Was looked after by Margaret today, she was really amazing and chatty, food was lovely and served really quickly

Really quick and lovely service

Went here as family of 4 on a warm Saturday night which was busy but sat down immediately and ordered from phone app. All very easy and good food and good price.Good veggie options for me and had veg chilli which was good.Husband had cheeseburger which he said was good.Kids both had chicken curry which could have with rice or chips or half/half.2 onion bajis £1.99 extra which they had.Daughter had choc brownie with custard and was huge!I shared it with her.All in all great experience and will be back thank you.Lovely friendly staff too😀

Love coming for a carvery here. Travel from Doncaster and come back because it’s our favourite. The blonde waitress overseeing the reserved section near to the door today is always so good and kind to our family.

It's a farmhouse so you know the food is lovely and not expensive, the staff were very friendly when I visited

Booked a table for ten wen I got there table not booked food was very poor service took so long only decent thing was the cake but that took long time to come wud I go again no not a chance gone down hill

First time here, but will be back. 3 of us had the carvery which we all enjoyed, good quality meat and beautifully cooked and presented vegetables . The fourth in our party chose the gammon, which was lovely and tender with a beautiful yellow egg. Lovely staff, especially Margaret, who was lovely. It’s great that you can choose a dessert to take home as well. Couldn’t fault it.

I have visited Elmwood Farm a few times and I can say I am truly impressed. The atmosphere is very friendly and you are always greeted with a warm welcome. It is a wonderful restaurant which is greatly suited to all people, whether you are attending as a family or friends, you are spoilt for choice in what you fancy and won't be disappointed. I would like to say what a wonderful employee Layla is. When Layla is on Front of House, she always has a cheery smile for all and she always ensures me and my friends are taken care of for the whole time we stay at Elmwood. I understand an environment like Elmwood can be busy, but Layla is always patient with a calm demeanor, which is an excellent strength in a customer service role. She always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone leaves having had a great time. If I have any questions in regards to the menu and services I am always satisfied with Layla's answer. She is a credit to your organisation and delivers first class service everytime. I look forward to my next visit at Elmwood Farm.

Elmwood farm is one of the best dinning experiences I've ever had, the staff are so friendly they go above and beyond. The staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome, and feel part of the family. At times I struggle with my mental health, but I feel I'm in safe hands at Elmwood. The food, carvery and service is always first class, more often than not once ordered drink are brought to your table. Now that's above and beyond, The food is fresh tasty and good portions, your never left hungry. No one upto now can do a good restaurant service, like the amazing staff at Elmwood. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing carvery, great options and everything hot and fresh, the pub is pleasant and even when busy doesn't feel overly chaotic with plenty of space. Staff are friendly and accommodating. They get busy so missed out a couple of times as haven't booked soon enough and they often book up so book quickly.

Reminded me of a US Southern Morrison's Cefeteria, maybe better!

The Sunday roast at Elmwood was fantastic. The quality of the food was truly nice but one member of staff called layla was very helpful n very kind dealing our problem I would advise everyone to visit this place

Lovely staff, great food, great selection and value for money - we come here regularly and have never had a bad meal. A special mention to Katie and Dave who served us and who was an absolute joy, and pleasure.

First time we visited we tried the main menu and it wasnt great , very bog standard freezer bag chain pub food. We said we would never go back , but we did end up going back (as insisted by some friends) for a carvery. And it was SO much better. This is clearly what they excel at! Home cooked and tasty, big portions , and only £9 - a great carvery ! (Just don't bother with the main menu!) Impressive cake counter too - although we are yet to try any.

Great Place- Staff are really attentive and welcoming, always helpful and friendly. Food and choice great and well prepared, and never have to wait long.

The food is very good, but the main reason we go is the staff especially Kirsty nothing is too much trouble, she is excellent at her job and is very friendly .

Came for breakfast and had wonderful service from Kirsty, would definitely recommend, great quality for the price. Visited again since with family for the set menu with carvery and had a great time

Food is alright but don’t order because they never answer the phone and you never get to tell them what you dont want in there !! Sick of it, rang them 5 times and never got through , I have allergies and had something in there I can’t eat resulting in most of it going in the bin!

The beef was spot on, veg luke warm 🥵. Service. No one came to our table to ask if we were ok. Atmosphere was ok but got very loud just before we left.

