Excellent breakfast, well presented and very tasty, very good value. The service was very efficient and all staff were very friendly. A good selection of pastries and cakes to.

One of the very few traditional pubs left in the area. Still love the old style windows and decor the way it should. Toilets were clean lunch time and service prompt. It’s not the cheapest pub in the city at £12.40 for a kronenberg and double gin and tonic but after jewellery shopping in the area it’s a welcome oasis.

Quiet little pub with a good selection of real ales. Dog friendly and well worth walking up the steep Cartway to get here!

This is now the Woodyard café and is typical of most NT cafés. The sponge cake was complete so you'd think it would be fresh and moist but was a bit dry. Both the cakes were overpriced. The service was slow with the young woman still bringing out the produce as a a queue formed. The woman at the till was also selecting and plating the cake as she went along.

Excellent staff, friendly locals, juke box is a massive plus and a good selection of drinks.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was amazing in the bar with the jukebox, customers were friendly and a good laugh. Decided to have some food which came out beautiful. Amazing time and will be returning again soon

Muy buena comida, un menú muy variado también. El servicio era muy amable y acogedor. Volveremos seguro. La plataforma de visualización, pero era agradable sentarse, no te sientes en absoluto como si estuvieras al lado de una carretera concurrida.

This is my local we always get delivery or if I’m around with the kids we go in for food We have had the odd issue but it’s always sorted and the staff are always helpful friendly happy our favorite in this house will always be the pork! Also tried one of the new frappes although the driver forgot to bring it when he did it was melted but was still amazing

Great place for lunch, lots to choose from and very helpful staff. I have a dairy allergy so finding places able to cater for me is difficult but they had so much I could eat. They make all of the pancakes fresh so I could even have them too!! They made them with oat milk and the pancakes with fruit and honey were delicious. I will absolutely be back

Popped in for coffee, hot chocs and a pastie in the morning - all delicious and lovely service. Then came back in the afternoon for tea and ice creams after coming back from Lynmouth. Really lovely place, thanks.

Ai saw a rat run across the bar, I thought I was seeing things at first but about 30 minutes later the same thing happened again , absolutely filthy pub, don't bother showering before you go because you will need onebstraight afterwards.

Good place to get breakfast or lunch. Consistent and you know what you are getting. Honest food not fine dining. Reasonably good value.

Bottomless brunch was fantastic! Chloe made sure we wanted for nothing - wonderful service and amazing cocktails! One little niggle was the food - next time we would upgrade to the main menu. Considering what you get it's more than worth it!

very good covid precautions taken had jacket pots and prawns perfect the coffee was great and the staff very good had food and drinks for 2 under £10 which is very cheap for the amount of food we had will call again when in Southam

Sat at a table for a couple of drinks at 5pm.table booked 630 .at520 asked to move because table was booked for food. Not happy as regulars. Never had a problem before.
