Needs a thorough clean inside and out!

I didn’t eat here so I don’t know about the food. Had a lovely Sunday drink there. I did see food come out and looked very nice 👌

Friendly staff but there was no atmosphere and the drinks were expensive

Pleasant,tidy , good service ,beer kept well , asked if they would put the Moto GP on the Tele and only too happy to do so

Lovely little traditional style pub with a refreshing atmosphere. The open mic night every Sunday is fantastic with lots of great acts! They also show sports on multiple large TVs. Good selection of drinks and right in the centre of town with parking nearby.

newly refurbished and new owners to the Pheasant!! pleaae visit this establishment, it has everything, a lovely bar area, dedicated cocktail bar upstairs (with blue light card holders discount) & a fabulous sports bar area in the back. We were made to feel so welcome & definitely will visit more and recommend everyone to visit please!! The guiness is on point!!

Reopened recently, great place in midweek to watch sport and food was good value bar food. Good variety of beer on tap!

Sat in the cocktail lounge, lovely welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a few cocktails, must say the best I'd had in a very long time. Could actually taste the alcohol! Particularly enjoyed the bounty bar Martini, Pina colada and the pheasant cocktail. Definitely be back soon. Didn't eat but the food looked lovely

Just reopened this week. The cocktail bar upstairs has a varied menu. The staff are very helpful & the cocktails are great!

Good atmosphere, helpful bar staff...all in all a good pub in the old part of the city... Enjoyed it...popped in after an evening at Worcester's annual pre Xmas Victorian Fayre

Really nice ambience + good food n drinks with affordable prices. Good laugh watching football and playing darts with the lads. Well worth an extra 3 mins of walking from the high st - big upgrade from spoons! 🍻

No toilet paper in the ladies and told I was rude for suggesting they should have change for drinks paid for with cash. Nothing on the door to say they are a cashless pub 🤷‍♀️ ... need I say more

Great little pub hidden away just off the high st. Great selection of drinks, staff nice and pleasant , food is nice. Great big portions went for a double burger with fries and proper onion rings and couldn't finish the meal. Burgers are thick, juicy and taste lovely. Would definitely go back when shopping in Worcester ..

Rude staff grunt at you & they don’t accept Amex which it clearly stats on the door a cards accepted with Amex on it. This was very disappointing and for the guy behind the bar to loudly shame me saying it been declined loudly when other people were stood at the bar I found quite disgusting! I then asked you do accept Amex as it says on the door he just looked at me and grunted don’t know then again shamed me saying it had been declined for a second time loudly. I had lucky got other cards and money with me but it’s beyond the point. Staff training is a must as this was belittling and embarrassing for me!

Really Friendly staff, ordered some Deliveroo not realising that we had to heat it in the microwave! These excellent staff happily chucked the foot in the microwave and Happy days. We could actually eat our takeaway. Also great atmosphere and excellent service.

Food was burnt all come out at different times.

Nice pub but well over the top on prices

Lovely old Tudor pub, inside has wood panels and beams, the staff were attentive and ensured an empty glass was filled if required well worth a visit especially to see the other Tudor building on New and Friar streets.

Taco Tuesday was great. Portion sizes for the price are really great, I'd have preferred a smaller option so not to waste food but the flavours and taste were amazing.

The internal decor has improved a lot since I last came here a few years ago and looks great, decent variety of food options on the menu, we had a buffalo chicken burger which was excellent value for money, and a good portion of fries on the side. They had Beavertown on tap too when we visited. Friendly and attentive staff who are still operating table service for the foreseeable future.

Excellent service for a group of us watching sport in the back room. Very well looked after by a young man (originally from Leicester if my memory serves me correctly!) Great menu selection of both drinks and food. Food is fabulous and lovely atmosphere to complete a great day.

Hired the upstairs so we could have a private area for the evening. Rhe service was spot on and food was amazing as always. Everyone had a great time!!

Bar23 has a great atmosphere for sports! The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of food deals throughout the week and I will definitely be visiting again to try more! Would definitely recommend a visit 👌🏻🍻

Retaining an oasis of normality in the current mad climate. Good range of drinks and a solid atmosphere. Booking is easy and communication is quick if you have a query. Once there, check in was prompt and table service was attentive without being intrusive.

An querky, down to earth pub, with great staff and an amazing selection of food. Been here a few times on "Wings Wednesday" and the food has been out of this world. Highly recommended!

Not a huge choice of food but what they do is good. I would recommend what I had for sure.

