Marks & Spencers in Malvern Hills

There seems to be lack of evolving the food in all their cafes. Same bog standard stuff. Get the plant based stuff on sale.

No changes to the display of food. All the sandwiches are white bread and once toasted they’re all greasy. No healthy options. More to food now than same old boring stuff that’s been sold for ages

There is a common lack of evolution in cafe food. All of the sandwiches are all basically the same. The cake selection is dated with not much in the way of healthier options.

Some of the cafes in the chain just don’t have the care and desire of this one. This one is certainly the best we visit on a regular basis. We’ve got one in worcester but isn’t as good.

The sandwich was on the top of some places- black, to long she holds in microwave! But I did shame to give back. Because I saw and for other people the sandwich made the same way. In night time I startedto sour with acid and fat. Properly washed my hands and I did put my fingers in my mouth and vomited, did my stomach empty of this terrible food.. Very sad of this restaurant service. People, do think what you eat and don't shame will give the terrible food back to them because our stomach are not rubbish bins for the terrible made food. On a recent trip to Malvern we went to M & S for lunch and a coffee. Lunch was excellent, enjoyed my chips. It was a good coffee and I am fussy!!

Sometimes they’re great sometimes they aren’t so good. On a previous visit I had the chicken noodle salad which was amazing. On this visit the fridges where virtually empty. Another customer came and sat at the table right next to us which made us feel very uncomfortable. You can’t have a conversation with someone starting at you

The lady who served us was lovely. The food was excellent. I’d like to see the plant kitchen options sold in these cafes. All the toasties are cheese. More variety please

They weren’t that busy but they where taking an age to serve people. An elderly lady didn’t understand the app and sparks card system. What’s wrong with a stamp card for the people who don’t have the app ?. Eventually someone else helped to serve however still took an age. Drinks where good

Perfect tea with extra water and milk. Scones are so good, served with Jam and clotted cream. Sandwiches of your own choice and very fresh.

Not long after opening time. Cafe spotless and quiet. Staff delightful, attentive, and efficient, as I always fund them to be . A lively smile makes a great difference. The bacon and scrambled eggs are to die for 😀

Even with a huge queue of customers nobody else was bothered about serving. Only one of the two coffee machines in action. No signs to specify whether you can help yourself to the cakes, no hand sanitiser to use. Staff barging their way through as there was no markers to specify otherwise. The food and drinks where good

This cafe is a total hidden gem with some great little snacks. Thoroughly recommend the sourdough and cheese/tuna toasted sandwich.

Just one complaint about M & S Malvern cafe - please reposition the spot lights, most shine direct into eyes making it uncomfortable

Gotta love a bit of M and S The store once you get in is well laid out a good selection is available the food court is always well stocked

Recently ate here, had fish finger sandwich which was very nice and decent fish fingers too. Only issue was despite there being just 6 people in the cafe in total they took nearly 30 minutes to be cooked and nobody else was eating hot food.They need more staff or a quicker chef!

Terrible service by staff who were more interested in talking to other staff members. Sandwich stale - use by that date. Over charged twice for carrot cake. Another customer bought a sausage sandwich back as it was cold and a customer behind got charged for cream tea instead of green tea! I’ve complained to M @ S who just say they will speak to store manager and train staff better! Suggest you try cafe in Morrisons or cafe Nero nearby.

Nice staff, nice cafe inside the Marks and Spencer store, comfortable chairs , clean. Food was served fresh and tasty.Will go again when in the area.

It is a nice place to have coffee, with tasty cakes available. The only problem can be the slow service at times, even when there does not seem to be a big queue. There was also a better feel to the service when a biscuit came automatically with the drink, as now it feels a bit like being Oliver Twist, having to ask for the biscuit! I understand why M&S are wanting to make sure they are making a profit, as the coffee is not cheap, but this has a bit of a penny-pinching feel to it when compared to how it was. "Penny wise, pound foolish"? I now just go there for convenience and use other cafes more than I once did.

We were there on Xmas eve and there was still plenty of food available. The bonus, was that they had plenty of staff on the checkouts.

