The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Overall this was fairly disappointing. We had the signature breakfast and poached eggs with avocado on ‘toast’. Unfortunately none of the bread was toasted, which is a problem when the dish is supposed to be something on toast. The signature breakfast was lukewarm and clearly not made fresh. Also overpriced. On the plus side, the food was relatively tasty, arrived quickly, and the coffee was good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

This place is getting worse. 3 staff behind the counter and me and one other waiting to order. No one acknowledged us and stood waiting, being ignored, while they made Uber eats / deliveroo orders with their backs to us. Ended up walking out, again, but for the last time. Not going back. It's a scruffy dump, poor / overworked staff and ridiculously expensive. I reckon it will close soon there's never anyone in.

Pedí huevos escalfados en tostadas y me dijeron que se habían agotado los huevos escalfados, pero podría haber revuelto o frito. Cuando les pregunté si tenían huevos para freír, por qué no podía tener 2 escalfados me dijeron que se los entregan ya escalfados. Decir que estaba disgustado es una exageración. Los cafés Morrison ya no son adecuados para su propósito. No era la primera vez que tenía motivos para quejarme. Otro de sus cafés sirve salsa instantánea que no se puede verter fuera de la jarra incluso cuando se sostiene boca abajo - y un pastel que no se puede conseguir un cuchillo en. Ciérrenlos.

25 minute to pay, then another 20 minute wait for food after having to chase it twice, drinks were cold and we'd finished them before our food arrived. 1 member of staff on till, 30 people in the queue waiting as we left. Shocking service, totally disorganised. Don't bother!!!

Well thought I would treat myself on a sat morning to a full English ! After ordering it plus an extra fried egg it arrived …….. the slice of bacon was poor quality and the sausages were awful . Due to this I decided to leave half of it ! Come on Morrison’s put some decent quality food on the plate . Pity as the staff were pleasant.

Excellent customer service from Holly in the cafe this morning. She totally exceeded my expectations and it was clear how was she the same with other customers. Even something as simple as being honest about the strength of the teabags. So many cafes will only give you one tea bag but I was told that if the tea was too weak then take another teabag.

After waiting in the queue for 5 minutes my son started getting anxious and can lead to him getting upset he is autistic We decided to leave and an extremely rude women shouted at us and told us not to use the cafe as a cut through hardly a cut through with a bloody wheelchair is it think they need to think very strongly about sending there staff on a customer care course I for 1 won't set foot in there again beyond rude

Poorly customer service from the girl behind the counter and when she asked her colleagues if they could make a caramel iced coffee they sighed. The iced coffee it’s self was shocking and was cheaply done, nothing that could not have been done at home. I asked for two buns and one in a box and she just threw in the bun to the box. Then I asked if I could pay half cash and half card and she’s Replied with I do t have time for that as there was a slight que behind me.

Llamé aquí justo cuando estaban abriendo el lunes festivo. Había probado la barra de barista en esta tienda en varias ocasiones y siempre me había impresionado la calidad y el precio del café. Sin embargo, esta fue mi primera visita al café, pero ahora probablemente será la última.Pedí un sándwich de salchicha que era terrible ya que las salchichas eran claramente las más baratas y desagradables que pudieron encontrar, verdaderas monstruosidades grasosas. Con mucho gusto hubiera pagado más por salchichas adecuadas, ya que eran prácticamente incomestibles. Para agravar mi decepción, mi café, aunque se sirve en una máquina, estaba tibio. Este fue el último día del plan del gobierno para comer fuera para ayudar, así que mi desayuno estaba a mitad de precio; aun así, todavía siento que me han cobrado drásticamente de más.

Not great customer service arrived there at lunch time and was not busy at all about 12 people sat down at tables.A staff popped her head round from the kitchen saw us waiting to be served ignored us and went back into the kitchen.When we asked to be served the same member of staff told us there was a 30 minute wait for food .We’d already got our drinks from the self service dispenser so had to stay and pay for them !!We were later told by another member of staff that there was no waiting times on there screen for food obviously the serving member of staff just could not be bothered!!!Very poor customer service and staff member needs sacking in my opinion!!

Over an hour before closing time, to be told we wasn’t allowed one mug due to there being too much washing up to be done. Very unapologetic and just plain rude. Upstairs was filthy, old cups everywhere and no clean tables. Very disappointing visit.

Absolutely terrible breakfast, bacon ans sausage uncooked when I told a member of staff sll she said was it's because it's cooked in a combi oven everything cold, couldn't eat it, never seen anything so disgusting.

No improvement since our last visit. A 20 minute wait to order. Table filthy and unhygienic. It hadn't been wiped clean. Cutlery was not that salubrious either with fingerprints and food residue on. Such a shame, as it could be really good if it were better staffed and better run.

Not a massive fan of Morrisons, but thought we would give it another try. Nothing has changed. Chips were....well.....hard. I was going to call it a day and leave, but was hungry so persevered.... wrong decision...one of the bullet chips got lodged in my throat....serious I could not breath...it was scary....coughing like crazy and not one person seemed to care....suddenly, gagging and wretching on the little beast, threw up thankfully and lived to write this review. Sorry to the cleaner, but it was not my fault...at least I am alive. Embarrassed, annoyed, but alive. Soup for me in future.

My client and I visited Grind (top level of Ridings) for a drink and cake after his appointment in town. When we arrived at 3:20 PM, the shop looked closed. The man behind the counter took our order but reminded us that they closed at 4:00 PM, stating that it will only give us only 40 minutes to sit down, I would understand him stating this if we had arrived closer to closing time. As I ordered, I noticed the tea bag selection wasn’t out as usual, so I had to ask what teas they had. While our drinks were being made, the man behind the counter started closing off the pop and sandwich fridge. Another customer arrived while we were drinking, and I heard him tell them they also had a time limit and that he would be closing at 4:00 PM and stated he would be asking people to leave. We felt rushed and couldn’t enjoy our visit. As we left around 3:40 PM, the brownie and cake cabinet was empty, and the whole café looked closed off to the public.
