I am deeply appalled by the treatment that we received in Morrisons this afternoon. If I could make this review a 0 out of 5, I would. If the staff thinks it’s okay to discriminate against teenagers for wanting to buy cookies or having a look at teddies, then they should work on that as the security guard shouted at us for having a look at the price of a cookie. In his words, “ You don’t pick items up if you don’t intend to buy them” this is silly as how would he know if we wanted to buy said cookie. Absolutely ridiculous.

Called in late afternoon after a long journey. The place was freezing cold inside ! Ordered the delicious sounding homemade lemonade but was told quite bluntly no, no one ever orders it! Also ordered a homemade scone and asked for it to be served cold but was rudely told that they had to be microwaved from frozen. Wouldn’t recommend or go back but it did provide us with a bit of Fawlty Towers type entertainment! Sadly, judging by other reviews this wasn’t a one-off.

What a grotty, tatty shop with dirty aisles and miserable lighting. Time for a revamp and that goes for the staff too. Rude and insensitive to customers with disabilities. I won’t shop there again until they spend some money on making the shopping experience more pleasant for the customer.

Thanks to the lady in Costa who handed in my daughter’s bag with her holiday spending money in. We were very grateful to her. Thank you.

After making a physical visit to check that the Store participated in the M and S Afternoon Tea. I returned today with my friends for a birthday treat only to be told it wasn't available due to not having certain items. When I queried this, the manager said it was available,if I wanted one choice of sandwiches, no strawberries or scones, due to no stock. I asked why it was still being advertised if not available, to which she replied, " it is but not today", and agreed it shouldn't have been with a flippant apology. Ruined my birthday surprise. Thank goodness for Wetherspoons.

After shopping in Primark needed respite and found it in Muffin Break. We had flat whites and cheese scones. The flat whites were great the scones were ok and all great value. Next time we’re in the Hill Street Centre we’ll definitely be calling in again.

We used to love this cafe together with a great, well stocked garden centre. Fabulous cakes, buns and meals and we've never had a problem. However, our visit during the first week in Jan 24 was an eye opener. I gave my cup back because it was dirty so was given a clean one. Both teapots were stained outside even though we only got hot water to put our specialty tea bags in. When we used some of the milk we found the inside of the jug was covered in black mould spots. The person I spoke to and showed the jug to just shrugged her shoulders and said everything goes through the dishwasher. Funnily enough my review on Google has been taken down as have the pictures of the filthy crockery.

Visited the cafe as was doing some work in the garden centre. I got a full English. A coffee and peice of parking. It cost £14.60 not only was it expensive but the bacon had been sat under the heat lamps for ages and was dry and tough. The sausages the same. The beans were cold I couldn't have black pudding as it was still frozen I was told. I was charged an extra £1.80 because I wanted toast with it. So not only was the breakfast already expensive but they also charged a fortune to add toast. I was so dissapoited. I can get a much much bigger better breakfast with unlimited filtered coffee and toast for £4.80 at the weither spoons in sowerby bridge. Apauling only thing nice about it was the coffee.
