This bars atmosphere and the kindness that the staff have portrayed is so nice , the drinks are at a reasonable price , and the lunch service , best food I had in a while The owner is very professional and will help you wherever is possible

Great place with lovely staff and atmosphere. My go-to place when out for a drink. Live music on Mondays. Board/Card/Table-Top games on Tuesdays. TouchTunes jukebox for music. Definitely worth a visit if you're out for a drink.

Outstanding service. Opened early to play the womens euro final. Allowed us to bring a takeaway as they weren't serving food. Great staff and facilities, would recommend.

Tasty cocktails. Friendly and helpfull staff. Good place to relax.

On our way to dinner we stopped off here for a pre dinner cocktail. Not impressed by the barstaff's scarf but the cocktail was good. We didn't say long as it smelt of stale beer and bodies.

Not a big fan of the decor, but that is quickly forgotten when you try the food, Yum yum yum Will be going back

Mr C''s in Thurso is an excellent place place to kick back and have a few drinks touring Scotland under the Scottish 500. It's close to Sandra''s Bunk house (excellent) and Chris your barman is an excellent conversationalist. He certainly gave this stranger a warm welcome - unlike the Commercial Bar in Thurso (avoid).

I only went In for a drink on a hot summers day left after so much more. On arrival the staff behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly, had a coke zero with ice, ended up having food, I had a bacon cheese burger which was sublime, it came with a side salad and fully homemade which was amazing and tortilla chips, the chef was very friendly and even came out to see if the food was OK for us, me and the three who accompanied me wure all fully satisfied with the food and service. 100% would recommend to anyone, kitchen has just reopened and is amazing for food and fantastic value for money, would eat here again

Best music in town playing. Destine made my night in Mr C. Do visit this place and just ignore all the reviews who say that you shouldn't go here, you won't regret it.

We were in Thurso on a Sunday morning, and there was almost nowhere to get a hot drink. We were therefore pleased to find Mr C's bar open. There were few customers, and we were welcomed by the staff. The drinks took quite a while to come, but we were grateful for somewhere to stop and have a drink.

Very nostalgic to go back to a bar where I spent so much time when I lived in Thurso. Very sad interior which hasn’t been updated since previous (very good) owner. Calling it a cocktail bar is a joke, only customers and waited ridiculous time for 3 drinks, barman had to phone to ask instructions to make a drink which turned out to be🤢. Card machine didn’t work after three attempts at which point the barman produced his ‘no card payment’ sign so had to walk to the cash point. Not coming back

Been in before and thought it was ok but back recently and they didn't have the ingredients needed for the cocktail we wanted which is bizzare as it's a cocktail bar. Place stank like a public toilet. Bar staff were on their phones and awful lot. Won't be back

Fun, young and hip. This pub is situated in the heart of Thurso. A small town with a lot of history.

Mr c's is a great local cocktail bar for regulars, tourists and travelers alike, the prices are good and the staff is better, 100% would visit again

This place is a dive, but if you like house music and drunk underagers it might be for you.

Such a friendly bar, very welcoming staff and a good atmosphere! Brilliant cheap prices and good quality premium alcohols. Didn't appreciate being asked for tips after every round by the older gentlemen. His whole demeanour seemed cocky during the visit. Think I will be avoiding the bar if he is working the next time I visit.

Ce soir là il y avait beaucoup de monde, dont certains complètement saoul qui laissaient tomber leur verres pleins par terre, je me suis retrouvé avec des chaussures complètement arrosées de bierre et autre boissons ! Service peu aimable et cher. Ce pub est recommandé dans un livre bien connu commençant par Le Rout........, perso je ne le recommande pas

Visited Mr C's numerous times and have found it to be delightful each and every time. The negative review this establishment has received is in my opinion very far from the truth (the sign out front makes it clear they can only show BT sports so there is absolutely no basis for complaint on this front). The drinks are reasonably priced, tasty and the overall decor and ambience is very relaxed and friendly, which brings me to the best part of Mr C's, the bar staff. All of them have been nothing but welcoming and helpful, making some of the best cocktails I have had and been patient enough to listen to how to make ones they don't already know when is necessary. Simon, the owner, has always been very attentive, friendly and always witty. His staff are much the same, Sam (the short blue-haired fellow mentioned in a previous review) has invented his own cocktail the "Calypo Sunrise" which is both delicious and strong and I would recommend to any vodka fans. This being said every member of the staff deserves a special mention for their 5-star effort. A definite must visit for anyone in Thurso.

Have visited Mr C's a few time over the past few months and i could not fault it. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. They are more than happy to have a conversation with you. I love the fact the venue is family friendly during the day. The tall gentleman with the goatie is always very friendly and will happily get involed with friendly conversation and is really great with kids and makes the best sandwiches and breakfast rolls in the county. When it comes to my monthly night out the staff always have a smile on there faces and are very polite, the female with the peircings (also love that they do not discriminate against tattoos, piercings or hair dye) and the short blue haired gent, have never failed to put a smile on my face and the perfect cocktail in my hand when i visit the bar. I could not fault Mr C's in the slightest, i would highly reccomend it to anyone to visit this place.

Went in to watch a football game that was on through the week, as advertised outside all live sports shown here! Walked in ordered a pint (wish I hadn't) the place was dead on a Wednesday night two people sitting at the bar. Barman couldn't be bothered. Politely asked are you showing this game on sky sports? Which a quite rudely snapped " we only get BT sports not sky" quickly drank my pint and high tailed it to another establishment where it showed the football which was stowed out couldn't get a seat! But still enjoyed the football. As my dad says "you can always tell a good place when the locals come here" boy gosh he was right! Mr C wants to be a pub by day and nightclub by night which isn't possible! Place was cheap tacky you name it! Worst pub in Britain!

Nice friendly Sportsbar type venue, with pool table, music, Karaoke on occasions, and a friendly place to start off...

Brilliant staff, drinks and food. Pleasant atmosphere and good music!
