Excellent place for a lovely bacon sandwich and a cup of tea at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff and best setting in Upton...10/10

We had never been here before, fancied a cup of tea, popped in and ordered to be told cash only. The tea was weak, the hot chocolate was instant Cadburys. The service was OK. We should have gone to the pub next door.

Great place but cash only. Time to get in to 2022. Staff said they were trying to preserve cash but why? Said how are you going to pay your gardener or window cleaner? We pay our by BACS. Easy. Please get a card machine

I can imagine this location gets busy in the height of tourist season. Today we were the only table in - but had just wanted a cup of coffee so were not disappointed.

The coffee was tasteless. Paid 30pence for an extra shot coffee. Still no taste. Cost then £2.50 per mug.

Only stopped for a pot of tea for two, which was very disappointing. Definitely no flavour in the tea could have been drinking anything. The tea itself did not look weak but absolutely flavourless tea.

a small, but well run tea shop/ cafe. We wanted a quick sandwich to take away, and the lady was very accommodating. Very impressed!

Called into The Old Stables Tea Shop a few times while staying in Upton Upon Severn. Very good service each time & friendly staff & reasonable prices. Plenty of seating outside with Sun shades & situated in a very convenient location next to the River Severn & local shops & Pubs.

Came here with family after a walk by the river. Had a lovely and warm welcome by very friendly staff. Ordered 2 cream teas for mum and grandad which they absolutely loved! Myself and partner had a Cornish pasty which was served with a good sized side salad. Had 2 cappuccinos and 2 teas which were made perfectly and they had a good selection of cold soft drinks for the walk home. Very reasonable priced. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Popped in as walking through Upton U Severn and fancied a coffee and cake break. It looked inviting from outside and the lady who greeted us was friendly and welcoming. We ordered two cream teas - one with coffee. The scones were definitely not homemade and I think had been defrosted - they were served warm and spongy - I suspect they had been taken out of a plastic wrapper and microwaved. They were the worst scones I have ever tasted and neither of us could finish them. My coffee was a mug of weak, instant coffee - it was not even real coffee - and I simply had a sip and left it. My wife’s tea was weak and milky and had no flavour. We both left our drinks as well, paid £8 and exited. Would not return or recommend, despite the pleasant location/setting.

This is a delightful tea shop, excellent food and drink, somewhat limited menu but all freshly cooked. The only tiny criticism would be sliced bread, a nice doorstop would have been preferable to me. The tea cakes were especially nice. Indoor and outdoor seating and a lovely couple serving complete the perfect picture

The whole team went above and beyond to deliver a great night for my 50th birthday bash. The dedication and attention to detail was 10/10 throughout the whole night. The food was exceptional and to execute 3 courses for 37 guests was just amazing. Special thanks to the whole team – bar staff & chefs and Nibs & Laura to make it a memorable night!

Spot on service and food! We visited here on a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was busy and despite this, we had excellent service. The food was brilliant, I had the Dragon Pie and it was quite honestly the best pie I have eaten in a long time.

After living in the area for years we finally visited the Den. Tea and a panini was ordered by both of use. We were warned of a wait, but it didn't take too long. Good quality ingredients and tasty. Well worth a visit
