Enjoyed breakfast here and had no issues at all. Food was very good and the coffee excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Prices very reasonable.

I visited the cafe on Saturday for the second time. The cafe was a little busier today than my previous visit, and rather understaffed. We waited quite a length of time to receive a menu to look at. Although we waited a while to receive a menu and to receive our drinks order, the food did arrive at the table in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, my soup was cold. I alerted the waitress regarding this, and she took the soup away to be reheated. Something I was rather unimpressed with, as I would expect the soup of the day to be ready and kept heated in a soup urn, especially in an establishment like this. My hot chocolate that I ordered was also luke warm, something I did not alert the waitress about as she was extremely rushed off her feet and I really did take pity for both waitresses. The young girl and mother of the owner were a credit to the team and I could tell that they were both trying their hardest to keep the customers as satisfied as possible. I wish I could say the same for the owner — her staff clearly care more about the reputation of the business than the owner herself does. I settled my bill, which I found rather expensive for what we had received. I therefore requested a full itemised receipt, something the young girl had to ask the owner to assist with. This was due to the staff learning the new till system. I advised the owner that I was requesting the receipt due to the quality of the items received. The owner's attitude quickly turned very rude and commented that I did not raise the issue at the time. I advised that I had raised the issue regarding my soup. The attitude of the owner was absolutely appalling, and she clearly does not take well to any negative comments regarding her business. The receipt was thrown at me, and she shouted at me to leave, right in front of other customers. Every business has their own flaws once in a while — it is only natural! It is the responsibility of the business owner to accept the mistakes made and work to rectify these. There is absolutely no need to react and be rude to a customer just because a minor problem has been raised. I think it is safe to say I will not be returning to this establishment due to the attitude of the owner. As previously mentioned, the general staff were both very helpful, and I could clearly see how hard they were both working. I do not like posting negative comments about a business publicly, but unfortunately on this occasion, I feel this matter had to be addressed.

Ein süßes Café mit kleinem Laden inklusive, indem sie auch aussergewöhnliche lokale Produkte verkaufen. Bedienung ist extrem freundlich und das vegane Frühstück war ein Traum!

I could not recommend this place more! I enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast which eased my hungover head. I adore these kind of breakfasts and this was by far the best I had in a very long time. Food 10/10. Then! I stupidly forgot my headphones at the café, they then returned it free of charge. The people at whisk away are very good people, friendly, caring and everything you need. Thank you whisk away!! 11/10 for the whole experience:))

We had to wait for 45 mins for a bacon roll and french toast! By the time it came my tea was cold and my daughter had finished her drink. Average food. We were fed up by then and didn’t enjoy it at all. My daughter had ordered raspberries with her French toast. But instead got bacon. Luckily she is not a vegetarian and just scraped the bacon off.Very poor service - sadly we are local and will definitely not be back. No offer of a reduction was made but in the long run they are the losers as we are a big family who often eat out.

This is the second time I have visited this cafe with my family (2 adults and toddler). I would not recommend. Although the cafe looks nice and has a lovely play area for children, the food is very overpriced and poor portions/quality. My daughter is 2 with a good appetite, both times we have ordered from the 3-5 year old menu for her and both times she asked for more. The chicken goujons she had were very dry on this occasion. She enjoyed the pancakes but the portion was so small we asked for more and had to pay extra to get this. It cost almost 6 pounds for 2 chicken goujons, a handful of chips and a tablespoon of beans. The staff are friendly but service poor, despite the cafe being moderately busy we didn't recieve any cutlery for her and the only high chair available was dirty.

This must be one of the worst pubs I have been in. Tables were filthy , floors were sticky and staff were uninterested. We ordered two drinks and could not find a clean table, then after using the toilets and actually feeling the stickiness of the floor , left. There are so many nice bars in this area, if you see it ... walk on by ! Giving it one star is flattering!!

Visited 3 times in 5 days and probably spent more on coffee than we did on merchandise (and Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). Excellent coffee, lovely cake selection and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. View to the Cairngorms outstanding and our doggy companions most welcome.

Dreadful food. After waiting for more than 40 minutes our inedible burgers arrived. Mine had 2 pieces of lettuce and a dry patty that was inedible until I added barbecue sauce. By the time the sauce arrived it was cold so even less pleasant. My husband's burger had bacon that was so hard he couldn't cut it. And the same patty. I gave an honest answer when asked about my meal and suggested they needed a new cook. It was the worst meal I have eaten in years. I'm told it used to be good. Avoid it at all costs.

Fantastic to have so many GF options to eat. We both opted for GF pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a coffee. The coffee was perfection and the pancakes utterly delicious. Big, fluffy and just THE best find in Inverness! Thank you ❤️
