Asked for poached eggs on toast and was told that they had sold out of poached eggs but I could have scrambled or fried. When I asked if they have eggs for frying, why I could not have 2 poached I was told that they are delivered to them already poached. To say that I was disgusted is an understatement. Morrisons cafe's are no longer fit for purpose. This was not the first time that I have had cause to complain. Another of their cafe's served instant gravy that you could not pour out of the jug even when held upside-down and a pie that you could not get a knife in. Close them down.

Visted this store after dropping my stepson. Thought fancy breakfast. Got there 8.15 had to wait for cook to serve me anyway ordered a breakfast and a coffee went to machine it was off. No signage. The chef told me to come back 5 mins. I gave 10 after seeing other customers with drinks. Grabbed a white coffee. Went and sat had a mouthful and could tell straight away something was seriously wrong. I then approached another member of staff who quickly disappeared into the back with my drink and said it was water. After seeing her top the milk up I could see I must have drank something bad. Spoke to manager who said he would investigate and sought medical advice as I am diabetic and was violently sick same night and day after. Accidents happen but biggest lesson here is signage and staff cover. Agree with other comments about mess as saw with my own eyes and I must have been one of first customers. Offered £50 compensation for my troubles which I declined. Await response from head office.

Breakfast was really quite disgusting. Fried egg was rock solid and swimming in oil which contaminated the plate. Mushroom full of oil but also raw?? ‘Clean’ cups all dirty. Hash brown and sausage were ok but you can’t really get that wrong. Do not eat here if you have any standards

Sunday lunch consists of thin slices of sandwich beef, instant potatoes, a few peas and carrots. That's it! No yorkshire pudding and it was all pretty tasteless. I had mine delivered so I'd already paid or they wouldn't have got a penny. Don't waste your time here.

Non existent serice both coffee machines not working, You could tell what the person on the till had eaten for the last two weeks as it was all down his front, like something off wrong turn, the meal was luke warm and missing beans, so complained and they brough a small half full ramakin of beans and chucked it on table without a word, eggs were solid and chips were dregs out of a bag not more than an inch long. to call this a cafe is a joke, i cant beleive adults are in charge

Visited Morrison's Skegness on 20th September for lunch. Bought a salmon sandwich - used to be red salmon and filled quite thickly. Now, it was an anaemic, thin paste with three slices of cucumber. The cucumber was sliced so thinly, you could barely see it. Couple this with a revolting cold coffee - totally unacceptable for £8. Convinced that the management are deliberately engineering such cost-cutting. Last visit from me.

Utter inflexible garbage As someone with food intolerances I do not appreciate asking for changes to a breakfast to be told I can remove but not replace items and my only option is to pay for additional items I can eat, Furthermore not having a lactose alternative and having to go into the store to buy my own is not just ridiculous but verging on disrespectful.

Shameful food for supermarket dirty table and cutlery, my wifes fish pie had to be sent back because it was cold, my sweet potato curry came with nam bread but they had run out so brought out substitute garlic bread without asking and it was not warm or toasted.

Staff , service , cleanliness is not how it was . It’s almost as it they are trying to cut corners and make the customer suffer for low profits . So much so , that I don’t call for a breakfast or meet up for a coffee anymore , sorry but it’s poor .

So I popped into the cafe at Morrison’s for a veggie breakfast. I wish I hadn’t basically. Staff who clearly give the impression that they are bored was not a great start. Main problem? Luke warm food. It was all only “tepid” at best, and the only reason I ate it was that I was very hungry. I did speak to a manager, mainly to point out that the poached egg had never seen a poaching pan. It was hard and the whole point of poaching is to get a soft, runny yolk. Not in this instance unfortunately. The manager did offer a refund, but I didn’t take it as that really wasn’t the point of complaining. He also informed me that the reason that the egg was not poached properly was because they are “sent in already vacuum packed”????? So exactly WHEN the egg had been poached goodness knows, but it certainly hadn’t been done by the chef at Morrison’s cafe apparently. Needless to say it was a complete waste of time and money and one which means I won’t ever repeat. Disappointing really.

