No frills hotel at the end of an industrial estate.Room clean but no soap in the soap dispenser, which was not a promising start. Lots of what guest conduct the hotel expects in the room info pack, which doesn't instil confidence. Restaurant attached, half empty with stained seats.My Lebanese Chicken Kebab was good and very refreshing to stay somewhere, where the mark up on wine was minimal.Emma was nice and had a good attitude, and without talking to her it might have been a fairly depressing experience. Breakfast was OK.

Enjoyed staying 2 nights with breakfast at the Dovedale Hotel. Staff were lovely a spotless hotel, food was cooked and presented well. The car park was at the back of the hotel. Garden tables and chairs outside the front with parasols were great and it was a relaxed atmosphere would stay again.

Experimentamos un duelo familiar y nos comunicamos con el hotel para ajustar nuestras fechas de reserva. Entendíamos perfectamente que la reserva no era reembolsable si se cancelaba, pero no estábamos pidiendo un reembolso, solo un simple cambio de fecha. Lamentablemente, se negaron, lo que se sintió bastante desalentador. Un poco de compasión en tales circunstancias no habría caído mal.

Tried to call to make an oder and it was constantly engaged. Downloaded the app and made an oder. After paying I got a message to say the order was not picked up by staff even though they took payment. I decided to walk a mile to the shop only to find it closed under refurbishment. WHY are u still taking orders and money??

Fuimos a desayunar y pedimos un topper inglés completo y una tostada con huevo revuelto y tocino. El desayuno completo estaba bien, tostadas topper era un muffin seco de hueso y huevo revuelto con trozos marrones en él. Me di cuenta de que el huevo revuelto eran ofrendas quemadas del fondo de la sartén, fue asqueroso. Lo sentimos, pero si un restaurante no puede cocinar huevos revueltos, entonces no hay esperanza para ello. La peor comida que tuvimos desde aquí, tan decepcionada.

We dropped in at the end of our walk on the off chance we could get some food. The staff were super accommodating and seated 11 of us in the restaurant. The waiting staff were so lovely, customer service goes a long way and the two waitresses that served us were great! All 11 of us had our food come out together, it was fresh and hot! Just what we needed after 12 hours of walking! Coming on here to review I was very surprised by other reviews, as we had a lovely experience! Thank you for accommodating and feeding some very tired and hungry walkers!!

Great experience from start to finish! We came here for Mother’s Day and had the best day with tasty home cooked food and a very friendly atmosphere! Would definitely recommend for families and dog owners, Very tasty menu full of home cooked food not to mention home baked cake!! Was a treat! Such friendly wholesome staff make you feel very welcome. The pub is to a high standard of cleanliness and the kids loved the play area! Thank you very much for a lovely experience! Will definitely be back again!

Really good value for money and lovely food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. QR code ordering was easy, even with dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend.
