Unfortunately after several disappointing trips to the Elmwood I have to give such a bad review on the food has had to be sent back due to been cold after waiting along time people getting their food at different times finale straw tonight when when on a birthday dinner and ended up with no meal and crumpets and tea at home after my food was sent back inedible after being microwaved until hard with no colour it looked frozen I did get a refund but it spoiled the evening and I wish I could say that this was the first time. Unfortunately I won’t be going back save your money and have crumpets and tea at home

Food is always decent for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful. It has a small area to keep the kids entertained. What's not to like?

I deliver to the business on a regular basis, it’s always busy and seems to have a great atmosphere. Everyone seems quite content and happy. Plenty of free parking with easy access and always clean and tidy.

We arrived today at 7.15 and the pub was busy. The staff were very very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food came quick and was hot, filling and absolutely delicious.. The young bar lady and the rest if the team were so polite and gave an excellent service. The lovely lady Anne was very much busy keeping the tables lovely and clean with a friendly smile. Thank you so much for tonight our dinner and night was perfect. Xxxxx

Had a lovely visit here. The member of staff Ami who was amazing with my order as I had a few requirements and managed to sort them out for me and did this all with a smile. Desserts were worth the visit too.

We have just called and all tables have reserved on them and I mean all tables. I asked a member of staff (older lady very snotty and rude) telling me we have big parties coming in from 6pm so no we cannot seat you - although the one table that had not got reserved on was in the worst possible place near the waiting area and door surprisingly was free -

We came back after the amazing service at Christmas this time we disappointed miserable staff one older lady grey hair bob wasn’t very helpful at all. Rubbish atmosphere come for my 10 years olds birthday asked if they could sing to her as greatful as we was just gave ice cream and walked away don’t think we’ll be back this time carvery wasn’t very hot left most my food or was really cold. I’m generally gutted after the amazing service at Christmas

Worst service I've ever come across, unable to book a table though app was saying spaces available so went for walk in. Told we would be waiting upto 30 mins. 45 mins later and sitting at a table with a reserved sign on we questioned our place in the queue and were told we could have the table we were using. I might add that the childrens area was full of empty tables with reserved signs on 2 of which were not used for over 90 minutes. Food was good but felt for carvers as for alot of the time they were stood twiddling their thumbs due to the empty tables. Elmwood Farm get your table reservation system sorted it's a disgrace.

Best carvery I have had for a while! The meat was delicious, vegetables were cooked really nicely and nice light crispy Yorkshire puddings. Really friendly staff. 2 adults and 2 kids and we ate for less than £40 as it was kids eat free.

Just got back from having a carvery here. I would like to say that everyone of the staff that I encountered were polite and helpful. The food was very good . Thank you to staff.

Went to another farmhouse inn somewhere else and it was very nice quality food but went to Elmwood today and all the food on my plate was cold or Luke warm. The sausages feel like they was cooked and then microwaved before giving to someone. To be honest I'm really disappointed. My mate had a fish fry up and the batter was rock hard and nearly chipped a tooth. I could tell that the bread was frozen and had just defrosted and anyone else could if they tried it.

Good for Sunday Roasts. Very generous portion sizes. Staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere was good.

We got there was told it could be up to a hour so we got drinks and with in 15 minutes we were seated . Meals and service lovely . 7 of us for granddaughters 16th birthday . Thank you Elmwood

The Sunday roast at Elmwood was fantastic. The quality of the food was truly exceptional, with every dish cooked to perfection. Staff are very friendly and helpful. recommend

Had the carvery and everything was overcooked and sloppy. The stuffing had never seen an oven and the peas were almost gray not green. Very disappointing and wouldn’t order or go to the pub for food again.

We had a lovely meal, mine was gluten free and they was very aware of allergies and mine food came with a allergies stick in it to show mine was gluten free. The service was brilliant.

Tasty carvery served here with plenty of seating and a play area. Children's section separate to the adult area. Staff on the till can be a bit grumpy but the lad serving the food has often been lovely whenever we go.

Very, very busy most days. Lunchtime very popular

Menu very limited when it comes to wanting a light bite/lunch such as baguettes, wraps, jacket potatoes as these aren't available. Opted for just a side which arrived burnt but was rectified when sent back. Dessert arrived cold as clearly been left before being sent out. Won't be rushing back unfortunately better food options and standards at other local pubs

Came with family at lunchtime, was quite busy but plenty of tables available. We were served by David, he was very friendly and polite. We had a mixture of carvery and menu items, both reasonably priced, food was excellent, restaurant very clean, all staff friendly.

Breakfast buffet exceptional value with a wide selection of food and quality ingredients even down to the bread for your toast. The tea was Yorkshire tea bags and the coffee was a good taste and not bitter. Very clean environment and the staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful

Shocking food and the bar prices are so expensive!

Visited late afternoon. Bratty kids running around, noisy young parents ignoring what their kids are up to. Have been before for Sunday lunch. Carvery did look good but no staff were present to serve! We weren't eating this time. We know this pub does get busy on Sundays but there are better places to visit for a relaxing Sunday roast lunch!

Big Sunday dinner portions, lovely tender beef with big roasted potatoes with big helping mash and vegetables, was well happy with the delivery service

Staff took a while to acknowledge us on arrival, too busy catching up with Christmas gossip. When they did finally acknowledge us it felt like we were disturbing their chat. Buffet breakfast was over cooked and luke warm.

This is the second time in getting a delivery from elmwood The first time orded three carvery and only got two meals This time orded turkey and ham carvery And only got veg it's not hard but for them it is Won't be ordering again

Excellent food, generous portion sizes!