Staying in a local hotel, we did not think we would be able do justice to the amount of food available and therefore the cost so visited this place one morning for breakfast. We were so pleased that we came for a further 2 breakfasts and a dinner. The value for money was excellent and the staff, especially Darena were all very good. The review below concentrates on the dinner.

I understand that Morrisons are keen to maximize profits but what they have done is make sure anyone and everyone I know knows what a disgusting breakfast they serve. Had the small breakfast today which consisted of a very small piece of undercooked bacon. Impossible to tell if it was smaked or not. There was a large sausage with quite a lot of gristle but perhaps all Morrisons sausages have a large gristle content so it's "normal" for Morrisons. The hash brown was soggy on the inside and outside and really unpleasent. The half a tomatoe was OK but being tepid didn't help. Was impressed that Morrisons were able to serve poached egg within about 1.5 - 2 minutes of the order being made. Please tell me how you cook an egg with a solid yolk in less than 2 minutes. That being said the egg was edible but not enjoyable. The toast was about the most disgusting I have ever had but the pats of butter were perfectly accpetable. In fairness the beans served in a ramakin were perfectly accptable although there was too much watery tomatoe sauce. Probably the last time I'll risk eating at Morrisons. Normally I go to Wetherspoons in Woodseats but I was a bit time short. The price is almost the same but the experience and quality of food is vastly different.

Me and my daughter arrived at 19.40pm, 20 minutes before closing time. I had lamb shank and my daughter had sausage and Yorkshire pudding and both of our meals were delicious. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They were polite, friendly and made us feel really welcome. We will definitely go again

Myself and my husband visit this cafe quite regularly for breakfast and have never had a bad experience...until now, it started with trying to find a clean cup for me to have a coffee..it tuck a while, I usually have toast or a toasted t-cake but as I need to take medication on a full stomach I opted for the vegetarian breakfast and my husband had the 'big' breakfast, we went to sit down at a table but it was dirty so moved to another table which was as bad then 3rd time lucky it wasn't perfect but was cleaner, after waiting half an hour for food which was fair enough as they were quite busy breakfast came from a member of staff who was very pleasant. We started to eat and it was very nice until I spotted a hair which for me is the worst thing ever so I returned my food to the till point to which the member of staff just said 'oh dear' I didn't want another breakfast so told her I wanted my money back, a manager came over and never said a word and I got my money back then she said 'sorry about that' to little to late in my opinion it also put my husband off so he left his food aswell, needless to say we won't be eating there again.

Food okay but service was incredibly slow. No real pace. Fish and Chips took around half hour to be served! Saying that...good value for £7!

Poorly customer service from the girl behind the counter and when she asked her colleagues if they could make a caramel iced coffee they sighed. The iced coffee it’s self was shocking and was cheaply done, nothing that could not have been done at home. I asked for two buns and one in a box and she just threw in the bun to the box. Then I asked if I could pay half cash and half card and she’s Replied with I do t have time for that as there was a slight que behind me.

In new hands. In a day and age where people struggle to make a sandwich. These guys don't. Friendly wholesome staff to boot.

Not very nice, tuna sandwich was disgusting, tuna just slapped on the bread and wasn’t very appetising. Waiting time was around 20 mins and we were served this. Would not recommend. There was a private order going on so i understand the chef was busy.

Came in after a long day of walking in the Peak District and needed more snacks. Wasn't all that impressed by the dirt, dust and bits of debris strewn about the floor. The boy who took the order greeted us with all the enthusiasm of a secret arch-nemesis. There's a fairly extensive mention of milkshakes, waffles, ice creams, cakes and other unhealthy options. Ordered 2 Mint Aero cheesecake milkshakes. Both were good, but will not be coming back due to the general messiness of the place.
