Karak Chaii in Birmingham

The food was delicious! Lots of options and reasonably priced! The staff were so polite and friendly in the Nottingham branch, especially Anju who was so warm and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Will definitely be visiting again!

Walking around after dropping off the car at the garage and I came across a board saying 50% off the whole menu opening off! So I thought, why not... In short, Deco', is very nice and luxurious. Service, kind and professional staff, very welcoming. Food is very tasty and presented well. I had the 'english nashta' it was so good, I only remembered to take a pic' half way through... Offer ends 15th July, and I'll definitely be making good use of that.

Most horrible !!!! You order for chicken biryani and this is what I get . Just some white rice thrown into a box with bit of chicken gravy with a tiny piece of chicken It isn’t a Indian restaurant. It’s terrible food too . Please don’t bother wasting your money

I visited today for breakfast between 10am and 11:30am. I ordered Alloo paratha and hot chocolate. I placed the order at 10am and got my Alloo paratha after 20/25mins which is great. The hot chocolate was reminded at 10:30/10:45 and 11am. The staff were EXTREMELY RUDE! Instead of her apologising that it’s delayed for an hour now I will either get it for you or give it on the house she started arguing with me and saying we have to wait. I mean what kind of attitude is this?!! After all that she said have a refund and gave me £2. I turned around and said it’s £3 at lead give me the correct money back. She said I’m being rude! How does this make any sense?! End of the day I am a customer and if she cannot serve properly then she shouldn’t be working here. And apparently she is the manager - well I don’t think she should be the manager if she cannot speak to her customers appropriately. It’s not the first time this has happened. It’s just not fair when you are the customer and you get treated like this even though it wasn’t your fault. I didn’t demand to be handed a hot chocolate instantly. She said it will take 15/20mins I said no problem. But when it’s been over an hour and you’re still waiting for a hot chocolate. How can you explain this?!

Breakfast so delicious comes with spicy sausage, egg, toast , aloo tikka and beans. Great value for money finished off with a lovely cup of.

Karak chai hall green. I placed a phone order on sunday 31st december. After 35 mins of waiting for my order they tell me they have no beans left for the english breakfast when paying. If this was the case i could have been told over the phone when i was ordering and i would not have placed the order. Im disappointed at the attitude and customer service at this place and this is not the first time this has occured. I waited a total of 45 minutes to get my order, this is appauling. The staff are lousy and rude. Do better

staff are really rude and the manager aswell. they got my order wrong and kept rolling their eyes at me and other customers the hot chocolate tastes horrible aswell and they were speaking in a rude tone. don’t come here! they need to sort themselves out!

Hot Chocolate is a waste of money I thought they gave me warm dish water with cream on top Tge food Thali was okay for a single person eating and the milk cakes are nice too. I would forget the Hot Chocolate it’s a waste of money

Loved it! Hot, fresh and served with a smile. So glad Leamington has a place like this. Our little one had a great introduction to Indian street food.

We really wanted to like this place (they do some of our favourite foods) after walking past it one evening and then coming back a few days later especially for it. The portions are tiny child like portions and the pricing is expensive for what you get. We had to go and get something else to eat elsewhere after here.

Decided to try this place for the first time having tried a similar chain on ladypool road Ordered various options including the omelette wrap. A vadapav Chicken tikka sandwich and a few others. The chicken tikka sandwich was ok and probably the best thing of the lot. The vadapav was odd it was very dry and had this frozen cold hard bit sandwiched in the middle which ruined the taste. The omelette in really bland and tasteless sadly. The Mogo chips were nice but there was only 6 of them so not a great portion. Overall this looked really nice decor wise and had a great looking menu but found the food to be a little bland and just average. Having tried quite a street food places around south birmingham it didn't quite meet expectation.

I do think they do the best tea in Birmingham but the customer service is awful! I use the Hallgreen branch and even for a small order your waiting 30 plus minutes. Really need to sort this out, I do feel for the staff as some customers are very rude because of the waiting time!

Fresh breakfast with a crispy prata ….. yum yum. Friendly staff . Clean place . Nice to meet friends , take your family or work . Could be a bit warmer as door remained slightly open .

Today I stood near the counter to just buy one chai . No one in front of me . The girl on the counter nor did aknowledgable me nor did say a thing . Continued to process some take away orders she even took a order over the phone for a customer, I stood there feeling embarrassed and left without ordering anything . This branch opened recently in Ealing and it's my second visit. i do love the karek chaii and also tried butter chicken and chips which is sooooo delicious and such a lovely portion. Full of flavour and ok to feed kids without having to worry about the spice content. The staff are so bubbly and helpful and make you feel like part of the Karek Chaii family. Will definitely be visiting regularly

management stick their dirty fingers in the drinks to see if there warm enough before being served and all your other disgusting trade secrets. Absolutely disgusting, completely haram practices, you should be ashamed. Management have no respect for females, giving them disgusting pet names, unprofessional and inappropriate.
