We stop by sometimes for a quick lunch. The food is good, nice paninis and cakes. The coffee though, it depends on who makes it because only a couple of them can do it properly. I wonder why not all the staff is well trained? It's such a shame but you can totally taste the difference

£3.40 for a bacon roll - little bit pricey! Nothing special, roll was smothered in butter and a bacon was cold! Good location in town but probably won’t be going back.

I popped in today having past this cafe previously but thought I’d support a local business rather than opting for a high street chain - unfortunately this left me rather disappointed! I order a fruit scone and a hot chocolate, both arrived pretty promptly but I had to ask for a knife for my scone and got no spoon for my drink. The plate the scone came on was either dirty or sitting next to something else as it had reside of what appeared to be some sort of chutney. The butter was hard and the scone very dry - next time I’ll stick to somewhere I know.

All was going quite well on my visit. Promt service with a smile. Soup was great. I was a satisfied customer. However on leaving the cafe with my child in a wheelchair, I stood back to allow a staff member past who was carrying bowls of soup who then stopped in her tracks and said to another staff member, whilst refering to a mum with a pushchair. "Oh I cant get by for that F**king buggy now" No soup in the world is good enough to go back too when its served by someone who does'nt value their customers. There was quite a few puschairs in and my childs wheelchair is of the same size as a pushchair, but parents with young children do tend to have puschairs and they have every right to eat in a cafe, without being made feel that they are in the way. If the staff feel that a pushchair is stopping them from performing their duties they need to take it up with the manager/owner and look into ways of making it more accessible and not voice their opinion on the shop floor in such a vulgar manner.

We ordered two mugs of tea - one Earl Gray and one English Breakfast.Arrived at table and presented in identical pots and large cups.Which was which? Normally easy to tell apart as Earl Grey has the distinctive Bergamot smell. Unfortunately we couldn't tell any difference between the two from the pot. Neither could the staff when taken back to the counter. Apparently the difference is in the size of the teabag?? Back at the table and when poured out the Earl Grey was not Earl Grey (more dark brown). Sadly disappointed. Get the basics right and the rest will follow.

The big breakfast costs nearly £7.00.This consisted of 2 slices of cold bacon, slice of cold black pudding, slice of cold square sausage and scrambled egg which was hot. Also a pancake. i don't think this is value for money at all and was on my way to work so i had no time to send it back. i won't be back though

The cafe was very cold we wanted a breakfast with poached eggs and brown toast which they don't do. Ended up with white roll with microwaved bacon cold tea. Even the cups were so cold the tea was also. The one person serving was very pleasant. Would not go again over £16 for three

Popped in for a quick coffee before a meeting. Coffee was reasonable but the young server was very sullen, no eye contact or smile. Coffee was brought over quickly though as the place was mostly empty.

I had a couple of hours to kill in Stirling while my car was being serviced so rather than sit around the garage I opted to go across to town for some breakfast. Sadly, I opted for the wrong place. At £6.50 for their ‘big one’ fried breakfast (they’ve obviously named it ironically) then another £2.10 for a cup of tea, at that price I thought I’d be quite safe. Not so ! No option for how I’d like my egg ... you’ll be having the scrambled, take it or leave it. One slice of square sausage, one very thin slice of back pudding and three slices of bacon ... all overdone and very dry, one slice of toast (no side plate - had to spread it on the table). Also not enough milk with the tea and no napkin. On the upside though, the service was quick - as well it might be, there was only one other person in. Make no mistake, I’m not looking for cordon bleu cooking from a café but I wish I’d just looked a bit harder and found a Wetherspoons or similar and eaten (a bit) better for a lot cheaper. Totally NOT recommended.

It was my first time at our place café today in Stirling. Me and the person who was with me got a Panini each, they got a soup which was nice and I got a coffee. Only positive was that the soup was nice. There needs to be a huge improvement firstly based on the hygiene of the place, When we came in it wasn't that busy but there was tables that were dirty crumbs all over the floor.I was very disappointed when I got my coffee to see that there was a big crack in the side of the mug, which I think is poor in a café, as it is a man fest for germs and injury. the sandwiches were rotten, both of us couldn't eat them . To conclude this review the staff were all very young and lacked communication and customer service. I think by adding someone to the floor with more experience and someone to clean around would really benefit this café. Also the sandwidges need to up there game for the price.

I specifically came here to write this review because of the soup. I've long been a fan but hadn't been in for a while. Last Sunday I popped in with a friend after a cycle and we both had the sweet potato and chilli - amazing. I returned solo today and had the chicken soup plus a cheese and tuna melt toastie and a cuppa - all for just over 8 quid! However I bumped the price up as I just had to have another bowl of the soup. I've said it before and I'll say it again - what makes your soups exceptional is that they're not too fancy. Just a decent bowl of soup with excellent flavour. Don't change this format!!

Been many times to this cafe and love home made soup. The past 3 visits have been really disappointing. Popped in this week and was offered 4 different kinds of soups. The split pea was horrible and sadly lacking in any taste. Won't be back.

popped in here today for some lunch - large chills full of option for sandwiches, toasties, panini's, baguettes - take your pick of fillings and had over to be toasted for you. Or have a jacket potato with loads of filling options, a choice of 3 home made soups, mac & cheese or nachos. Lots of selection, served politely and efficiently. All at a very very good price.

went in here for a breakfast before my train home, when my breakfast came ,I would of walked out and found another place if I had time. bacon was full of fat ,scrambled egg was watery, "sausage" was the cheap squares I would expect from a cheap fast food resturant. And to make it worse I now feel sick and that's all it could be from.

Stopped in Stirling for lunch, wide variety of food choices and an amazing veg and lentil soup on a cold Scottish May afternoon. The cafe has great sized tables for a family of four plus a newborn and an easy to access facility for baby changing on the same level as main cafe.

On visiting Stirling we were searching for a quick mid morning coffee and trying desperately to avoid the high street changes which most of the main shopping areas are overrun with. We were delighted to come across this independently run coffee shop - the smell of soup was too delicious to not have a bowl so we made it an early lunch. It was lovely. Nice personal service from the owners and it’s so lovely to see freshly homemade prepared food which has been vacuum sealed to within an inch of its life! Would highly recommend

With a few global giants nearby this independent knocks them for six in terms of quality and value. Recently reopened, post covid closure and I urge people to support this and other independent businesses, but only if they deserve it as this one clearly does. I had a bacon and a square sausage roll for breakfast and both were lovely. Returned on my last day for another bacon roll and had a couple of takeout rolls for later on the long train ride back home to Birmingham. Nice staff, nice place, deserves support. Recommended.

Beautiful little place serving tasty coffee & a fabulous menu. We only had scones which are freshly made & super tasty but I would prefer clotted cream not squirty cream. Friendly staff & fab decor & comfy seats. The window display is beautiful

We have enjoyed visiting The Aizle many times over the past several years for both soup and a toastie or tea/coffee and cake. The staff are always friendly and efficient but the main attraction is the cakes which, although pricey are absolutely delicious. We had visited in May and had two teas and an americano coffee with hot milk and of course the cakes. Unfortunately, when we went there at the weekend, it is now apparently the practice to charge extra for the massive expense and effort involved in steaming a spoonful of milk to have with the coffee which means that a small cup of americano coffee which costs £2.65, presumably with cold milk, now has a surcharge of 75p, making it £3.40. We visit many restaurants and cafes and no-one else makes this additional charge so it really seems like greed. We won't be back.
