

Standard Wetherspoons located right next to Waverley railway station, Edinburgh's main station, so can get very busy. The decor is a nod to the train travel with booths themed, loosely as rail carriages with baggage props above. There is a bank of three hot drinks machines so you shouldn't be waiting too long for your unlimited refills. There is a small outside sitting area. Staff are busy and efficient. There are ample toilets down a few flights of stairs. The station toilets are marginally better and are accessible.