Nipped in for dinner around Xmas it was full loud and alot of swearing. Dinner was lovely. Son got an icecream with his dinner but it wasn't the icecream he wanted from the chiller. We wasn't offered that one. Till I asked. Good little pub. But wouldn't go back when its busy.

10/10 would recommend Elmwood farm to anyone. My family live in Skegness and I tell them all to go when they’re passing through! I had the same last year for new years too, they never disappoint. And if you’re an eclair fan, their giant chocolate eclair will never fail you! Prepare to eat it in two sittings though it’s bigger than you think. It’s a great place to book to if you’ve got a birthday or an anniversary to celebrate. Will never shut up about this place I love it!

They seemed to have changed the menu an with it some ingredients. Definitely not as good or as consistent as it once was. Maybe supply issues who knows. Also ready for abit of revamp

first xmas dinner out on xmas day this meal was fantastic hot tasty and could not fault it me my wife and son really enjoyed it good value for money considering what day it was the home made patty was to die for i shall certainly be booking next year

Poor experience We booked to take the children to breakfast with santa we came last year (2023)and thought it was a magical experience. Unfortunately this year (2024) it was a very different experience. It was so unorganised. We had to check in to 3 different areas before we got a table (56). The food was standard with very long queues. The children where given a cracker and bag one with some craft things the other empty on speaking to the lady on the craft table she was unable to supply a card /stickers so one of the kids could make a card . The craft area was a small table which didn't allow more than 3 kids at a time. We had to queue a further 35 minutes to see santa to be fair this was lovely and santa was great with the kids. Unfortunately the present for both children was exactly the same as last year. (Last year they also received a small selection box and a hat. Again last year each table was asked to go up in turn to see santa which was alot better way to do this). Staff seemed unorganised and stressed. Overall this was a big let down.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff are very knowledgeable about food allergies and the allergen menus.

Lovely carvery, but the Yorkshire puddings were light and huge. Usually not a fan of beef but it was perfection today. Crispy fluffy roasties! Bit of a sad note with the apple crumble very tart apple and the crumble topping was too fluffy and just not nice at all. Shame really.

Went with a group of friends for a regular get-together, and this occasion we had a Christmas meal! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were genuinely nice :)

Nice place. Some of the staff could do with Cheering up. More needs adding to the indoor under 5 bit and it needs a clean in that part.

Really good carvery meal. Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. We were a group booking and seated on several tables in one area. A lot of kids running about when we first arrived, but it calmed down quickly as they were taken home to bed....

This is an update. The image shows just part of the queue, on a Wednesday evening. This is not people stood at the bar, the queue goes from left to right with one, maybe two sometime serving. there's just not enough people serving! **original Review has been edited based on the reply** Do you not think I know who is legally eligible to serve alcohol? In my original review I said I'd worked at pubs. I know the rules. What I don't know is why you as a company is trying to excuse the poor service without accepting that there is a reasonable complaint. What I do expect is for all available (and yes, age appropriate hands) to the pump when things are busy. I dismay.... Food was very good. But the service was woeful. Huge queue and staff just wandering around not serving people. Not actually doing anything as far as I could tell. When I worked at pubs it was all hands to the pumps to clear the queues. Here they just seem to look at the queue of customers and wonder why it is there. The food is good though, that is important. Just don't expect to get a drink easily

I have been going here for almost 8 years but have never felt so ignored. The man at the bar/tills was extremely rude for no reason. I asked for no ice in my soda but he said it can't be served without ice. My simple request for an empty glass to put away the ice (which I was going to do myself) was met with a cold look and a meaningless mumble and then I was left on my own as he walked away. I had to again ask another staff who was standing next to him who happily served. This man needs another job. He is not happy at Elmwood Farm, Beighton. Customers expect good ambience when they go out to dine, particularly during the festive season. This man's sulk and lacklustre behaviour spoilt my special evening!!

the food was freezing the only veg was peas and carrots. what a disgrace. I have ate at elmwood loads but after this I won't again. even the gravy was congealed and thick and awful.

We had a waitress at our table called Katie Jane she was very attentive helpful and poly. Nothing too much trouble. She definitely deserved a mention.

Don't normally have complaints. But today the food was cold, lumpy gravy, rock hard carrots and I ordered 2 meats, only got one..

Went to Elmwood Farm for a festive meal with two friends today. We decided to arrive an hour earlier than our booked slot and our server, Jade, was more than happy to accommodate us. Our table was already decorated for our Xmas feast! Jade was polite, funny, reliable and checked in on us frequently. She made us aware that there would be another larger party needing our table within a couple of hours after we arrived and said she would do her best to find us another area to sit. Well, behind the scenes Jade had done her very best and rearranged the seating so that we could stay in our seats for a few more hours!!! Much appreciated!! The food, as always, was delicious, well presented, very hot and a generous potion. Jade was a brilliant server and made us laugh lots! A definite asset to the team!

Absolutely fantastic food and service! Small under 5s indoor play area. Claw / machine area for kids. Great value/ food range on kids menu. The carvery was fantastic. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Fast service and quality for money.

All meals came at different times for our table and after choosing peppercorn sauce for my elderly mother , her meal came with the sauce all over her chicken , there was far too much on ,it should be in a small jug for customers to decide how much they want on , very unappetizing, very dry chicken but all in all rest of meals were fine

Normally, we go at least twice a month, but our last visit, everything was cold the toast snapped the sausages didn't seem cooked properly really disappointing as the food is normally top notch
