Called for breakfast. The cafe was quiet another 3 diners at the time . Not impressed with the ordering of the food on the automated machine, after the 3rd attempt we managed our order . The food was brought too us. 3 normal breakfasts. The hash browns, sausages and beans tasted burnt, also the food was just and so warm. Not an enjoyable in anyway. With regard to price it was expensive for what we had and the quality was awful. The two staff were very cheerful and pleasant. I won't be eating there again.

Bought 2 breakfasts after 1/2 hour of waiting lady came to say fryer broke so could have poached or scrambled egg both of us chose poached the breakfast then came it was cold poached eggs both hard , when asked if could warm up man said not allowed to warm up. Tables in restaurant not cleared with dirty pots on. Won’t be returning very poor☹️

We had to wait to be served at the till,we ordered 2 breakfasts from the most miserable of ladies,paid and proceeded to the coffee vending machine,we eventually found two clean cups but could not find any clean cutlery in the cutlery area,,,they were all dirty,we found a clean table( there wasn’t many and the place was empty apart from another couple in there)the breakfast came really quickly but was barely warm,,,,,this was possibly the worst breakfast I have ever had,the staff do not look like they want to be there and the whole place looks like it could do with a really good clean,,,,you could make so much more of this cafe,such a shame

Trays dirty, tables dirty tea pots dirty food dry the sandwich was like eating cardboard won’t be here again

The cafe was filthy., the tray stand has seen better days, the floor was black. The tea pots weren't clean either. The tea bags were the cheapest of the cheap and nasty I'll not be coming back here anytime soon. Big improvement is needed in this cafe. The only plus was the staff were lovely and helpful

Absolutely appalling, cold food, dirty tables. Toast done on one side. Cleaned thetable myself. Miserable, rude staff.

I called into cafe 8 30 Saturday morning ti have a breakfast. I entered my details on the screen and when asked to take a table number I could not see any, so I asked a customer who was sat nearby and he said they should be at the side but it was empty. There was only 3 tables with customers on, he suggested I asked at kitchen door as there was no one behind the counter. I went to doorway and asked how to get a table number to which she said she was busy and I would have to wait. As I was also busy I left the store.

I visited regularly with my family and have complained many times without any improvement whatsoever. There are always lights which are flickering constantly and have regularly caused myself migraines after visiting. Surely a few bulbs can be replaced regularly in a large company like this. I have brought this to the attention of staff and even contacted head office without any improvement Combined with the dirty tables, which we have regularly cleaned with serviettes I consider this dirty hovel to be a health risk. Shame on you Morrisons for not listening to your customer comments and not actioning any improvement in this current climate. We visited again this week partly to check if there have been improvement after my complaints and nope, found the same filth. I emailed again this week as the lights still flickered constantly, tables and floors mucky. have not had the courtesy of a reply. Shame on you Morrisons!

Came in to get security tag removed from dress I purchased two days ago. Spent £130 in total in this particular visit. As did not have receipt but did have item in the same state tags and all. I was told on this occasion she would remove security tag but in future could not as I could be lying :( seriously talk about customer service. I won’t be shopping here again clearly security tags are broken and staffing is nothing to write home about.

This used to be a regular ‘coffee and a bacon butty’ meeting place but since restrictions came we’ve not been able to so this visit was much anticipated. Decided to try here instead of a more local cafe and having quickly found a table we realised we hadn’t brought masks so I thought I’d download the app to order & pay. We had already decided on the ‘flying start’ breakfast but couldn’t see it so opted for 2 small breakfasts (I couldn’t find how to request brown/whole meal toast so had to go with white bread) with a fried egg and a poached egg plus 2 teas as we couldn’t find straightforward white coffees. The food came out: my poached egg resembled an odd shaped boiled egg and was solid, disappointing. We continued chatting and eating but after a few minutes realised the drinks hadn’t arrived - apparently it’s serve yourself but we weren’t told that; if we’d been brought 2 clean cups with our food (ie from the kitchen not off the public servery) that would have been a clue. The food was fine but as I avoid white bread it wasn’t particularly good for me imho it’s only suitable for a child or a very light eater. Disappointing.

Called in for a quick early evening meal. Ordering was straight forward, my Fish and Chips arrived quickly and we're excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely call again when I'm in the area.

When staying on a hotel break we often eat at Morrisons as their food is good and cheap. But why does it cost me £11.50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks when I can have 2 adults and 2 childrens meals and 4 drinks fir £10. Thus dies not seem fair.

Went to celebrate my birthday with husband and kids, gave them £1 each to spend and they honestly feasted! Managed to fit in 3 courses for £1 each, absolutely crazy value. Bought the drinks from the actual Morrisens store to save money and they were fine with it. Took ketchup bottle home as a souvenir and they said nothing. xxx

Food was good staff helpful and friendly breakfast was fairly priced and tasty recomend the small breakfast the large is a bit too much

with a choice of 2 full English the smaller one was enough, well cooked and tasty at a price of 10 pounds for 2 people also a good cheap start to the day

Nice to nip in to for a cuppa and a chat. Whenever we go it is short staffed but they work so hard to it is hard to be miffed if kept waiting. Good selection of hot / cold sandwiches and meals on offer at very reasonable prices.

morrisons supermarket. the staff are always very friendly and helpful.... i hate shopping but these guys make it a pleasant experience

I absolutely love their deli they always have fresh food and sometimes run out because of the demand. If you haven’t tried their hot fiery ribs are you even living ?

