13 walkers enjoyed an excellent meal yesterday. The Pensioners lunch deal was excellent, food delicious, the feta salad starter was much enjoyed, generous portions, what more can I say. Staff friendly and accommodating.Plus a good selection of beers and cider. Thank you!

Beautifully presented, tasty food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff, quick service and comfortable surroundings. Not to mention the number of ciders on tap.... Easily the best kept secret of this area. Recommend the upgrade to dirty fries with the main meals - delicious!

Stop off whilst in the area following a day out. We were warmly greeted, offered a table and sat down.. Good drinks selection and the table service was perfect. Served by an amazing young woman who was super friendly and very helpful (she bore a striking resemblance to Jacqueline Jossa may I add 😁) Food was delightful really good menu and the food was very good. Atmosphere here is super relaxed and friendly and despite it being populated with locals we did not feel unwelcome quite the opposite. If you are passing by worth a visit.you will not be disappointed.

Lovely country pub with great quality food and laid back atmosphere

We went for Sunday lunch at the Masons Arms and were greeted with a warm welcome. The service was unrushed and excellent throughout. Everything that we ordered was delicious, piping hot, and freshly cooked, with compliments to the chef. The choice of meals from multiple menus was outstanding, catering for adults and children, with a fantastic vegan menu too. We can't wait to go back and can't praise it enough. Highly recommended. 10/10

Great pub, only stopped for a drink

My other half and I were staying in a property not far from here. We read the reviews online and thought it was worth a try. And it was. Lovely pub, great location and really lovely interior, nice and cosy. We both had beef Sunday roast which were really good. Great value for money, tasty food and plenty of it. The service was very good as well.

Stumbled across this gem of a place. Absolutely beautiful building. Superb service. Lovely selection of Gins (other drinks also available) & delicious food. I was eating out in the evening so only wanted a light snack after a long journey. The Hoisin Chicken Wings on the starter menu & fries were just perfect! Will definitely be going back when I’m not eating out though as the Lamb Shank looked banging!

This place is fantastic. We visited on a busy Thursday evening which did slow service somewhat but not to the detriment of the experience. The food was great (we both had pizzas) and would thoroughly recommend. The decor is awesome as a proper country pub. I especially liked the chalk board drinks lists on the beams to help take out the panic choice when you get to the bar.

Gem of a pub, disabled parking, and easy access into the pub, very nice decor and friendly atmosphere, staff were happy and friendly. glad we booked as busy for a Wednesday evening. My partner had salt & Pepper squid, followed by lebanses chicken shawarma kebab, tasted lovely. I had Asian hoi sin sticky beef with rice gorgeous, followed by cheesecake of the day Amaretto, probably the best dessert I have eaten in a long time.

Brilliant food , really clean , will go again

First of all 5 stars is not enough for the food and service they also allow dogs in which is great to see nowadays we were enjoying the food so much we didn't even take pics till half way through they do a wide range of vegan and vegetarian food Inc deserts, which they had a dedicated menu for, as well as a gluten free menu they dont do accommodation here, but they did allow us to stay in our camper overnight here in their car park at no extra cost other than food and drinks in the pub they also do a take away menu thank you guys, you were great, with an excellent chef and service to match

Very small portion for the price I'm sure my fish wasn't dead because it must of eat most of my chips disappointed

Booked a table for brothers birthday. We had a nice meal. Service was good. Bar staff were lovely polite and real helpful. Thank you for making it an enjoyable night.

The food is awful! We’ve been twice and was hoping the first time was a bad day for the chef. However, second time round…we won’t be returning for a third time unfortunately. The burger had no sauce or salad in its bun! The curry (chicken and veggie ordered) both bland and tasteless, the pizza got a 4/10. Then the deserts, now this was the real let down. We ordered the Biscoff Sunday which was made with the cheapest vanilla (crystallised) ice cream I’d ever tried, two Biscoff biscuits broken into large chunks and squirty cream from a can. The brownie was lousy too apparently, which wasn’t a surprise. Very disappointing all round. The atmosphere is nice though

I like this pub. Nearly moved next door. Chose not to due to planning for wedding function expansions. Beer ok, staff are a little shy in so cases but polite and do their job. Can see no reason to not try it. Drop in after a walk round the Martley Corcular!

Sorry but its probably the worse vegetable lasagne I have eaten, over cooked slodgy pasta, a few vegetables in a tasteless tomatoes sauce and some grated cheese on top. Wouldn't recommend eating there otherwise okay.

Great pub, nice beer, good food, reasonable prices. It is a bit out of the way, but as a result treads a really tricky yet successful line between being a nice place to go for a meal, or just a drink, whether you are looking for a gastro pub, or a local farmhands' boozer...everyone is happy, with a super-friendly welcome from the staff. Definitely worth a visit - on a sunny day it's quiet with an amazing view, and if it's cold, it's cosy, with a log fire.