Si tengo una mala experiencia suelo dar el beneficio de la duda pero las dos últimas visitas a Elmwood no han sido geniales. He estado muchas veces desayunando y suelo ir allí antes de pasear por Rother Valley. Siempre tengo ganas de ir, pero los dos últimos viajes la comida ha sido muy mala, en particular esta mañana cuando como lo que creo que es un huevo medio cocido. Tan pronto como lo comí supe que no sabía bien. Los huevos revueltos estaban fríos y acuosos y el tocino estaba un poco escabroso. Esto es una pena, pero parece haber bajado colina masivamente. No estoy seguro de que en el momento de escribir esto pueda comer otro huevo después de eso. Si vas a comer en el Elmwood entonces yo comería del menú no del desayuno o carvery. También en otra nota y este siempre ha sido el caso este es el pub más lento para ser servido en el que he estado. Si tienes más de dos personas enfrente tu mirada al menos 10 a 15 minutos para que te sirvan

Nice food, but the selection is getting smaller , we don't want burgers, but proper meals, get your act together.

We decided to visit elmwood farm and Had an amazing breakfast this morning. When we arrived we were welcomed by the great members of staff ami and emma who displayed a very warm welcome. Both members of staff made the extra effort to make sure our stay was fulfilled. The food was exceptionally delicious. Very cheap for the quality of food. We have visited other places paid 3x the price and no where near the same service or food quality. I'm glad the elmwood is on our doorstep. Great seating areas for all family needs weather it's a drink after work or having a date Night or even to have a family meal all needs met at the elmwood. Don't miss out and go visit highly recommended by myself

I come into Elmwood Farm alot the staff are all lovely especially Amy very friendly and professional always makes you feel welcome and the food is great too would highly recommend.

Excellent!! We ordered 1 x 2-meat Carvery and 2 x Crispy Chicken Medley's - we live a fair drive away from Elmwood and it was delivered to us hot and it all tasted utterly delicious. Can't fault it - 10 out of 10!!

Ordered 3 Carvery’s. All came cold, all the veg was rock hard and we didn’t get any gravy at all. So we wasn’t able to eat any of it.

Really disappointed with the dinner as a whole. When it arrived it was almost cold. Very little meat, not even 2 full slices of gammon & turkey on one dinner, beef & gammon on the other. Inedible Yorkshire puds, one in the dinner was impossible to cut and the other in with the pig in blanket was like cutting polystyrene! Nearly £17 each for what most of it ended up in the dog!! Won't be ordering from Elmwood again! Pudding was nice!

The woman who served us behind the bar was abrupt and rude

Visited on a Tuesday teatime. Having booked our table was reserved for 6 of us. All food was served promptly and was very tasty. The 2 carverys were lovely. Staff were very approachable, efficient and friendly.

Got a table next to the so called play area, which is big empty space full ofachines to win toys and rides all to pay for. The air con honestly was that windy it blew our serviettes off the table and I felt like I was in a wind tunnel it was freezing. I asked if it could be turned down or off and they said they would, but didn't. The carvery looked like it was yesterday's and my carvery salad was awful, the gammon tastes weird and very fatty and dry and the turkey tastes funny. The salad was covered and I mean covered in a dressing. Not a great experience.

Family of 6 ,,,First visit for Sunday lunch was ok apart from beef it was so chewy,2nd visit was much better ,3rd visit was awful again meat was tough, roast pots were awful like they had been there ages, no cheese in the cauliflower cheese, sadly due to been let down again we won't be visiting again.

It was fine.. orders got mixed up, drinks were really late, but overall..it wasn’t that bad.

Buffet style breakfast as one possibility, very nice and a good choice. Only had breakfast and enjoyed. Make your own coffee with free refills, toaster so a complete breakfast at a reasonable price, come again. Have car charger in car park so had breakfast while car was charging win win. Staff were friendly and helpful

It is exactly what it says on the tin, cheap, cheerful and no frills. Food is typical pub grub. The servers are friendly and quick to help.

Came here a couple of months ago with the whole family and the carvery was excellent. This time just two of us in the afternoon, same choice of food but issues this time. A lot of the vegetables were hard, especially the sprouts and the roast potatoes were tasteless and looked has though they were a frozen variety. Meat choice was good, decent portions, in all rather average which was disappointing considering our previous visit. Would we go again well yes but certainly won't be at the top of our list when we're thinking of eating out.

Greasiest pigs in blankets known to man. See the high quality for yourself. Staff are great, nice and properly friendly. Beware... If you order pigs in blankets to the table on the app. That is not how it works. You have to go get them yourself from the carvery.

Super yummy carvery available all week

Unfortunately after several disappointing trips to the Elmwood I have to give such a bad review on the food has had to be sent back due to been cold after waiting along time people getting their food at different times finale straw tonight when when on a birthday dinner and ended up with no meal and crumpets and tea at home after my food was sent back inedible after being microwaved until hard with no colour it looked frozen I did get a refund but it spoiled the evening and I wish I could say that this was the first time. Unfortunately I won’t be going back save your money and have crumpets and tea at home

Food is always decent for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful. It has a small area to keep the kids entertained. What's not to like?

