Tesco Cafe in Highland

Very busy but staff coped well . Food fresh and hot . Cafe is nice and clean and used tables were cleared quickly . Enjoyed our breakfast .

Food was lovely , cannot fault it, the price was exceptional for what we got, the staff were super friendly considering they were under lots of pressure, the only down side was the waiting time to be served (there was only one girl making coffees, getting the sugar, milk, number for tables, trays and then taking the money, so be prepared to wait! I’m giving it 5 stars for girls effort to keep it together under pressure!!

Always hesitant of supermarket cafes however this is a Brilliant clean cafe. Fast service and very well presented food.

Closes at 4.45pm. 4.47pm wouldn't serve me or a hungary child. Rude staff, avoid.

Incredibly slow service! The girl serving spent more time through the back retrieving coffee cups etc. The queue was nearly back to the newspaper stand. They seemed very short of staff, not like you wouldn't know that lunch might be busy? I had the chicken strips that were just tasteless deep fried and really dry. (not like the succulent picture when your ordering)

This cappuccino was the best I've tasted. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely. Tables were clean.

Just came for lunch, me and a friend had the crispy chicken burger, with fries and smoothies and it was stunning!! xxxx

Although the cafe was busy, Nell managed to take some time to ensure we were happy with our meal and made sure our table was clean. It’s a busy place, and the staff seem very pleasant and cheerful

The customer service from the team was amazing and they did everything they could to make our life easier by helping with our shoping

Waffle was so dry it actually had a gritty texture, it was horrible really I ate one and the undercooked bacon, and scraped the wee dribble of maple syrup up as best I could. £4.20!

Had the loaded Fries not the best cheese for this dish and the choc Milk shake was a Disaster the server used a warm glass then fished about in the jar of Shake powder for the tiny spoon with there fingers and all in all it was horrible .

Food was fab, the hot drinks were lovely and the prices are very good, a lovely inexpensive, but filling breakfast/meal. The only downside was that Ania was left completely on her own, which meant the wait was longer than usual, however through no fault of her own; as a prior restaurant manager, it would be more ideal if you brought help from other departments, or if, say the department head came to lend a hand! Otherwise, Ania was fantastic and handled a moderately busy breakfast service with a smile and excellent professionalism; it would be nice to see your staff treated properly though!

We had to wait a long time for service as there was a long queue but maybe that was a sign that it is popular. It serves a range of casual foods at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nothing special as it is Tesco's supermarket, but is fine if you are looking for a drink or inexpensive meal whilst shopping there. Covid-19 precautions were well in place.

Cafe has changed somewhat since I was in before but all good. Good service, clean( each table that had been used when we were in was cleaned right after the users had left), food decent, at a good price. All in all very fair!

I usually pop into Tesco Café on the infrequent times that I visit Dingwall. Always warm and friendly with good value food.

it's a Tesco cafe after all. Service was a bit haphazard ( one person trying to do everything) and limited food on display. However a welcome & pleasant pot of tea.

The staff are always friendly and I have never had a real issue. The prices are also very fair and I like that you can earn Tesco points at the cafe. Sometimes the queue gets really long but the staff deal with busy spells effectively. I often pop in for a coconut soya latte, my favourite item on the menu!

Having frequented Tesco Delicatessens my entire puff, i was D E L I G H T E D at the quality of this Dingwall branch. The pain au chocolat was expertly seasoned, the dusty icing put me in mind of the frosty north ahead. My server’s triangular goatee was immaculate, I couldn’t stop staring. Tesco Finest™️ toiletries I’ll wager!!!!!! The tile pattern on the floor really, reeeallyy buttered all of my parsnips. Much love and respect, Maz x

It had no gluten free products nor milk substitutes.

Dingwall is a much better shopping experience than the Tesco Extra at Inverness. Quieter, more spacious and a real 'local' feel too. The integrated cafe has an excellent menu which changes according to time of day and the staff are so friendly. This store is our refuelling stop before heading off into the remoter parts of the Highlands north and west, and fuel prices (April 2019) were identical to the price paid in Hampshire the same week.

Typical Tesco cafe breakfast, nice and hot not a bad price. The girl serving was lovely. No frills cafe!

Food is good, nice environment, staff lovely.

Use it regularly when staying in Dingwall good size store well stocked helpful staff plenty of parking spaces. Fuel prices at petrol station are good compared to other places

Got all necessities here nd staff so friendly also two cash machines. As it was Xmas period I was impressed by the food being so fresh nd plentiful

Service good ,food Tesco standard ,yet if ask they will make a big effort to make your meal / find ingredients to somehow look and taste like it's a very nice restaurant: egg royal...Mmm impressive!

A standard tesco cafe. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Fantastic big breakfast and very reasonably priced at £6.25. Smashed chilli avocado on seeded bloomer with poached egg bacon and cold sliced tomato also good. Worst flat white ever but would definitely return for breakfast.

I stopped to have a coffee break after a huge shop in this cafe and was pleasantly surprised with the warmth of service here delivered.Not been from the area a big thanks must go to Kevin who is a mindful of information and helped me immensely to make my week long stay in Dingwall eventful and memorable. The service was very prompt even though they were very busy too. I noticed this staff member Kevin take a customers tray who was infirm to a table also which looked as if this is something he does naturally.A A ++ for this staff member Tesco should give him a gold star for customer care, and his personal service.The coffee was very tasteful also, and did have that lovely freshly ground taste and smell, having not eaten a meal here but the cheese toasties I can reccomend them 100%, they have an amazing filling and cheese on outside of toastie which makes this a lovely snack.Try this cafe and others in Tesco as I have done, you will be surprised.

Never have what you want from the menu, always a compromise.

Nice in store cafe, great for a quick snack or simple meal and a coffee.
