The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

I remember this from a misspent youth in Filey when it was known as The American Bar. It is out of the way and most trippers will miss it. That is probably why there were just four locals propping up tha bar when we walked in. They were aimiable enough and happy to share banter and a bit of mickey taking. A nice drop of beer on the bar too. This place won't be for everyone. You probably will find it a bit frosty unless you make the effort. But it's comfortable, has a good range of beers, and you probably won't struggle to find a seat.

Me an my Girlfriend stayed here at off chance as we could not get a pathetic code to get in our room.so after calling in the Granby whitby we spoke to the lovely landlsdy who so so kindly gVe us a room for two nights at a very good rate..the Granby was a gorgeous clean and bright place to stay the rooms was vry clean and new.just lovely.also we had a sunday roast znd a pudding.amazing.best sunday riast iv had in a long time.also the landlady also advised and help with parking. We will deffo be staying hrre again.the only name in our hesd when it comes to bnb...simply amazing.if uou want an amazing nb an amzzing stay you hotta book with the Granby whitby!!!

A cosy friendly pub, with a warm fire, lots of welcoming locals and travellers alike. We also stayed over, we had room 4 this time which was very comfortable.

Just returned from a short break at The Statoon Tavern. What a lovely experience. Staff and management were very friendly and helpful, they even went out to get my partner his favourite tea. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and perfectly placed for exploring a beautiful area. Will definitely visit again.

I have to say we visited today after using the escape room next door at 12.45 which is lunch time we were a group of 6 who wanted to eat food and drink cocktails. when we asked the staff had to ask the chef where we could sit which I thought was odd but we waited, the staff then said we could sit but not move the tables and there was 6 of us but we was offered to sit upstairs. when we went upstairs we weren't shown the room or where to go when we found it it was a games room none of the staff came and offered to move the games or bring cutlery or menus the staff didn't seem bothered if we were there or not, as for there attitude and lack of customer service we left so you lost all our custom when you could capitalise on the footfall from the escape room. anyway we were upset . I did message courtyard and they said they were busy which they weren't and we left before they could help us which wasn't true I tried to explain and they blocked me which is a good sign of customer service. It's a shame but all 6 of us felt the same leaving with no food or drink . We sadly won't be back

Lad serving was very polite... Old Las ambling about wasn't interested.. missus ordered a breakfast which she actually gagged on. Never seen a sausage of such disgusting quality . My eggs had something unsavoury and crunchy in them. Wish I'd read previous reviews before sitting down and putting my self through the trauma

Habíamos estado en una copa 2 días antes (v bueno), así que decidimos volver el domingo por la noche. No fue demasiado ocupado (steampunk fin de semana) y tuvimos un curry y ramón para nuestros platos principales, ambos deliciosos. Todo el crédito al servidor principal (mujer) que era tan servicial, limpiando mesas y en general siendo muy acogedor - ella pasó nuestros complementos al chef para las comidas sabrosas.

Wow amazing little pub. The staff on shift were really bubbly and helpful. Food was superb, the lasagne is to die for. Will definitely be returning!

Popped in for coffee and it didn't fail to let us down. Have been many times over the years and they offer fab cakes , food and coffee in a unique setting. Don't be offended by the decor, see ut for what it was. A character. It's great to see them being displayed and they add character to a silly controversial topic if you're a Karen. It's a doll, a character, a symbol. Research the origins. Your dog is probably more racist than these characters . Give it a go.

Dos grandes desayunos y dos tés. Ingredientes de buena calidad, perfectamente cocinados y servidos por un personal amable y alegre. Excelente relación calidad-precio también. Somos visitantes regulares a la zona de Whitby y sin duda vamos a venir bach a este café.

Parada en The Columbus para una bebida caliente y pastel como un descanso del clima drab Scarborough y no nos decepcionó. Todo lo que puedo decir es que el brownie de chocolate fue WOW, el mejor que mi marido y yo hemos tenido!

Llamé hoy para café y sandwich. Prácticamente tirar sobre la mesa cuando el café servido se derramó por todas partes. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Se retractó y rehecho a regañadientes. No me molestaría en volver. Así era Costa cerca de Morrisons

Llamamos aquí el viernes por la noche. Compré 2 pintas de Heineken. Los llevamos de vuelta al bar mientras probaban y tenían un olor divertido. El personal detrás de la barra hizo que su misión fuera asegurarnos de que no los cambiaríamos o elegiríamos una alternativa. ¡Fueron firmes en que así es como huele y sabe! También preguntando a uno de los habituales que estaba sentado en el bar para probarlo! Lo que pasó con la cortesía común. Sin mencionar su falta de habilidades de servicio al cliente. La mujer detrás de la barra se encontró con muy grosero tan pronto como entramos y preguntó qué ginebra estaba disponible. No volveremos a entrar. A dondequiera que fuimos el personal era acogedor y educado. Lástima que este no fuera el caso aquí. Si no puedes ser cortés con los clientes, por qué trabajar en este tipo de industria. Los modales no cuestan nada.

¡Una mujer rubia increíblemente grosera detrás del mostrador! Nunca volvería y no recomendaría en absoluto, no podía esperar a salir. Apenas me sorprende ver solo a un puñado de personas allí, a las 12:30 en una semana de fiesta en mayo. ¡Gasta tu dinero en otra parte, ella no merece nada de eso!

Acabo de almorzar muy agradablemente hoy 18 de septiembre. Cuatro de nosotros tomando comida y una bebida caliente. Recibido y servido por el personal muy agradable. La comida que tuvimos estaba caliente, sabrosa y muy bien presentada. Cuatro cafés, de nuevo, todos agradables y calientes. En todas partes estaba muy limpio y ordenado. sin duda volveré. Gracias.
