The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in West Midlands

Lovely afternoon tea, everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely have this experience again. Staff welcoming and attentive.

Called here a numerous times after our Shropshire holidays on the way back home, it was the end of our hols place to go for.. We won't be going back again food was quite cold and you seemed a problem to give you customer service with a smile.... It has now changed to Dobbies Garden centre.

I am lactose intolerant and requested a plain omelette, I requested plain 3 times so to make it clear. The smallest omelette came no bigger than a round coaster. I started to eat it and it tasted odd my DIL said its been frozen and microwaved which is why it tasted odd, half way round the shop my tummy started, there was obviously cheese in it. Very unhappy, thought we were lucky to get seats on fathers day now understand why. if a kitchen can't cook a plain omelette they really should not be called a restaurant. It is 10 past 9 at night and still feel ill. shameful.

A good selection. We had toasted sandwiches which were all lovely. We also had a kids meal deal (plus a free piece of fruit) which was good too. Staff very friendly. Only let down were the very clean but tired toilets. Only two for ladies, poor layout and tired looking.

I went to order a coffee at 5:55pm this evening. The female barista greeted me by saying “for f*ck sake” because she clearly didn’t want to serve me so late in the day. I told her not to bother and stated I’d spend my money elsewhere. Shockingly appalling service.

The only good thing I can say about this place is the beautiful courtyard setting. We were shown to our table and after 10mins had to go up to the bar to ask for someone to take our order for drinks and food even though there seemed to be enough staff. Eventually someone came and took our order and can honestly say her attitude was the worse I’ve ever encountered, surly and unfriendly as well as brusque. We ordered pizzas as I understood them to be hand made in the pizza oven. Big mistake. They were rubbery and tasteless as well as lukewarm. Will never go back.

We came along to the tearoom with our family who were visiting for the holiday, had lunch and it wasn't the standard expected. My daughter had a panini, and after taking her first bite she had a huge hair in it taking it back she asked for a replacement, and queried no bacon to which she was told it would be an extra £1.50 She paid it and when the new panini arrived it had bacon sure enough...... it was really fatty, she wasn't happy and didn't eat the other half of it. The staff are young and in experienced with the public as didn't know how to address the public correctly, called me love! Food was less than average with nothing adventurous in the salad bowl,just the usual lettuce pepper tomato and Cucumber. No dressing, it was bacon &chicken, the chicken was breaded,overcooked hard with re- constituted chicken yuck- £9 down the drain. I'm so disappointed, we have been coming to this garden centre for many years and I have to say it's the worst meal I've had! I hope that maybe the chef/cook has a more varied and better thought out menu with more interesting things,not breaded battered everything!

Use this cafe quite often - drinks, cakes and service are not an issue. However, on this occasion, a floor spillage was mopped up and the paper towels used were discarded. The girl immediately went on to handle clean cups and glasses ( holding them with her fingers inside ! ), also handling knives along the cutting end. Absolutely no attempt to wash her hands and no sign of disposable gloves. Looking round, some other girls were likewise paying little attention to hygiene. Come on Cafe Nero, get your act together so we can continue to use it.

Rude, abrasive and aggressive staff. Poor quality food. Won’t return. What a shame as it could be great and really busy.

This is an amazing venue offering so much to the visitor. Excellent cafe, great exhibitions and events, cinema, nice little shop and also Cannon Hill Park to wander around in.

Our family always meet here for a catch up. Breakfasts are lovely but bring back grilled tomato and flat mushrooms. Value for money. Excellent service.

It only seems to be nice on a friday. Have tried in the week and on a saturday, bacon is either oinking or if you ask for well done it comes cremated to the point u can snap it in half, the girl on the phone is miserable too, the girl on friday is very polite though! The man who delivers i find can be quite abrupt.

We were served by a batista by the name of Dee, and I must say how polite and professional she was as the customer in front of us was rude to her, and I thought the way she dealt with it was very professional, as it turned out he was in the wrong and didn't even apologise, why staff have to put up with people like him.

I know it's only an M&S cafe but it was really good ! Delicious fresh baked scones, still warm & crumbly, good selection of sandwiches / light bites. It's small, but it's very comfortable & was air conditioned on a very hot day.

Upon entering knights coffee house , I was taken back about the sign on the front door , no prams , no children , but just wanted a coffee first thing in the morning , so just carried on . it was 7.45am and I was with my brother, ordered a coffee and a tea , we were in the city centre to attend a health and safety test locally, my brother opened his phone to get some last minute revision, and was immediately told to turn it off as people have meetings in there ????? There was only one other customer in there and the phone was quiet ! 2 grown adults spoke too like children, I have never been into any establishment and been this surprised by there lack of customer service, if you can’t have volume on your phone , how do they conduct meetings in there , after seeing other reviews I can see that the owners need to be a little more receptive to constructive criticism, as this can only improve your business, the actual business looks really nice , just a shame that the owners have forgotten that we are the customers that keep them going , the other thing that I noticed was the toilets were closed due to a so called leak 🤔not sure I believed them as looked through other reviews and noticed same issue , please take this as constructive feedback, make your business work and enjoy it and your customers, I know this will trigger an aggressive response which I can guarantee is untrue
