The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Whitby West Cliff Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We found this hidden gem on our recent visit to Whitby. The breakfast was lovely and we had a good portion size. I also ordered the salted caramel and banana milkshake and it was one of the best I've had. The food was lovely and very well priced but the shinning star was Ross. The owner had such great sense of humour and was very chatty and welcoming. He made my partners day with his gaming chat. Honest, hardworking man that made this place different to others 😀 Thank you. Wowser! 16 of our family turned up with no warning, Initially for a cuppa for adults & soft drinks for 6kids, but on seeing the menu, We all decided to sample the food, Some had sandwhiches, others had baked pots, kids had Various, myself had a slice fruit cake, Everyone feasted even odd pudding or two, Staff were so wonderful & accomodating especially as kids such strange mixture of orders, All was delivered by attentirive staff and kids ate heartily We adults had Pots steaming Hot Coffee or Pots tea (old fashioned teacups n saucers were brilliant touch, We all were satisfied with the Food,Drink,Service, can do nothing but recommend this great little Tearoom cafe, We will be back, but promise next time give full warning beforehand, 16 very full & satisfied first time Customers, Well done to all Staff, Many thanks, xx phillip. & family.

Tuvimos deliciosos rollos de tocino y café el domingo por la mañana, con música de arpa en vivo hermosa tocada de fondo, lo disfrutamos tanto que regresamos para almorzar el viernes, para encontrar más música en vivo que se está tocando. Teníamos sándwiches tostados y café, que de nuevo estaban deliciosos. Es un hermoso lugar con buena comida a un precio muy razonable.

Never tire of coming to Sherlocks. Its quirky, cosy and the food is great. Lovely cakes and scones and they also do nice savoury food and lunches. I still have my Sherlocks mug ! There are sometimes queues but most people brave them to get in, and its always worth the wait.

My wife uses a walker. We had never been to the Deli before so were unsure how to proceed. The staff completely ignored us. It was as if we were not there, or invisible. Even as we walked out of the Deli, no staff member offered any acknowledgement of us!

The gallery has been expanded as a result of covid restrictions and the cafe remains closed. A large Art selection to browse Tea and Coffee is available.

Nice Hippy Goth vibe and style but the pastries a few weeks out of date and up-sold coffee all the taste of Mellow Birds. A place to show off middle class neck tattoos.

Visitamos durante unas vacaciones en familia en Whitby y nos encantó tanto que terminamos visitando cada día de nuestro viaje! El café es excelente, el personal es servicial y el ambiente es encantador. A nuestros hijos les encantaron los babychinos y chocolates calientes y nos encantó el café! Este es un café encantador y de clase alta y definitivamente hemos encontrado un nuevo favorito!

Pretty peeved with this place. Score based mainly on the bar being nice and warm on a cold day. Husband ordered a rum and coke and got given a cocktail with a ginger beer base. £24 for 2 drinks. Espresso martini was nice but the experience left a sour taste. Will vote with our feet and not return.

Una joya escondida literal ya que el acceso es ya sea por un camino o desde un pequeño patio. Comidas y pasteles caseros. Hacen papas de chaqueta, bollos, pasteles y su firma Sotta nini, que es un Stottie relleno de varios rellenos y luego tostado como un panini. Personal muy amable. También es un bar para que puedas conseguir alcohol si quieres. Precioso lugar tranquilo con deliciosa comida.

First visit. First impression delightful location. Extremely poor / processed quality food (not uncommon with many cafes/tea shops). Very small slice of cake and eclair with equally small dollop ice cream, cup of tea and mug coffee cost £12.70. As with the venue people seem nice. Accept dogs (which is great). Suggest review and improve quality of food and presentation. Leaving a used cigarette ashtray on table not indicative of professional service.

Popped in for a pint as one of the pubs i hadn't yet visited in Whitby. Can see it's popular with the locals. Friendly staff and a canny atmosphere.

We went for a light bite for lunch, well with the portions serviced, we did not need an evening meal. We had cheese on toast and a fish finger sandwich. Both servings were large, the fish finger was more a small portion of fish in a ciabatta, chips and salad, the cheese on toast has several types of cheese making it very tasty, salad and coleslaw. I could not finish the fish sandwich. Serviced with good ole Yorkshire tea, the best. And if you wish you can order off the dog menu to feed your furry friend while you eat, or share yours.
