¡Esta fue mi experiencia Ultimate Pub! El ambiente era "Modern Pub" que tenía una sensación agradable "donde lo moderno se encuentra con lo antiguo" pero no demasiado anticuado. La gama de cervezas era excelente, soy un artesano fan Amargo, había de todos los tipos allí para el gusto de todos (muy inusual) ! la comida era muy buena y el personal era excelente! Hospitalario, amable y eficiente. Un pub muy raro de hecho, Oh y los baños de hombres estaban limpios y "Divertido", "inusual" en el buen sentido! Una buena experiencia!

Great local pub, good selection and friendly atmosphere!

This place is CLOSED . Made a booking on their answer machine for lunch, on arrival the whole place is closed and being stripped out. Why is the website still up and running? Why is the telephone answering machine not been amended telling people that it is closed? Very upset having had to make rapid alternative arrangements for the 4 of us.

We always enjoy visiting our local..the staff are fabulous and I recently enjoyed a psychic evening. There's always something going on quizzes karaoke nights and you get the community feeling as soon as you walk in..well done Red Lion and all your staff.

Called in last weekend surprised with the large range of products on sale. Quality clothing section good range of Barbour clothing. Cafe on the upper level with toilets to the rear of the store. Not cheap but the old saying is you get what you pay for.

I have got a friend of mine who's been going in there and spending silly dollars for the past few years and never had any issues with nobody at all last Sunday around 2pm he tried to go in there with his mate as the manger saw him she came out straight away before he walked in and said your banned from here can't come in nomore as he tried to asked her what's happened she just ignored him and walked back in If your barring someone it's gotta be a valid reason and your have to tell this person the reason your can't walk away thinking your going to get away with it and if your in a bad mood go home don't come to work and take it on people Bear in mind without a customer's your as a manger wouldn't have a job and none of the staff will do I have had escalated the case to the customer support and hoping they going to resolve this issue soon and sack the manger who caused me bare upset

Really nice place , the staff are very friendly and efficient , not a huge choice , but something for everyone and it's all very yummy . Happy to Recommend.

I am a fan of Thornbridge Brewery's award-winning beers, especially Lukas and Green Mountain, which for me, are some of the best on the market. So, when we arranged a family meal at a Thornbridge pub I was full of anticipation. I chose fish and chips, but without drawing this review out, it was the most disappointing excuse for what should be a British pub classic. The over-cooked, verging on burnt, fish, which in itself was a miserably small portion, was served with soggy potato wedges. Potato wedges with fish? Really? Come on, people, it should be chips as in 'fish and CHIPS'. There is a hint in the name. The mushy peas were adequate, but what on earth was rocket doing on the plate? You don't serve salad leaves with fish and chips. Ever. My wife and boys enjoyed their burgers, but the overall experience, for me, was very disappointing. I am all for chefs experimenting with new ideas, but you don't need to re-invent the wheel when it comes to something as basic as fish and chips. I shall not be eating here again.

Was told ALL the tables were reserved from 7.15 this was @ 6.30 but if we were done by then we could use the table ! 5 of us went to the Indian across the road instead !

I got two pints of Punk for 6quid during happy hour. You really can't complain about that! Therefore a good place for a cheap pint before a gig at the Uni. Can't review the accommodation as we just went for a pint