Disappointed mid afternoon to find that there are no health choices other than a piece of fruit. Everything else was high carb, sugar-loaded, high fat or other forms of obesity causing food. In stark contrast to the ethos that drives the excellent healthy choices in the foodhall, the cafe is locked into the unhealthy eating ages of the last century.

Visited the restaurant at Marks and Spencer cafe, with my mother as this is her favourite shop EVER. Well, what a disappointment, I ordered the fish and chips, my mother ordered the crispy chicken burger. Such a let down, the chips were what it seemed oven baked and were so dry and hard inedible!! The fish was soggy. Chicken burger soggy also with a measly portion of coleslaw. Poor quality food for such a well known store. However the service was good.

After being away from the UK for 10 years plus - just had to go to M&S - and this was the luck store - we purchased both food and clothing - wow things have changed in 10 years.

The cafe was clean tidy and inviting. The staff where friendly and helpful. We had two sausage baps, two caramel shortbread and two mocha drinks. All where lovely and a welcome late lunch. Highly recommended

Staff are always pleasant and professional. Good choices for lunch or a snack. Pleasant atmosphere. Good for meeting friends and family or eating on your own.

Called in here as a break from shopping, not very good at all . The queue was very long , and there were several dirty tables . The poor staff just could not cope , with the amount of people. Definitely more staff needed .

Had a perfectly lovely cup of tea , staff lovely and friendly, very helpful with my mum who's in a wheelchair

Just popped in for a coffee whilst shopping in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet when we visited, Whilst giving my order in, I noticed the tables were cleared very quick as soon as they were vacated.

Very rushed making of coffee and poor frothed milk. Need to learn barista skills. Shame as usually pretty good.

Visited cafe with my fiance, staff courteous and swift service, Cafe was very clean and staff quickly cleaned up surrounding tables. Scone and clotted cream and jam were scrumptious. We will visit again when shopping on the retail park

Stopped here for lunch after a visit to an Experience Day including Driving Experience, Motor Museum and Factory Tour and the lunch in the M&S; Cafe was excellent.

Nice cafe, nice food and good service, but when we used the toilets in the store before leaving, they were awful. Dirty, messy, smelly and in general bad repair. They need a good clean and regular checks at the very least, but really a complete refit.

I was somewhat surprised to read poor reviews on this cafe particularly in relation to the staff, as over the years we have visited on many occasions and without exception the staff have been pleasant and chatty even when the place has been busy. The food and drinks are good, even if some things are somewhat on the pricey side for a cafe and if I were to have one criticism, it would be that on occasions the floor is littered with food from messy kids and this does not get attended to. On the whole I find it a pleasant place to have a drink and a cake or a light snack.

Quick bite was had coffee and cake. Perfectly clear and nice. Tucked behind the kids clothing on the upper floor its little cafe seemed quite popular with the older generations enjoying lunches and cream cakes.

Best afternoon tea and scones in Malvern - the two for 2 is amazing Busy when weather is poor Friendly staff.

Thank you Beth and tge lady who delivered our food for an efficient and smiling service. A pity the other staff allowed there resentment for their work to show in a total lack of service and disinterest.

Been in loads all over the country and have recently been in here three times and the service has been a joke everytime.The staff just dont seem to co ordinate with each other.They all need to visit any other M&S; store to see how it should be done.We both ordered toast last time,easy you would think.In the Torquay store recently a similer order arrived at the table before my wife had left paying at the till.Here one plate arrived and was consumed by my wife before mine arrived and she is a slow eater.They need a good shake up im afraid.Sorry

Ordered a chilled iced coffee and they made it with water and very little milk. It was horrible. Generally it's great here.

Friendly staff and good food, whether you want a tasty treat or a full lunch, they have it all. You can taste food in restaurant and then buy it from the store too.

I frequently visit the cafe. There is a great selection of food and drinks available. The prices can be a little high but then they are probably comparable to the other well known coffee chains on the high street. The staff are always helpful and efficient. The only downside is how busy it can be, the queues are often long and I also struggle getting around the cafe with my pushchair as well as finding somewhere with enough room to sit down with it. These are things that probably can't be helped.

Delicious food, friendly staff, clean restaurant. It certainly ticked all my boxes and so much better than the McDonalds nearby.
