Costa Coffee in Cannock Chase

As you expect from Costa, sat outside with the dogs watching the world go by

Today I visited the Cannock Town Costa, mainly because the independents had all closed. I was fast losing faith in Costa but today I jad it restored again by a Barista that put some effort in to the presentation and milk quality of my Coffee. Further I was pleased to see them helping and elderly couple out by taking their order to their seats which I had offered to do for the elderly gentlemen. Well done team in both coffee and caring for the elderly members of staff. More people need to follow suit, we all need to look after each other.🤗🤗🤗

I've been in here a handful of times but the last time I went in I noticed how many flies were everywhere, the more I looked around, the more I noticed how utterly filthy the place is. Grubby, sticky, stained walls and floors, tables never wiped, toilets are horrible too. When we mentioned the flies the staff just said there has been a problem with the pipework but I can see from other reviews this has been going on for a long time now. I can't bring myself to go in here again. Minging.

Great location with nice seating. Service often slow/understaffed. Nice selection of food but store has a fly problem. Drinks good as always.

Daughter likes to go but I do like there iced coffee drinks always have a different one, server's friendly and quick service

On a quiet Sunday, none of the tables had been wiped or cleared. Floor needs a Sweep. Didn't want to sit on the sofa because of the crumbs. Nice coffee and hot chocolate though.

Service poor cleaniness not good tables not wiped over staff removed previous customer tray , toilet is disgusting not clean urine on the floor obvious not checked regular tissue on the floor

I visited on the 29th and this place has really gone downhill, the place used to be lovely with lovely staff. The lad serving looked absolutely miserable, no proper greeting or anything, then he proceeded to give me a gingerbread latte instead of a caramel one and he burnt the milk so it tasted foul. It was that hot that it took 10 minutes to cool enough to drink and by the time I’d tasted the gingerbread I had to attend an appointment so couldn’t come back, not that I think he’d take too kindly too it. The Frappe I ordered my sister didn’t taste like it normally does too, and he made the drinks in the weirdest and most inefficient way. I’d had my drink for 5 minutes by the time the frappe was done and there was nobody before us etc.

First, the positives. Service was good, staff were friendly and efficient. And coffee was what you would expect from Costa. Negative. Seats were filthy and toilet in need of attention. Water on the floor and the tap on the disabled sink was so loose you could turn it round.

Delivery time kept changing. Drinks were warm not hot. (This doesn’t bother me but it does my husband) But very tasty.

Had to sample the new Maple Hazel latte

Truly Amazing. They sold coffee which was brown in colour and cake 🎂 which was sort of a cakie consistency! Truly a mind blowing experience.

Lovely coffee but I received the wrong cake, I ordered a cherry Bakewell and received a lemon tart which I don’t like

This is the last time I step foot in cannock costa. The waiter was very rude, she was loud and didn’t care about her job.

You can't beat a costa. Plenty of hot and cold drinks available. I love the coolers and frappes as I don't like coffee. Yes they are more expensive but that's because the drinks are really good and I think you definitely get your moneys worth.

The manager is lovely always chatty in the mornings as are her staff, can't do enough for the customers

I loved the maple Hazel hot chocolate. The lady who served us was very friendly and had a great sense of humour.

This place is disgusting, whilst waiting in the queue I counted 15 flies, this was just around the checkout area- I put down my overpriced toastie and walked out

My husband and I visited the Costa last week, it was very quiet. We had regular cappuccinos and a small slice of raspberry and almond cake which was lovely. I think we will have to see if they do small size cappuccinos, as we struggled to pick the cups up, so heavy but we got there in the end

Place is filthy. Flys all over the walls ( in winter ) ants in the toilet. Tables not cleaned when it's quiet. Young lad making drinks on Wednesday morning needs some customer service training.

Ordered 2 brie and cranberry toasties and 2 cappuccinos. Toasties arrived around 5 minutes before the cappuccinos and upon checking the receipt found we'd been overcharged. NOT IMPRESSED.

Waiting to long , drinks were cold before toast arrived would of drunk the coffees and had another just didn't want to wait another twenty mins

Popped in for a mocha while her indoors had a hairdo. Usual corporate set up as expected.

This place is filthy! The whole place is in desperate need of a good clean.

Costa is my go to for coffee with other people, Most Costa stores are nice inside and the staff are always friendly and serve you with a smile.

Loved the mint choc chip cooler I got from here. It was just what I needed on a nice day. Staff are always nice and friendly. Didn't take too long to make and I was in and out within 10 minutes 😊

Presentation seems to have lowered on coffees. Some stores need a good clean too. On the upside the cakes and hot sausage rolls are good

Love a Costa stop 😍 especially in the cold weather. This store is nice and clean an pretty big. Had a hot chocolate with squirty cream and a bacon bap today an it was lovely 👌 love pretty much all the drinks available. Bought a gift voucher for a Christmas present and noticed some cool novelty Christmas tree decorations for sale for the coffee lovers ☕

Went to the Costa by the Orbital to be disappointed because they only had the small take out cups so I left to go to the Costa in Cannock. Was disappointed again because they didn't have the ingredients for the Golden Frostino, yet they've got it advertised by the menu and it's been like this for about 2 weeks now. Shouldn't have it advertised if not able to make the drink a customer has asked for. I love Costa but this is not acceptable

Popped in with my daughter for a cold frostini whilst shopping in cannock town centre. I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, our waitress was pleasant, she served us with our order in an efficient manner. I always enjoy a Costa coffee, they always have a nice selection of cakes, favourites and biscuits too. It's a nice little treat whilst shopping, always happy to revisit.

They have stopped the one way system so you now have to walk back out of the shop past the queueing customers causing you to get close to others unnecessarily.

Nice coffee selection, staff seem friendly and accessible but it is just too pricey for my liking. Tables are regularly cleared and cleaned.