This place is a real good spot! Current restrictions mean you can’t go inside, however they have a lovely beer garden/terrace! Umbrellas to stop you from getting wet in the rain... when the suns out it’s a sun trap for when you want a little warmth! Food is epic! Tacos and nachos are my favourite and the staff their are super friendly and welcoming. Go to this place! You won’t regret it... and when the footballs on and we’re allowed back inside... great atmosphere to watch sport!

Last meal before lockdown, first at bar Twenty Three (eagerly anticipated) Cheeky wing Wednesday for the boys and a chicken burger, gyros and nachos for the girls. All the food was amazing. Like... Amazing. Meaty big saucy wings. The best nachos I've ever tried. Dreams were had that night by all 4 of us of when we can eat it next. If we can't arrange a collection dinner for Nov you can be sure we'll be back post lockdown and dying to try the new menu. Oh... And beer selection top notch. Corona on draft, Camden hells, beavertown as well as ales. The dream. See you guys soon!

Brilliant drink selection, amazing atmosphere and the food was banging!

Great atmosphere, good drinks selection, wing Wednesday is ace and taco Tuesday! Food tasty, fresh and comes out piping hot! Lots of sanitiser and cleaning going on and good social distancing measure in place!

Decided to try a restaurant where I hadn't been before, glad to say I will definitley be back soon. Service was quick and food was full of flavour and great value for money. Will have to go back sometime soon for wing Wednesday!

Second time eaten here and this time even better than the first. Great tasty food and loads of drinks to choose from. Had a gyro and a couple of sides to share and was well satisfied. Nice one

I would HIGHLY recommend the gyros! You could easily have that on its own and it would fill you up. The atmosphere was great in there, and it was just a Wednesday night, so I can imagine it’s great on a weekend. The selection is more than just your average pub grub, it was great to see some variety. Staff were all very helpful and attentive, the only thing I would say is that the food took a while to come, but sitting with the sports screens on the time flew by (and we did order a lot). The precautions and measures they’ve put in place to keep everyone safe were great and seemed to do the job 👍🏼

Great new addition in an old boozer. Redesigned in 2019 with a smarter interior and gastro grub. Great for footie too.

On a tour of old Worcester pubs, we tried this one out and were thoroughly disappointed. Blaring rock music, screaming child running around playing with parents. Totally destroyed the mood. Would not return.

Spent weekend at worcester,me&partner denise had sunday lunch in old pheasant,denise told barman to say to chef tenderest beef tastied for years,as for me had vegetarian option both very good,also added bonus for me barman from same area as ourselves wolverhampton& a follower of football club.recomend.

The Old Pheasant is one of Worcester's many beautiful old Tudor half-timbered buildings. Friendly staff, good drinks, food looked good even though we didn't eart there.

Great food, particularly the genuine hand cut (THICK) chips. Dart board exceptional. Upstairs loft-worldy.

It’s a lovely old quirky pub but with fantastic food an great atmosphere we went there for a meal on a Friday and ended up staying all night the night we went there was live music later on which was great Iv been several times and weather it just for a quiet drink a lovely meal or a night out with music an dancing its all ways been great There is a function room as well so great for party’s

Dropped in for a light meal but a steak Baguette with chips was very tasty and very filling also others in party had special pub Baguette also a Lasagna excellent food and excellent value much more than a light meal

Olde Worlde pub which is full of character, what was surprising to find was a DJ playing music, which seemed to work, made for a fun night.

Well, last minute decisions and what a great choice we made. Wonderful fish and chips indeed. Door piping hot and fresh. Had a bit of a sports bar theme, slightly quirky as an old pub in Worcester’s historic city centre.

Last Friday my family and I went to the Old Pheasant, despite being very full the staff were quick to sort us out. A tanned,handsome young man rushed to clean and make us a table, bless him. The food was amazing ( I recommend the zeze burger). I really enjoyed my experience here and I will be returning in the future.

Called in for a quick lunch. Decided to go with the pie`s and was not disappointed. Good real ales too.

Called in for lunch, ordered fish, chips & peas and a curry with homemade chapatti. When food arrived there were two very small fish goujons and chips on my plate, and no chapatti with the curry. The waiter apologised and said that they only had small fish, no peas and had not made the chapattis!! When I paid the barman asked if the food was OK and I explained the missing bits. "Oh" was the reply. Will try another pub on our next visit.

Very lively and popular place. Food was good but they were late and slpebringing out my food. Everyone else was eating and i was still waiting. Why not bring all the food out together? Wasn't very happy about that