Very personable staff, nice environment inside and outside, attached carpark, outstanding views of the countryside and easy to find. The Masons Arms is just half a mile from St Peter's C of E, which was mentioned in the Domesday book.

5/5 star experience, excellent food, really friendly and hard working staff, we have come a few times and every time we have been, its always been exceptional!!

Found this pub by google. Great find. All staff lovely. Nothing too much trouble, the food was great as was the atmosphere.

Superb! Lovely meal, they cater for dietary needs perfectly and it’s so nice to eat somewhere you trust without fear of a reaction. I had the Sirloin steak and the others had sticky beef and vegetable lasagne. All lovely meals.

Went with some friends and had a lovely meal. A really good atmosphere and a nice selection of drinks. Robinson’s is a lovely local cider. We ate tapas but the MFC chicken my friend had looked amazing. Well worth a visit

Excellent Sunday roast and great service.

We popped in for an early dinner and chose from the 'seniors' menu. The food was satisfactory, but a bit minimal - in retrospect we should have chosen a full meal. The girl that served us was very friendly and attentive.

We found that the food was very good and the service again was fine.Good selection of beer but as I was the driver a soda and lime was my tipple.

I always enjoy the drive through the countryside to this pretty and relaxing pub. We visited for lunch and ordered the mezze and a couple of extra items from the tapas menu. It all arrived beautifully presented and we had a highly enjoyable time munching our way through all the different flavours ! In fact there was so much we couldn’t polish it all off - much as we would have liked to ! I definitely recommend visiting this welcoming, relaxing, and very pretty pub in the countryside.

We’ve been in a few times for drinks and finally went for food. Ordered the fillet steak on the specials menu, it was incredible. Staff are lovely, food is great and the background music finishes off the great setting. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Really good food and service in a cosy welcoming pub. We had a large group (10) so were asked to book ahead, but not a problem, menus were all online. Ten clear plates, even from the fussy kids!

Good food with decent vegan options, friendly staff and a cosy setting. They also have a range of draught ciders including locally produced Robinsons. As a lifelong cider drinker originally from Essex, a pub with any draught cider that is not Strongbow is a real treat.

Nice atmosphere. Great burger. If you don't want your food on a plank.🙄 Check first. They will happily put it on a plate.

Popped in here as we were looking for a quick bite but it was nearly 2pm so kitchen was closing. The land lady said if we wanted food she would re open kitchen, so instead of just sandwiches etc, we opted to eat off the menu. Lovely little pub great atmosphere and food was nice. Thankyou to the Great service from a Landlady who cares about her customers and went above and beyond re opening kitchen. We will be back. Thankyou

This is one of my favourite pubs. Great menu, fab food and the staff are always welcoming. Perfect garden with children’s play area for summer visits and cosy and warm with log burners in the winter. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Well done Masons team...

Visited on a weekday after works with my husband and son and decided to have some Tapas. Such a mistake. I have never eaten Tapas like it. £7 something for 5 of the smallest prawns (not king) in sweet chilli sauce out of a jar....

It was pretty okay, I had the chicken shwarma which was kinda disappointing, more rocket leaves than chicken. The Feta Salad was nice and so were the onion rings and fries, which were hot and crispy. The fried chicken was good, and the burger was okay. The desserts took a while to arrive, (it was very quiet) and mine was slightly wrong, milk chocolate instead of white. The crumble wasn't great either, 90% fruit with a bit of crumble dust on the top. Drinks were nice.

Was recommended by a local guy I know, which is always a good start. From the minute we walked in the service was excellent. Both staff members were polite, friendly and very helpful. The menu was different, but varied and catered for all, even the kids menu was good. To top it off the food was fantastic, probably one of the nicest fillet steaks I've had, and really good size portions. Admittedly, it was quiet when we visited, so service is always going to be better at these times. However, I can only review our experience and it was 100%........thank you....

Unable to rate food and drink as never had any. When we arrived we were asked to sit and they would come to take drink order. 20 minutes later still no drinks. 2 other tables who both arrived after were both served with no problems. Decided not to wait any longer and walked out.

Ordered for collection but apparently the staff found the distinction between 5 and 6 difficult. I was unaware a pizza could look ill or be albino. I also thought tomato sauce was a key ingredient on a pizza - apparently not. Although, the beef tomatoes...

A wonderful meetup with friends from the Wirral we chose here as its close to where we live. We enjoyed a lovely warm welcome, we're given the option of sitting inside at our booked table or outside in the warm sunshine. We chose starters, main courses and pizzas all to be brought out together so we could share. A seamless, friendly service with yummy home cooked food. Loved the pizza. Thank you.

Went for lunch it was a lovely day day so sat outside. Wasn't busy they had not long opened. The service was good,I wanted a salad which wasn't on the main menu but the young lady found me one on the vegan menu. Which I will say was lovely. Very helpful without being pushy will be going back
