Awful just awful will never no again they were taking stolen goods and the rif RAF that was in there was just awful, not to mention the state of the toilets.

Awful place, robbers were coming in selling stolen goods and the guy behind the bar was giving them money for them, place should be shut down!!

Welcoming and friendly service with a great night out and BIG A POOL 🎱 TABLE WOULD GO AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO PEOPLE

A good old historic boozer with well-priced drinks. I visit when I'm in the area (and my late father-in-law drank here in the 1930s!). Pool tables etc and even a punching machine. I like it but perhaps not to everyone's taste.

Pretty much empty when I called on a Sunday evening. Pleasant greeting from Mein Host and well kept drinks. Ask for the house spirits otherwise you will be served the premium.

Good local pub. Great beer choice and nice and cheap.

Decent beers including Ansells Mild for £2.50. No dartboard but 2 pool tables at £1 a game.

From the moment of walking in, there’s a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere. Whether you’d like to just have a casual drink with friends or dinner with your family, there’s an area to cater for all. There’s a pool table and a separate area to play darts. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble; every staff member that interacted with us had a smile on their face! The food menu is vast and very tasty, ranging from traditional Indian food, to indo-Chinese and Nepalese. Would defo recommend 👌🏼 will be back for sure!

Barman was helpful and friendly although the smell of toilets / toliet cleaner was present throughout.

Have being comming here regularly now.i cannot fault this place at all.bar staff so friendly serve you with a smile which is nice.got to know me and my wife now .the food is excellent. So tasty with authentic spices.very good portions .service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to freinds and family.would recommend to book table if more than 4 people so you get table as can get busy early evening.

Really nice down to Earth pub with nice clientele and staff, good jukebox, pool table, decent prices, and a small walk or bus to Broad Street after closing time, can highly recommend.

Went in on a Thursday but had a good few people in, both the bartender and locals were friendly. The drinks were cheap and two pool tables is a God send.

Awful,,,, oh my life what have they done to it,,,, filthy from floor to ceiling and the toilets are quite possibly the worst I've seen in the UK

It was my local 30 years ago.so when in Birmingham I always make à effort to have a few pint there I like it.

It smelled of old cigarettes, and then of lit cigarettes INSIDE. The bartender struggled to understand what we wanted (beer, juice, wine & crisps)

The staff was nice after a while until they start sneaking the drinks for them selfs and if you get bullied by one of the bartenders friends and you stick up for your self and stand up for your self the bartender would start pushing you out and banned you from the pub even tho you get bullied I used to love been at that pub but if when the bartenders especially female staff out of controll not professional my experience was good until I started getting bullied and threatened this pub is not recommended for people who is formidable they will take advantage of people who has special needs

A very old, worn and laddish pub, not one I would go into with just me and my partner.

Small local pub, cheap pints - and you end up having a good laugh on Friday nights when the karaoke is on. The hygiene however is really bad, the gents toilets didn't have a door until recently. The place has recently been refurbished with new upholstery.

I went as high as 5 stars because too many idiots eating bad for silly reasons look it's no posh pub it's a friendly local boozer with cheap pints starting at £2.30 in 2018 that's cheap and 3 doubles yes doubles of amaretto and coke for £5 That's insane and music is ok too ...two pool tables pub size and pro size only thing this pub needs is sky sports and lick of paint and would be perfect for me 4 stars is my real rating

Local pub with, not only for sport fans. Much bigger than looks from outside. There is no much choice in this area so when you thirsty you will value nicely poured, not overpriced pint.

Un viejo amigo y yo fuimos para una bebida después de 2 horas en la biblioteca de Birmingham. Una manzana y mango con queso y cebolla fritas mientras actualizarse en ñews y rebobinar en mi karaoke días aquí. Cada viernes noche un grupo de nosotros conocimos a cantar o escuchar alguien cantar. Fue muy divertido. tribu de Shirley se aseguró de que he visto. Una noche que pasamos tela pinzas en algún lugar en nosotros. Una vieja mujer me preguntó por qué nos llevaba y dijeron que porque perteneció a la orden de ropa pinzas. preguntó a unirse y me dio un decorado Peg. Ella estaba lleno de alegría y marcado a su cuello. Siempre tuvimos un loco tiempo allí. El personal era amable y alentadores, especialmente cuando tomé grupos de personas con discapacidad. La visita de esta noche era un recordatorio de esos días. El servicio con una sonrisa, bebidas a precios razonables, limpieza de los toilettes, accesible para todos.

Me sorprende que este pub mantiene en este día y edad. Tiene una buena selección de cervezas, sidras, etc, pero había ale. TV's, fruta máquinas y mesas de la piscina están disponibles, además del pub es el año corriente tranquila un gran bar central. Los clientes habituales y los clientes son un variado y colorido montón cuya lengua es igualmente colorido como sus personalidades. El interior es anticuada y requiere una renovación como las alfombras requiere que limpien sus pies en el camino.