Called into the cafe for drinks and cake to warm up for, the weather with my family. The selection on offer on the counter was completely stocked, staffing seemed good. Overall satisfying trip :)

Approached customer service desk today met with a stony glare as if to say what do you want boxes piled on floor at base of desk making it difficult to get near asked my request and only on completion of task did I get an acknowledgment , very poor.

Had a light lunch of poached egg on toast, the eggs were overcooked, the toast was ok but who can’t make toast. The teapots are a disgrace and need replacing. A lot of untidy tables and it wasn’t busy these should be cleaned more quickly. The saving grace is the staff, they were very pleasant. I don’t think I would return.

Tried the eggs benedict, thought for only £3.50 it wouldnt be up to much, but it was the nicest eggs benedict ive ever had.....will definately have it again :)

The cafe situated in the Morrisons supermarket wasn't as superficient as I thought it would be.

Just had a full breakfast which was fab. A bit pricey at £6.25 with a coffee but quality was good. They offer free kids meals after 3pm which has to be excellent value for money

I work near this store and often visit to buy lunch. The sandwich selection is poor and for some reason nearly all of them are on malted bread. It has an unpleasant taste and is dry. Also, on the hot food section the food is over dried out and uneatable - especially pizza and sandwiches. Drinks fridge is often empty and doesn't seem to be filled during the lunchtime period. The quality of the salad bar items is also poor and equally unpalatable. The coleslaw is drowning in mayonnaise, whilst the pasta dishes are too dry. The lettuce and leaves are limp and the crispy onions . croutons and bacon bits are often empty! The peppers and onions taste stale. I'm so disappointed with the lunch time offerings that I've started to make my lunch at home.

Sat waiting for our order was told 15 mins still waiting half hour later, cuppa tea going cold, hot water not working and only 1 coffee machine working, food just slapped on plate, very slow service no care to detail

Not happy with the cafeteria. .dirty trays no tea spoons tables not cleared..alarm going off for over 10 mins. .under staffed. .Dissatisfied

I'm a regular at lunch for the salad- well done guy always fresh- well maintained- good selection! Not very busy during the week at lunch- also some great offers on at the moment....!

It is not the best supermarket but has all the essentials at a reasonable price . The pizza section and hot food quarter is a thumbs up . It feels dated but does the job . I would not shop here unless i am in a rush to go anywhere else .

Visited this popular (with shoppers, in general) supermarket restaurant with the grown up kids and grand son for a late brunch / early lunch. When we arrived the food order desk was closed,so what? But this means you have instead to queue up and order food at the pay till. Ok you may think ...but this means that instead of your food being prepared while you queue it isnt even ordered until you get to the front of the queue. The lovely lady on the till was doing the lot. Trying to sort the now on strike coffee machines (taking her away from the till), serve customers and take food orders; the lot. Morrisons this just isnt good enough! We gave our order; 'is that everything?' she asked 'yes, thank you' we said know what we'd ordered but NOT knowing she hadnt got the full order. I just paid up but with no glasses on to read amount off the machine. I couldnt have a coffee until machine had been sorted so i thought i would just go back once the food comes;. 2 attempts later i just gave up and sharing a cuppa as the queue just wasnt getting shorter. When the food came it was very nice (and the ladies serving were too) but one meal missing off the order. Lovely lady serving sorted that and apologised but tbf it wasnt the fault of any of the staff all very busy and no management to be seen, I'm rating service as poor but that ISN'T a reflection on the staff but the organisation - MORRISONS YOU MUST DO BETTER.!

We regularly pop into this supermarket cafe for a coffee and a bite to eat while shopping or visiting the nearby Matalan store. I suggest if you are in a rush select from the chill display as ordering hot food during lunch service can often involve a bit of a wait. They offer nice cheap freshly cooked food and some good deals too useful if it is for early tea or with hungry children.

It's close has most products it's local and easy access plus there are some pretty great deals plus it's never over busy which is ideal

I find Morrisons. Mayo Avenue is a fine store to shop at giving plenty of value a a fine range of produce. We shopping there ever week on Fridays.

We called in to our local Supermarket for Lunch after going to Church. The restaurant was very busy. We placed our order with a very pleasant staff member. We found a table very quickly. As I have already said the restaurant was very busy so service was a little slow. But the atmosphere in the restaurant was very lively with families, couples and individuals enjoying their meal. Our meal was delivered to our table, very hot, very tasty and very enjoyable. We had an excellent dessert and a cup of tea to finish off. Price was very reasonable. David Wade

Always lots of different offers' 24pk of wotsits £2.99👍🏽 BARGAIN... While going through the checkout the lady on the till was really nice and friendly and very chatty .., not miserable like some are...

Occasionally had a meal here, after finishing our shopping. Nice food most times. Lovely fish and chips, and all day breakfast. Nice tea and coffee.

Time waiting for 2 slices of toast 3 quarter of hour. wasn't busy. when I asked for they had forgot again.

Ive not been to this supermarket cafe for a very long time because tbh it was a bit run down and well past its best. But Ive recently been for a quick catch up coffee with my daughter and what a surprise we had. Ive no idea when it was refurbished (although I would say fairly recently?) but what a transformation it has had. It is n0w bright and airy with a farmhouse kitchen vibe going on. Gone are the grotty static table and chairs, now there are chunky wooden tables and chairs. there are a couple of dressers to break up the space and a cosy baby friendly corner with comfy chairs, low tables and baby bottle / food warming facilities and IMHO also suitable for a quiet feed too. I will certainly go again a relaxing and beautiful setting for a family tea or shopping refreshments.
