Today i asked for an iitem (a chip butty) and was informed it was not available. Yet i saw a customer get fish and chip!!. I replaced it with soup and a roll. Could you not give a portion of chips with a roll! Is that not the same thing

I’ve been here a few times now for breakfast but won’t go back! I wouldn’t serve food like that to my dog…. The bread was stale, some things were stone cold or just generally not nice. The beans had a soapy taste. The worst thing is, it’s not even cheap, prices have shot up and even the coffees, which are just from a machine, are a premium price. I won’t be back.

This cafe is not at all organised.Waited so long to get my coffee from a very slow machine ( The second one was out of order)also having got my tea bag in the cup filled with hot water I then had to move on to order my food at another station.after this I had to get my own milk, cutlery, serviette and sugar.Took my tray to my table to wait for our food.We waited a long time for our food to arrive after which our drinks were cold.I On reflection your prices are very inflated for a self service cafe especially the tea bag in a cup and not in a tea pot also our bacon and sausage sandwiches had very little filling in them which I consider to be not value for money.Paying rather costly prices I expect to have equally good value ingredients. ,

I ordered the Steak a Ale pie served with Mash, Pies and gravy, my wife and son ordered different food. I would of enjoyed the food but served with what I thought was chicken gravy but ended up being a light vegetable gravy. The only thin g is can we call peas veges? So really the gravy went with nothing I ordered and spoilt the meal. Steak and Ale pie should be served with a Beef or Onion gravy. I went to customer service to see if I could put a recommendation in and there was a lady who works in the cafe their being served at the kiosk. I spoke to her but wasn't interested in my view said they do a veg gravy to cater for all vegetarians, I though a lot of gravies had flavourings can't recall them using beef and a onion gravy can't see that being animal extracts. The thing is the veg gravy didn't go with Stake and Ale pie but she wasn't interested. Went around the store and saw a manager and had a word with him and he seemed more interested and said he will look into it, the thing is I don't know if I want to order it again because honesty the gravy tastes awful with that dish, that is why they do different gravies to go with different dishes, the thing is I have heard they closed a lt of the cafe's off in Sainsbury's and only two out of 5 still exist in our area, if they don't listen to customers then feel the remainding 2 may follow.

Advertised they close at 5pm, turns up at 4.20pm told they stopped serving meals at 4pm. Which is quite frankly ridiculous.

Customer service was 10 out 10 polite, friendly and helpful and service to the table was good, looking at food looked piping hot a good start 10/10, I ordered the steak pie. chips instead of mash, peas and gravy. Chips still had skins on so more like wedges but nice 8 out of 10, peas okay but the pie the pastry was hard and meat in the pie some of the meat dry, the meat that wasn't dry tasted lovely and sure pie warmed in oven not a microwave would of been lovely but 4 out of 10 for the pie, gravy it was chicken gravy over a beef pie so gravy 2 out of 10 maybe on chicken might of got 9 out of 10 but not on a beef pie. Over all meal 5 out of 10 maybe got 8 out of 10 if pie was cooked right and beef gravy on a beef pie not chicken so what could of been a good meal ended up being poor because of the way it was cooked and combination as chicken gravy doesn't go with beef pie.

First time I’ve visited a Sainsbury’ Cafe. Compared to the likes of Tesco and Morrison, the options here are pretty basic. Nothing on the menu appealed, so we got cheese & onion toast off the shelf for the staff to heat up. We also got lattes and crisps to go with the toasties. I always find that it’s hard to go wrong with those toasties. The lattes were decent too. The seats and tables are pretty much what you can expect for a supermarket, the service is friendly and overall it’s a reasonable choice if you’re already in Sainsbury’s.

I had scampi and chips which was nice. My friend had tuna mayo with sweetcorn jacket. Far too much mayo used, looked like porridge with some sweetcorn in it. She said it had no taste. Disappointing but at least we didn't wait 45 mins for the food this time.

You are ruining this cafe no hot food and no cooked breakfasts. We are long standing customers and you have left us with no alternative but to have breakfast and shop in Morrisons which we have done reluctantly

Just had a nice “Big breakfast” which comes with toast in their cafe £4.50 gets you a good start to the day. With a coffee it came to just over £6. Once ordered at the desk Service very quick with the orders. All nice and hot. The knifes weren’t up to much, not very sharp. All clean and tidy within restaurant. Pleasant open aspect

Sainsbury's appear to be moving with the times, thank goodness. Haven't been for a while and found that some of the older staff are no longer there but a new, younger, diverse generation who are smiley and very happy to oblige. Great coffee and biccies and a very clean environment. Will definitely be going back!

I came here for brunch with my granddaughter. It was my first time ever taking her out for a meal, and she chose the venue. I had a cooked breakfast and she had the children's lunch bag. Good value, friendly service, nothing to write home about, but (from my point of view) memorable and lovely.

Ordered a breakfast which was awful to say the least. Was not freshly prepared and unpleasant to eat. Staff were. It too fussed and a bit blasé. But what do you expect I a supermarket cafe?

I had baked potato with cheese which came with salad very well presented. The staff all smiled. Service was very quick & the meal plus a pot of tea cost me £4.20 which was very good value. The potato was perfectly cooked.

Visited the Sainsburys Café today. I'm not a fan of shop cafes (only use them as a last resort) but this café is probably the best you're ever going to find in a supermarket or shop. The sausages and chips were nice and you can get plenty of Pepsi in the large cup from the drink vending machine. Free Wi-Fi is always a nice bonus too and the staff seemed very friendly and polite. It would have been nice to see more variation on the menu (maybe some garlic chicken Kiev's would be nice?) but it was definitely on the better end of shop cafes overall.

I go to Sainsbury's shopping most weeks. At least once a month to do a "big" shop and then nearly every weekend for bits and pieces. There is always of plenty of choice and a lovely fresh fruit and vegetable section which always looks tempting. Lots of fresh food counters i.e. meat, fish, cheese etc. Definitely recommend

Stopped off for quick bite to eat. Plenty of choice and good quality meals that don't break the bank. Good place for a snack or a meal. Coffee machine a bit slow when the cafe is busy but if you're not in a hurry it's worth the wait.

A very long wait (almost an hour) for 2 breakfasts, to be told they are made fresh……the food is very expensive and the service is extremely poor. Certainly won’t be visiting again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Horrible service. Ordered on uber eats and they kept cancelling my order with no explanation. There isn’t even a phone number to contact them on so it’s pretty terrible in terms of delivery.
