The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scotland

Lovely meal and great helpful staff, I am gluten free and my partner is vegan so not easy to provide for but they excelled with us.

Nice clean room, a little small but perfect for my needs. Worth the cost. Didn’t stay for breakfast as they opened the restaurant at 10am after I’d left. That would be my only consideration,

Costa Braehead food court. Coffee was too strong, I ordered a tuna melt panini which was microwaved! you can imagine how soggy it was and tough at the ends, very little filling it was awful. Staff seemed flustered and the table was so sticky the napkin actually stuck to it. Will never go back.

Wonderful experience! Efficient, friendly staff. Enjoyed a relaxing cappuccino, and a delicious empire biscuit. The restaurant/café is small but very comfortable, safe and clean. Looking forward to going back for a meal.

Enjoyed breakfast here and had no issues at all. Food was very good and the coffee excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Prices very reasonable.

Even the owner was wearing a coat! I think you should be able to sit comfortably and eat without the need to wear a coat! At 12.15 the soup wasn't ready yet... The place lacked atmosphere as well. The food we ordered was nice but minimal - no salad with a toasty. I wouldn't go again

Really disappointed today. Bought a loaf. Levain I think it's called. It was not fresh. I know because I bought the sane loaf a few days ago. I enjoyed it so much went back today for another. The one purchased today was definitely left over from yesterday. The least they could have done was reduced it as other local artisan bakeries do.

Mixed experience at Trellis. The cafe itself is lovely and clean and the cakes on offer are amazing and so lovely! Ideal for a coffee and cake stop! The menu for breakfast feels a little limited. Many of the dishes feel “egg heavy” but there are some other options. I feel like they are missing an opportunity for a brunch menu. Our recent experience was very mixed as we loved the food and coffees but the noise of the cafe in the bottom section was incredibly loud, and service was quite poor (uninterested staff, hard to get their attention). It could’ve been a bad and busy morning but it did stick with us and mirrors some of the other recent reviews. Please get back to the old Trellis we love and remember!

Foods always amazing and can tell it’s home cooked, the service is amazing and makes you feel at ease. Love this wee cafe and will always come back. The haggis cheeseburger is very good 😁

Popped in after a walk for a plate of soup and a coffee. Funnily enough when the soup arrived my initial thought was " I hope it tastes better than it looks " Unfortunately it didn't...probably the worst tasting soup I've had in years . Watery, pale and totally bland...it was meant to be Vegetable but I couldn't actually work out WHAT it tasted of...but it wasn't pleasant. A few mouthfuls was enough for me and I left the rest. Staff member who came to clear it away didn't even bother to ask if there was something wrong, in fact she didn't say a word...says it all really . £10 for a soup and a coffee. We won't be going back .

We were warmly welcomed to the restaurant and the service we received was excellent. We didn't feel like having a big lunch so were going to have the soup, the waiter asked if we liked Indian cuisine to which we all said yes and he said we could have a small portion of items on the menu. So we did, the waiter asked if we liked spicy and tailored our order to suit our preferences. The food was presented well and was the best tikka masala I've had. I can't fault it and would highly recommend. Thank you.

I'm afraid I won't be back. Went to use the facilities and I went into toilets and heard giggling didn't hang around but imagine my dismay when 2 of your cleaners came out of said toilets doing up trousers and straightening themselves up!. Absoloutley disgusting. I've the names of both. To say I'm appalled is an understatement. I came in to shop not witness sex acts. In uniform at the workplace! I'll be informing my friends and family. If this is how you allow your staff to behave! Disgusting if my daughter had been with me and saw that I'd have rang the polis straight away!

Friendly helpful service. Lovely homemade soup with plenty of choice of sandwiches/toasted sandwiches also bread choice. Comfortable place to sit. Reasonable price.

With a few global giants nearby this independent knocks them for six in terms of quality and value. Recently reopened, post covid closure and I urge people to support this and other independent businesses, but only if they deserve it as this one clearly does. I had a bacon and a square sausage roll for breakfast and both were lovely. Returned on my last day for another bacon roll and had a couple of takeout rolls for later on the long train ride back home to Birmingham. Nice staff, nice place, deserves support. Recommended.
