The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Propper friendly little sports bar with John Smiths, clean, well-kept toilets, lovely staff. No food but the usual crisps and nuts. Later on, they had karaoke. Easy to walk to from car park. All on one level, no steps and there is a beer garden.

Hostile, Suspicious Bar Staff, Horrible Atmosphere. Place was Deserted on a Friday night. I was catching up to friends from Old White Hart . I bought a whisky for £7 (!!!), poor value. It was a big place and I went to find the toilets and see if my friends where in the beer garden. Barmaid accosted me and asked with a really nastyattitude 'can I help you?'....like I was trying to rob the place. There was absolutely no reason for her to be acting like that. Someone with an attitude like that should not be public facing.

All overcooked, eggs and bacon hard.£ 18 !!!! What a disgrace. Toast white.

Took my mum for afternoon tea. The teacakes were barely warm, let alone toasted, and they were sort of stale-dry. They were each served with a gigantic blob of oily spread (definitely not butter). The teapots were stained with drips and rather grubby. The tables were tatty. So all in all in all a rather disappointing experience, particularly as it cost over £13. The place is definitely understaffed (they were quite nice, just rushed). This was especially evident when walking past the kitchen, which was, let's say, not exactly spotless. Won't be going again. I'm sure it was ok before, but that was a while ago...

First time visit to Lakeside country bar. We walked into a lovely warm reception. I think we have found a new favourite place to eat. Lovely log fires we felt so welcome and homely. The food was amazing thankyou. Looking out over the lake eating lunch With my family. I had lasagne it was the best, we all had different and every meal was presented well and tasted fab. Thankyou to all staff and chefs We will see you soon x

Asqueroso. ..si tienes hambre no te molestes en esperar cuarenta. minutos para comer cualquier cosa de aquí. ..tan malo que fue casi divertido

Pedí un desayuno. Sin salchichas. Esperó 25 minutos para que llegara. Lo único bueno eran los hongos. Los marrones eran duros. ¡Nunca antes había tenido un hachís duro! ¡Absolutamente horrible! Fui advertido e ignoré el consejo. ¡No volverá!

Precioso café y tostadas después de la cita en el hospital. Odio tener café y comida de platos desechables como va a cerrar. Personal agradable como de costumbre pero preparándose para cerrar 14 : 00 . No es lo mismo que beber de la vajilla adecuada.

Nice surroundings, but I don’t think the food matches up. My friend went for the salmon and cream cheese bagel which came with ‘salad’. A few mixed leaves and a couple of bits of onion and pepper…no dressing. I opted for a scotch egg with the same dismal salad. It was the worst scotch egg I’ve tasted and I left most of it. We did complain about the dryness of the salad and were given some dressing. We both had speciality teas which came in half full small t pots and we had to ask for more hot water. Additionally (and I am being picky here) but it smelt of fried food which clung to our clothes. To be fair the staff were lovely and I was kindly not charged for my food. However, this place could be a little gem if the food was more thought out.

Expected speedy service due to how quiet it was but my posh beans on toast took 25 minutes to arrive and the poached egg was rock solid, it would have been a much better idea walking 10 minutes into the town centre and eating somewhere with a good cook

Was a nice place but the new set up is a joke....queued for 40 mins to get served and it was very hot in there....a customer even passed out and I'm sure it was due to the long wait and heat.... People were leaving the queue and saying they would go somewhere else... Looking at the set up it would not take much to speed it up but you keep flogging a dead horse....either sort it or shut it...most people were elderly and really do not need to stand for that amount of time... Table service would have been better but this has to be the worst set up I have ever seen in a cafe and this was a Monday afternoon... Please avoid this place until it's sorted....

Overall this was fairly disappointing. We had the signature breakfast and poached eggs with avocado on ‘toast’. Unfortunately none of the bread was toasted, which is a problem when the dish is supposed to be something on toast. The signature breakfast was lukewarm and clearly not made fresh. Also overpriced. On the plus side, the food was relatively tasty, arrived quickly, and the coffee was good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Disfrutamos de nuestro scone, mermelada y crema con nuestros cafés, PERO nos disgusta la música sonando fuerte a través de los altavoces y a menudo tenemos que levantar la voz para escucharnos. Some staff are ok, one particular person has always been very rude and arrogant on multiple occasions, he would go in a huff when HE got my order wrong then proceeded to slam my drink down on the counter without a word ! Horrendous behaviour very disappointing
