Decent vegan breakfast and friendly service. Lovely looking little cafe too. Hard to find a vegan breakfast around here.

Daz, Tom & staff are a credit to Tesco. Been going for about a year now and always friendly and professional. The bacon baps are great!! Thank you for staying open for take-aways in Lockdowns 2 & 3. Kind Regards, Richard

Was quite shocked at the service at this place and the food was nothing to shout about to be honest..... The service is like military precision, stand in the wrong place and you are told to go to the back of the queue, I felt like a naughty school girl! Luckily the lady behind me did say I had stood in the queue in front of her, phew! When my food arrived, it was literally thrown on my table, on the tray by a waitress that never even said enjoy or made any comments at all.... not a good advert for this cafe. The food was OK, but would not rush back! I think the staff need to learn some manners tbh, they cost nothing!

All the breakfast products are nearly cold, especially the eggs! Warm bread........ that they call toast! Not going to waste anymore time going back however handy it is, sick off giving it another try! and having to send the food back for them to warm it up in microwave!i can think of a lot cheaper places with better warmer meals!Waste of time and money!

We ordered a veggie breakfast and a tomato and avocado on toast with extra toast. Really nicely presented, tasty and good value. My extra toast came with butter though, apparently they don't have margarine but I wish people would not serve butter with a vegan breakfast!! Service was quick though the cafe was quite empty.

I didnt even get in the cafe. Had to nip to the loo and a waitress with blue hair came out of the cubicle with her apron on !!!!! then barely washed her hands. I guess food hygiene doesnt rate in this place.

Expensive considering it's a cafe. Coffee was cold and had a funny taste for nearly £2.50. Very disappointed Won't be returning.

We had a quick snack in here today, and I must say, the cutlery was very dirty, as it was fairly busy, staff were extremely busy, so I wiped the utensils my self, just be aware of it when you call in....😞

I visited with my 10 year and 9 month old daughter for some lunch. I had the big breakfast and my eldest had chicken nuggets and chips. They came out hot and well presented. I enquired about how things had changed and was informed a new manager darren had taken over. The atomshere is so much better since he has taken over and over. Georgie was brilliant with my 9 month old when she came over with the free baby food that they provide and also took into great consideration my daughters milk allergy which I thought was fab as I struggle sometimes when we want to eat out.

The restaurant is not as good as it used to be. Food often cold, drinks also lukewarm. It is expensive for what you get. It is wheelchair and child- friendly. Tables could be cleared a bit quicker, and wiped down better. Won't visit again.

Why oh Why do some places use Cheap Sausages and expect people to pay High prices is beyond me. 2 Breakfasts with 2 Teas was around £15 the Bacon was nice but as for the rest it was Utter Rubbish. Sausages were Cheap and literally tasted of Nothing but Bread and Rusk. The eggs were like from a Joke Shop and nothing was really hot. To be fair this is a nice looking cafe but just let down on Good Quality if they were to give better Quality I'm sure this cafe could do better and at around £7.50 each for breakfast it's not that cheap either.

Tempted by a free hot drink...great. when we walked in we decided to grab a bite to eat. Sat down...no menus. One big menu at the main door. All had to stand near door to see what wanted. Ordered several items including cakes. Firstly they over charged me by £5 which i did get back after i went back up. Then they did not bring the cakes to my table after asking the staff 3 times, do we get served cakes at the table?? Why they dont serve them at the order point is beyond me. Cakes where dry and claggy. Free coffee was ok. Staff seemed rushed and uninterested. Poor service. Wont be tempted again.

Cafe altered a few months agoNow you order all your food and drinks at same point of service. Theory is ok so far until you have one member of staff on at 12.15 taking orders them actually making drinks. Drinks take a while to make, so a queue starts to develop. Just waited ten minutes to order two cappuccinos. Queue behind me was four people. Only when my order was made did a second member of staff appear. Come on Tesco, you need a member of staff taking orders and a member of staff making drinks at all but quiet times. All the range of coffees take time to make even if they are produced by a machine. Buck your ideas up Tesco because is is not good customer service. No complaints about staff, it's the management system

Long queue with only one person on the counter. Had the breakfast. The sausage was cheap quality the bacon over cooked and hard, no butter supplied with the toast and worse of all no egg. Having not been before i thought this was how it came but on checking the board when i left discovered I should have had one. I went to one of the servers and asked why I hadn't been given one and she checked my order and said she had no idea. No apology or offer of compensation. Overall not a good experience. Will not eat here again

This restaurant is called 'The Cafe' now, and is independant from Tesco's. I have been a couple of times and find the food to be ok... not bad, but when taking the prices into account it becomes very expensive for what you get. I have had the all day breakfast a couple of times and the steak pie as well, both are ok but nothing special. But the location is great... nice to have somewhere to get a decent cup of tea after a grueling shopping expedition. My wife liked it a bit more than I did, she liked the 'feel' of the place. Anyway, can't really recommend it, but there are worse places in town.

First of all, there are no table menus. There is a board by the door and one above the till. There is only one till so in busy periods there is quite a queue. The food takes a little while to come out. I had the fish cake, it was a small plate, but very tasty. My husband had the cheeseburger, which was nice too. The kids burger was a little disappointing, burger looked good but there was no sign of any salad or veg, yes I could have ordered a side of veg, but there should be something with it. The drinks are quite nice, we had a hot chocolate and a mango and passion fruit refresher. A bit expensive but nice. Not the best place for a hot meal, okay in a pinch.

when it was decks you could get a decent meal there but now, yuk my wife, had the breakfast, which at best was average, I had the cod and chips which had no taste at all. They have destroyed what was a good brand.

Took 2 hours for two breakfast buns to be delivered. The bacon bun was so flat it looked like it had been squished and the other bun literally only had 1 sausage in it.

WARNING Went on the 8th of July for a couple of cocktails with my partner, was lovely. The Espresso Martini and Long Island Iced Tea were superb. We notice an all you can drink brunch option, so reserved for the 10th. Upon our arrival on the 10th we were given a separate drinks menu, one about 1/4 of the main menu size, which wasn't stipulated on the offer. Nor was the fact that it's two portions of food per person (well sides and they were really good to be fair) Now this is where it gets dodgy...the two drinks I had on the 8th got me just as merry as the 9 drinks I had on the 10th. So clearly they were being watered down at some point. I'm very disappointed in this place, it looked like it could've been something special but ended up being what I can only describe as a misleading and potential tourist trap. On a side note, the floor was sticky and the bathroom smelt so strong of urine that I had to pull my shirt over my nose. Last time I was in a place that dirty it was Sugar Cubes in Lincoln City centre.