I deliver to the business on a regular basis, it’s always busy and seems to have a great atmosphere. Everyone seems quite content and happy. Plenty of free parking with easy access and always clean and tidy.

We arrived today at 7.15 and the pub was busy. The staff were very very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food came quick and was hot, filling and absolutely delicious.. The young bar lady and the rest if the team were so polite and gave an excellent service. The lovely lady Anne was very much busy keeping the tables lovely and clean with a friendly smile. Thank you so much for tonight our dinner and night was perfect. Xxxxx

Brilliant as ever. Carvery is always bang on.

Food was awful again. Ordered from here many times and always try to be understanding etc but the veg is always rock hard, it’s cold, no Yorkshire pudding, tiniest pot of gravy, the roast potatoes are a total disaster every time. I’m afraid that’s it this time, won’t be ordering again.

Had a lovely visit here. The member of staff Ami who was amazing with my order as I had a few requirements and managed to sort them out for me and did this all with a smile. Desserts were worth the visit too.

We have just called and all tables have reserved on them and I mean all tables. I asked a member of staff (older lady very snotty and rude) telling me we have big parties coming in from 6pm so no we cannot seat you - although the one table that had not got reserved on was in the worst possible place near the waiting area and door surprisingly was free -

We came back after the amazing service at Christmas this time we disappointed miserable staff one older lady grey hair bob wasn’t very helpful at all. Rubbish atmosphere come for my 10 years olds birthday asked if they could sing to her as greatful as we was just gave ice cream and walked away don’t think we’ll be back this time carvery wasn’t very hot left most my food or was really cold. I’m generally gutted after the amazing service at Christmas

Absolutely excellent. The meals arrived early. They needed a quick reheat in the microwave as Elmwood farm is nearly 6 miles away. Beautiful turkey and great vegetables. Large portions. Delivery gentleman was friendly and polite. 5 star.

Worst service I've ever come across, unable to book a table though app was saying spaces available so went for walk in. Told we would be waiting upto 30 mins. 45 mins later and sitting at a table with a reserved sign on we questioned our place in the queue and were told we could have the table we were using. I might add that the childrens area was full of empty tables with reserved signs on 2 of which were not used for over 90 minutes. Food was good but felt for carvers as for alot of the time they were stood twiddling their thumbs due to the empty tables. Elmwood Farm get your table reservation system sorted it's a disgrace.

Best carvery I have had for a while! The meat was delicious, vegetables were cooked really nicely and nice light crispy Yorkshire puddings. Really friendly staff. 2 adults and 2 kids and we ate for less than £40 as it was kids eat free.

Went to another farmhouse inn somewhere else and it was very nice quality food but went to Elmwood today and all the food on my plate was cold or Luke warm. The sausages feel like they was cooked and then microwaved before giving to someone. To be honest I'm really disappointed. My mate had a fish fry up and the batter was rock hard and nearly chipped a tooth. I could tell that the bread was frozen and had just defrosted and anyone else could if they tried it.

We got there was told it could be up to a hour so we got drinks and with in 15 minutes we were seated . Meals and service lovely . 7 of us for granddaughters 16th birthday . Thank you Elmwood

Had the carvery and everything was overcooked and sloppy. The stuffing had never seen an oven and the peas were almost gray not green. Very disappointing and wouldn’t order or go to the pub for food again.

We had a lovely meal, mine was gluten free and they was very aware of allergies and mine food came with a allergies stick in it to show mine was gluten free. The service was brilliant.

Tasty carvery served here with plenty of seating and a play area. Children's section separate to the adult area. Staff on the till can be a bit grumpy but the lad serving the food has often been lovely whenever we go.

Menu very limited when it comes to wanting a light bite/lunch such as baguettes, wraps, jacket potatoes as these aren't available. Opted for just a side which arrived burnt but was rectified when sent back. Dessert arrived cold as clearly been left before being sent out. Won't be rushing back unfortunately better food options and standards at other local pubs

Came with family at lunchtime, was quite busy but plenty of tables available. We were served by David, he was very friendly and polite. We had a mixture of carvery and menu items, both reasonably priced, food was excellent, restaurant very clean, all staff friendly.

Breakfast buffet exceptional value with a wide selection of food and quality ingredients even down to the bread for your toast. The tea was Yorkshire tea bags and the coffee was a good taste and not bitter. Very clean environment and the staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful
