Even the owner was wearing a coat! I think you should be able to sit comfortably and eat without the need to wear a coat! At 12.15 the soup wasn't ready yet... The place lacked atmosphere as well. The food we ordered was nice but minimal - no salad with a toasty. I wouldn't go again

The coffee here is fantastic and there is a large and creative variety of drinks to choose from. I always go here when I fancy a takeaway coffee in Dingwall. The staff are very friendly and efficient - and the food is brilliant too! My personal favourite is the tuna melt! I would love to see wraps on the menu if they are not already.

We stopped here to get a bite of breakfast, we had two bacon rolls a coffee and a juice, the coffee was lovely and the bacon rolls were yummy, the rolls were soft and floury, almost like freshly baked ones! The cafe is cosy and comfortable and warm and we received really good service.

If you are a serious coffee drinker, there is only one place to go in Dingwall. No knicknacks for sale on the side,or dimity table napkins. Just decent coffee, home baking and good sandwiches. Friendly, competent staff. Highly recommended

The café is bright, warm and very inviting, there is a good selection of sandwiches, Baguettes, toasties and cakes. I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first, but the Carrot Soup sounded lovely, so I was given a little sample to try and as it was very nice I went with it, I decided to have the Ham & Turkey Baguette which was also very nice. The tea was just perfect on our first cup from the pot, but by the time we had our second it was a little strong, but they topped up the teapot with fresh water for us which was nice.

Have been going here for nearly a year now for lunch and myself and my colleagues used to love it ! Since there has been a change in staff the place has gone in to the ground. I visited today for a couple of baguettes (i didn't think that was too difficult!). On ordering, I had to repeat my order at least 4 times before the girl finally started making it. She then disappeared for 5 minutes and came back to tell me they had no baguettes, and no chicken. So I had to have sandwiches instead. When I asked for white bread, she told me they only had wholemeal. So I went with it....I waited for at least 20 minutes, to be presented with two sandwiches both with one very large chunk of 'ham' in them. It looked like something my 6 year old niece made, only worse ! After a charge of £16.70 for two sandwiches and a cake - I left. When I got to the car and checked the sandwiches, I thought I couldnt justify giving these to my colleagues when they had given me money to get their lunch, so I chucked them in the bin and went to harry gow instead! Oh and their 'salad' that you are now given, is apparently two slices of lettuce....... The last time I went in I asked for a ham and cheese sandwich and a chicken and salad sandwich...I received a chicken and cheese sandwich and a ham salad sandwich from the same member of staff - surely its not that difficult ? There is a wonderful piece of stationary now called pen and paper which most cafes use to write orders down, so as the customer actually gets what they asked for. Sort yourselves out its daylight robbery! And do not advertise food which you cannot provide! Get your old staff back and get the place running properly again as it is a total shambles just now! Should you wish to contact me to give me my money back for the inedible food you gave to me - it would be much appreciated!

A simple cafe. My wife ordered a pulled pork burger with rosemary garlic and sea salt wedges. I ordered a chicken tikka sandwich. I can't complain about the sandwich, a standard affair, however I received it 10 mins before my wife got her burger. It was served in a brioche bun which was over toasted. I'm not a fan of this recent brioche fad but if you must use them don't over toast them, they fall into a thousand bits. Also the roll is LOADED with coleslaw (not advertised), fine if you love coleslaw but a waste if you don't. The wedges were half a baked potato cut into 4 pieces and reheated in a halogen oven, if there was rosemary, garlic and sea salt (as advertised) on the wedges it was a well kept secret from my wife. The cafe was clean and the staff/owner was friendly enough but it was a hellava lot to get wrong on a little plate of food

We enjoyed panini, baked potato, toasted sandwich and a baguette, thesoup looked good too. I felt prices were a wee bit high but the food was fresh and tasty and allergies catered for with no problem. We didn't have any of the home baking but it looked lovely too. Comfy sofas. Recommended

Stopped of whilst travelling around the Highlands with my wife for some lunch. The Caffe Savini is very basic and well laid out and caters for the simpler pallet. The freshly baked cakes were a plentiful and the toasty and salad was very nice as well as being a good portion size. The price was very reasonable and would recommend it for a lunch break in the Highlands. Like other comments the Coffee was exceptional and made the stop for lunch all the more justified looking forward to returning again some time in the future.

Not many places to eat in Dingwall so a bonus that this cafe actually serves nice food. Prices a tad on the steep side but don't mind paying if the quality is good.

The coffee is amazing, the best around. It keeps me going back for more. The soup is fantastic, you hardly need to ask what it is as it is consistently good. However I recently tried their summer vegetable soupl and I have to say it was the best soup I have ever tasted,There is always a freindly welcome when you go in and the staff are always attentive.

We stopped here for lunch to break up a trip. We ordered a toasted sandwich, a bacon roll and soft drinks which were served within 5 minutes. Both freshly cooked and tasty. It seems the machine behind the counter that was used for preparing our meal was incredibly fast!Service was good and the prices are very reasonable too. Toilets clean.I would recommend this cafe for a simple quick lunch. The main car park in Dingwall is free which is an added bonus.

I had been visiting family in Dingwall and called in for a breakfast which was advertised as "Big Breakfast" After ordering some drinks and receiving the wrong order we were given two pieces of toast each, there was a five minute delay after this before the breakfast arrived. The plates can only be described as side plates, and on them was a pale and dried out mess. The food had no colour and the tomatoes were 3 small baby plum tomatoes, the breakfast had been cooked in a large halogen oven. After pushing the food around our plates for five minutes we left the cafe,as there were four of us it was a reasonably expensive meal,as the breakfast was £6.99 each and was the worst breakfast I have had to pay for.The manager was also rude to his staff and appeared to be panicking when he received a large order.A definite NO if you are hungry and expecting a good meal.

Up in the Black Isle for the weekend and popped in here for lunch. Does lovely toasties with good quality bread and lovely fillings. I particularly liked the quality ham in the toastie instead of waver thin stuff filled with water. Had a lovely thick milkshake which went down well also!

Been to this cafe as few times now as I think dingwall is very limited for places to eat, it is nothing fancy prices are very high for what you get. Also not child friendly at all no childrens menu. Only one choice of bread also!! After my last visit with children I have decided not to go back again, paid a lot of money for food which children refused to eat!!

We visited this coffee shop having read the reviews on Trip Advisor expecting the coffee to be something special, but it wasn't. Strong coffee yes, but quite bitter. Cakes were OK but no better than available elsewhere locally. It may be the best in Dingwall and indeed is much better than the Courtyard Café but it is still worth the few extra miles to the Museum Café at the old Victorian railway station in Strathpeffer.

Found ourselves in Dingwall due to the weather situation, so decided on a walking tour of the town. A great place for a decent sized stroll, as the route is well posted and you are never too far from the town.We parked behind the High Street shops beside the GP clinic, and made our way into town. We looked at a few cafes from the outside, and decided to give this place a whirl.Decent sized, the seats were comfy and there was good quality WiFi, which in the area is about as available as a teetotal Highlander. The guy running the place and his young sidekick could not have been more pleasant, and the coffees were good quality and as good as anything you would get in the big smoke. This looks like a young business worth supporting. Sure the menu could do with some additions, and I felt the usual coffee style biscuits were thin on the ground, but I'm a picky so and so.The chippy next door, if you are around at lunchtime when Dingwall Academy pupils are around, is the most popular eatery for school kids. Note to their parents _ this kind of stuff ain't good for your beloved.Back to the cafe though, and this is definitely worth a whirl if you are in Dingwall. Take the town circular walk, see some great views and Victorian architecture, and then reward yourself with a brew here.

A lovely new addition to the eating scene in Ross-shire- a very badly needed coffee shop that actually serves GOOD coffee. Small and unpretentious , clean and comfortable if a little sparse. A few more squashy sofas wouldnt go amiss. A good, simple menu- always a good sign. excellent paninis and home made soup, baked potatoes and sandwiches. Fabulous home bakes. But the coffee is the star! Lovely, personal and helpful service- like it used to be...I wont go to any other coffee shop in Dingwall now.

This must be one of the worst pubs I have been in. Tables were filthy , floors were sticky and staff were uninterested. We ordered two drinks and could not find a clean table, then after using the toilets and actually feeling the stickiness of the floor , left. There are so many nice bars in this area, if you see it ... walk on by ! Giving it one star is flattering!!

Visited 3 times in 5 days and probably spent more on coffee than we did on merchandise (and Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). Excellent coffee, lovely cake selection and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. View to the Cairngorms outstanding and our doggy companions most welcome.

Dreadful food. After waiting for more than 40 minutes our inedible burgers arrived. Mine had 2 pieces of lettuce and a dry patty that was inedible until I added barbecue sauce. By the time the sauce arrived it was cold so even less pleasant. My husband's burger had bacon that was so hard he couldn't cut it. And the same patty. I gave an honest answer when asked about my meal and suggested they needed a new cook. It was the worst meal I have eaten in years. I'm told it used to be good. Avoid it at all costs.

Fantastic to have so many GF options to eat. We both opted for GF pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a coffee. The coffee was perfection and the pancakes utterly delicious. Big, fluffy and just THE best find in Inverness! Thank you ❤️
