Alway enjoy the Crown, a beautiful well-kept pub offering good value for money food and excellent service.

Had a really lovely date night with my partner here. The food was amazing the staff (particularly mark) were really helpful polite and friendly. couldn't ask for more! Will definitely be coming back!

Staff are great, even on a busy saturday it was a great experience. Fish was very tasty and the puddings were also very good. Staff very attentive despite being busy. Missed the waffle pudding I have had previously but the salted caramel sundae was super tasty. A very great experience. Will look forward to a return

Great spot for a family meal together in a classic British country pub. Food was delicious and our sever Manu was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Arrived at a busy period but were given a choice of seating.Some delay in obtaining drinks and placing food order. Possibly would have been avoided with more waiting staff?When food arrived good qualty and well presented.

Called in for breakfast, it was lovely.

Been here for breakfast twice in the past few months and they’ve been delicious both times. The meat tastes local and good quality but still affordable pricing, honestly couldn’t fault it. Plus staff super lovely as well!

Went here recently on a Friday mid morning after a long dog walk & Georgie made us feel very welcome. Full breakfast was good & my wife enjoyed the farmers breakfast which she said was hearty & healthy.

I took friends with all our children and we were so impressed with the kids menu. As always could play in the garden and climb the trees. Staff were so friendly and the food was great. I last came after lock down and didn't have a good experience but it has hugely changed with the quality of the food, friendliness of staff and menu is also a-lot better. I am so glad as it offers lovely winter and summer atmosphere and such a nice pub in general.

What a disappointing New Years Eve meal

You know what it's like when you're looking forward to going out for a meal then wish you weren't disappointed? Yep this was one of those visits. I booked a table for my husband and myself on New Years Eve for 7pm so we could get back for the festivities. I'd already decided I wanted a steak as I like the way it's cooked here. We arrived early but we're pleased to be led to our table. I ordered the sirloin to be told they had run out. It wasn't even 7pm on NYE, maybe one of the most popular nights of the year! Ok no problem I'll order a rib eye. Nope ran out too. I am not keen on rump steak which they had left so quickly ordered a gammon. My husband asked me why I'd ordered that for a special meal but I didn't know what else to order. He suggested I try the rump so he went up to our waiter to ask him to change the order which he did. It arrived and looked cooked to my liking, medium rare. I didn't really enjoy it as I don't like the flavour of rump so my hobby suggested I ask for a peppercorn sauce but the people on the next table had just asked for some and were told it had sold out also.I wrapped my leftover steak into my napkin to take home foe the dogs.

Manu was excellent - very friendly and sweet! The food was yummy and good service overall. Would recommend!

We went for Christmas Eve lunch as a group of 7. We had pre ordered the food which was delivered promptly and without issue. Manu was our waiter and was really helpful, efficient and kind. Thanks Manu!

The pub was so welcoming and decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was so clean and the staff were wonderful. The food was amazing and the service spot on. It was also dog friendly with dog blankets, a water station and dog treats which made the experience awesome for our dog too.

Food very delicious money worth portion and mark was fantastic nothing was too much trouble for him. Very friendly and polite.

Visited The Crown this morning and met one of the managers, Laura. What an outstanding, incredible host!! I was accidentally earlier than usual opening times but Laura was so very welcoming and served me a coffee. She continued with exceptional customer service going above and beyond any expectations I had. She is a genuinely warm, friendly and naturally kind, caring person and host. The food was sensational too. I've been to the Crown many times now and their food has always been fantastic. Really enjoyed my visit this time though, made all the more special by Laura. The icing on the cake will be if you can name the song playing?!! 😊 WELL DONE and thank you! Richard x

Steak sandwich is by far the best in Worcester! Steak cooked to perfection, amazing fries and salad and the gravy is to die for!

Food was disappointing - had the gammon and egg with pineapple.. even with a steak knife, the pineapple was rock solid. Service was friendly but very slow when there was only 3 tables actually having diners in the restaurant, we still had to go to the bar to ask to pay our bill before we left.

What a lovely place! I brought my daughter for her birthday as it is one of her favourite places (especially the onion rings). The staff "gingy and abbie" were a 10/10 really kind and friendly ❤️ and the food was bangin🔥

We celebrated my father’s 90th birthday party in the tee pee The staff really looked after us especially gingy who went above and beyond. She did a fantastic job of decorating the tee pee and taking care of us all which made it super special

We called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch without a prior booking. Despite the fact that they were fully booked we were offered a table which was perfectly acceptable. We were made extremely welcome with our dog and had the most wonderful Sunday lunch. We both chose the slow cooked rib of beef which was delicious and served with a very generous portion of fresh veg , roast potatoes and crispy Yorkshire pudding! Highly recommend!!!

Used the Tipi for my 90th Birthday. Had a lovely time and was looked after by Gingy. Food was excellent. Thank you very much.

Vegetable Medley - interesting idea but very odd. Mix of cold salad veg and just warm courgette, chickpeas and squash. The bread was awful - inedible sadly Hubbys burger was ok

The lady serving us today..went above and beyond..we had just had to evacuate due to our lodge being flooded. She showed us such kindness what a beautiful soul.. and a fantastic hearty breakfast was exactly what we needed , once again The Crown 👑 you smashed it x Huge Thank you from The Jones x

Appalling service from start to finish. Lovely staff just not enough of them , cold food, meat served to someone who ordered veggie, Waiting time was awful, when food arrived it was barely warm , kids desserts arrived, asked for a menu for adults which arrived but almost an hour wait until someone came to take orders which no one wanted by then. Ordered coffees which were lukewarm . Most of the food we had was lovely it was just cold or left under heat lamps so long it was rock hard which was such a shame. Felt so sorry for the girls running around apologising for the delays. Disappointed after a recommendation to visit here . Must mention the lovely girl behind the bar who was very helpful and also our waitress whose name I didn’t catch. Both an asset to you.

After a bad experience at another chef and brewer we were given a voucher as compensation so decided to try here .the food was outstanding presentation excellent piping hot .service was first class. Even though there was a wake going on in the other end of pub it didn't interfere with our experience. Thankyou for everything ladies .I had the fish and changed the chips for mash and my partner had wide boar scotch egg to start and the chefs special fish pie his comment was it's the best he's every had .it was just so nice to eat and not have anything to complain about .very happy once again thankyou ladies

Whilst this review is for The Crown, which has a lovely atmosphere, great food and drink…Mark and his team make this place what it is. Mark especially is 100% who you would want leading from the front in your business. He is made for hospitality, made for making your evening an experience not just a meal out. We have had a busy few months so haven’t been out for dinner in a while, we arrive and are acknowledged in passing due to it being so busy, Mark comes back as promised and gets us a lovely table, asks us if we want a large New Zealand and a Coke.. yes we bloomin do Mark!! He knows his customers SO well and this is what makes all the difference. The chef on the night did a grand job, we went traditional with Toad in The Hole and Cod and Chips - delicious, starters were pork belly bites - melt in your mouth and I always have Calamari! The drinks served chilled, prompt and with a smile - this a rarity in some establishments now which is such a shame. Anyway 10/10 for The Crown and 100/10 for Mark and the Team. Thank you for making our week night treat so great. See you all soon

Nice pub, very friendly and polite staff. Unfortunately food was poor. Dish1 was fish pie. A lot of mashed potato , very little sauce, very little fish. Dish 2. Belly pork. Nicely cooked meat, poor accompanying veg. Unlikely to visit again

We have had meals at The Crown on a number of occasions over the last year or so and have never been disappointed. The food and service have always been faultless. A major bonus for us is that our dog is always made most welcome with biscuits and water available as well as a dog blanket if needed. The staff have always been efficient, very friendly and pleasant. Manu served us last Saturday and we were very impressed.

The roasts are on point here, we keep coming back. Nice service, cheers Manu & the rest of the team. We had the slow cooked beef & pork.

Amazing meal this evening at The Crown. We had a lovely lady looking after us called Georgie and she made us feel really welcome. We will definitely be visiting again.

Whilst the food was reasonably good, the service was very poor. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our meals While 3 meals came to the table together, my wife had to wait a further 10 minutes for her. When we asked where her food was, the response was,' it's coming!' It was as if asking was an inconvenience. Will we be returning, no, not after that experience!

Probably the worst roast I’ve had since the school canteen. Served by a lovely lady, very attentive without intruding, however the food was absolutely abysmal. The potatoes did very much seem to be frozen and thrown in the oven for a blast. I couldn’t eat the pork loin due to its awful flavour and the crackling was the saddest, bendiest shard of translucent rubber. You can probably cook better veg at home on the radiator. Will not be visiting again while a chef and brewer.

Delicious meal! Ellesse was especially lovely and really knowledgeable and patient with my food intolerance. One thing I would suggest though is having one than one iPad for the filtering out food allergies, as even though the pub was quiet, I wasn't able to use it because it was being used by other people. Other than that we all had a wonderful evening at The Crown Inn and will definitely be visiting again! 😁

Unfortunately, real bad experience for our first visit, service was slow (was not very busy there) Cauliflower cheese was very poor for £2.99, it was just Cauliflower with a sprinkle of cheese and the pot was full of water. Was not given much meat and the roast potatoes looked like they had been reheated. To top it off we was greeted by a maggot on the table (after the food was brought out) this put us all off our food. They were questioning if it was there before but we had been sat there for 30 minute's so no chance we had not spotted it. They did not charge us for the food but they did not clear the table straight away, they rook 2 plates and left the rest, we left about 30-40 minutes later once we finished our drinks and the plates were still on the table. Very disappointing for a first visit.

Pleasant dining experience, good food and good service.

Worst meal we ever had . Out of 4 meals only one was edible and that was the burger. I had pie and mash the others had a carvery. All of our food was cold. Sent it back (so they must have put it in the microwave) but it was still cold. The mash did not look appetizing at all. Sent it back did not want anything else but they did do us a ploughman's to share ( obs didn't need to be cooked) and that was as nice as it got. Eventually after speaking with the manager they did not charge us. It's terrible service and will not be going back. Does not deserve even one star

Came here for food and few drinks, lovely pub and the service was great. Mark was a great host and the food was lovely I would recommend the glazed pork
